God's Imitator

[Prison Cell 1: Running Oneself Ragged]

[After entering the prison cell, you must continuously push the crossbar for 15 minutes. If you stop during this period, you will suffer electric shock punishment.]

[For every complete rotation pushed, you will gain 1000 minutes of visa time.]

…

[Prison Cell 2: Scattering a Fortune]

[After entering the prison cell, you can donate all remaining visa time from ”one week ago” equally to all surviving players in the New World. A debt of up to 50,000 minutes of visa time is allowed, and 48 hours of visa time will be retained to return to the community. If visa time is insufficient, you will suffer immediate death penalty.]

...

[Prison Cell 3: Standing By Idly]

[After entering the prison cell, you will enter ”Wise One Self-Imprisoned” state.]

[If the ”Hermit” player enters this prison cell, they must select any one player and transfer the ”Hermit” identity.][The next ”Hermit” must select a punishment from one of the other prison cells to replicate, reusing the reward and punishment mechanism.]

[If a non-”Hermit” player enters, the current ”Hermit” player will select a punishment from one of the other prison cells to replicate, reusing the reward and punishment mechanism.]

...

[Prison Cell 4: Heart-Piercing Questions]

[After entering the prison cell, each of the other players can ask 2 different questions. Providing all answers without going against one’s conscience is considered completion.]

[For each question answered, you can gain 5000 minutes of visa time.]

[If an answer triggers a conscience violation judgment or you refuse to answer, the player will suffer immediate death penalty.]

[After all answers are given, all other players will vote. If more than half the players vote ”death,” the player will suffer immediate death penalty.]

...

[Prison Cell 5: Death Surveillance]

[Within 15 minutes, pressing the button on the desk for a cumulative total of 10 minutes is considered completion.]

[During the game, a ”surveillance mannequin” will move randomly in the room. When within the frontal field of view of the ”surveillance mannequin,” if detected pressing the button, you will suffer ”nail gun” punishment.]

[If the player presses the desk button for less than a cumulative 10 minutes, they will suffer immediate death penalty.]

[If the player presses the desk button for more than a cumulative 10 minutes, for every additional 10 seconds they will gain an extra 2000 minutes of visa time.]

...

[Prison Cell 6: Submit to Fate]

[After entering the prison cell, the player has two choices:]

[Choice 1: Randomly draw a punishment from one of the other prison cells to replicate, reusing the reward and punishment mechanism.]

[Choice 2: Do nothing and quietly wait for 15 minutes.]

[At the end of this game (after the ‘Super Authority Player’ exercises their privilege), if the God’s Imitator who designed this game has not encountered a death threat, or has made a choice within the player’s expectations after encountering a death threat, then the player is safe and sound.]

[If the God’s Imitator who designed this game makes a choice beyond the player’s expectations, then the player suffers immediate death penalty.]

[This judgment will be completed by the Gallery’s mind-reading mechanism. The player cannot see the God’s Imitator’s game experience or details.]

All the rules of the six prison cells were opened up at once, leaving many people somewhat at a loss for a moment.

After Gao Jialiang finished reading the rules of the last prison cell, he had already somewhat forgotten what the earlier rules were.

And for some of the players, these rules had quite a strong sense of déjà vu.

Fu Yujun was thoughtful, ”The punishment in Prison Cell 5 is obviously the same as ’Surveillance’ in ’Lifting Game.’

”But the time is longer, and also, ’whipping’ has become ’nail gun’?

”If you have better skills, perhaps it’ll be fine, but in the worst case scenario you might die.”

Song Xiao from Community 15 said, ”Prison Cell 3 ’Standing By Idly’ is a bit like the crime of that police officer in ’Shelter Game.’

”Prison Cell 4 ’Heart-Piercing Questions’... is it related to ’Simple Q&A’?”

Cui Yifeng frowned deeply, ”Prison Cell 1 is obviously the original rules of ’King’s Judgment.’ Aside from the time being extended somewhat, there’s almost no difference.

”But what does Prison Cell 2 ’Scattering a Fortune’ mean? No matter how you look at it, this is an absolutely safe room, right?”

Cai Zhiyuan was still thinking.

He had already seen that the six prison cells corresponded to six games that had already occurred.

King’s Judgment, Conglomerate Nation, Shelter Game, Simple Q&A, Lifting Game, Tarot Game.

The mapping relationship between the prison cell punishments and the games was stronger for some and weaker for others.

For example, the mapping between Prison Cell 1 and ‘King’s Judgment’ was very strong, directly adopting its rules. While the mapping between Prison Cell 2 ”Scattering a Fortune” and ‘Conglomerate Nation’ was very weak, only the image of ”wealth” had a tenuous connection.

And the other six players were actually the ”witnesses” corresponding to these six games.

‘King’s Judgment’, Community 19, Cui Yifeng.

‘Conglomerate Nation’, Community 7, Sun De.

”Shelter Game”, Community 15, Song Xiao.

‘Simple Q&A’, Community 1, Gao Jialiang.

‘Lifting Game’, Community 10, Fu Yujun.

‘Tarot Game’, Community 14, Huang Ming.

As the ”Hermit,” Cai Zhiyuan held more decision-making power than the other players.

The question now was whether he should enter a prison cell or not, and if so, which one specifically.

After that, he also had to consider how to arrange the other six players. He had to use all the prison cells once to end the game.

But most importantly, he definitely had to ensure his own survival.

Sun De asked cautiously, ”I want to enter Prison Cell 1. Does that work for you?

”If it does, could you please use that lantern to help verify it for me.”

Gao Jialiang was somewhat curious, ”Hm? Why don’t you enter Prison Cell 2? It seems that prison cell should be safer, right?”

Sun De looked at him, ”Although I don’t have much visa time, I’m reluctant to give it up.”

Gao Jialiang didn’t know what to say for a moment.

Sun De added, ”If you think Prison Cell 2 is so good, you can enter Prison Cell 2 yourself. Everyone probably won’t have any objections.”

The other players were obviously also thinking about which prison cell’s rules were safer.

First, for the players other than Cai Zhiyuan, they would most likely first eliminate Prison Cells 4 and 5.

Because these two prison cells were the most dangerous at first glance.

Prison Cell 4 ”Heart-Piercing Questions,” the player would have to answer a total of 12 questions, and all had to give ”truths.” After speaking, the other players would also vote to decide life or death.

Besides the player in the prison cell, there were another 6 players. Although the rules said ”more than half” would be judged as immediate death, meaning at least 4 ”death votes” were needed, who knew what kind of questions these players would specifically ask.

Most likely they wouldn’t show mercy.

Moreover, most players would have an instinctive aversion to exposing their secrets, and unless absolutely necessary, wouldn’t play this awful ”truth” game.
