God's Imitator

’↑The Lovers’ continued, ”Other Core Communities most likely have no vacancies or only one vacancy, and moreover, they most likely already have specific recruitment targets and won’t accept players from other Peripheral Communities.

”But our community is different. Due to previous unexpected circumstances, we have 3 vacant positions.

”In other words, we can accept 3 players from Peripheral Communities, and simultaneously save all players participating in the game from these 3 Peripheral Communities, preventing them from suffering death punishment.

”However, our community also has survival pressure. If we become the community with the lowest returns, we as a Core Community will also all suffer instant death punishment.

”So this ultimately boils down to a ’Wealth Voucher distribution’ problem.

”My plan is this:

”I can promise to accept you into our community, allowing you to safely exit from this game and ensure the safety of players from your community.

”Of course, there’s an additional benefit: to accomplish this, we must first ensure your total Wealth Vouchers reach the average level of Core Community player returns and exceed the vast majority of Peripheral Community players, so naturally when you leave the game you can obtain a decent visa time return from this game.

”What you need to do is cooperate with us as much as possible, allowing our community to also acquire more Wealth Vouchers and not be at the bottom among Core Communities.

”This is a perfect win-win, isn’t it?”He Xiaojun was silent for a moment. It sounded like ’↑The Lovers’’ proposal was quite attractive.

But he could also clearly feel that some details were vague.

”This way, I would inevitably enter your community.”

’↑The Lovers’ nodded, ”Of course, that’s how the game rules work.

”For Peripheral Communities to avoid triggering instant death for all, there must always be one player who goes to another Core Community.

”Either you leave, or other people from your community leave.

”Do you have feelings for your original community, so you want others to leave the community while you stay?

”But I must remind you, if you want to accomplish this, you’ll have to communicate with other players from your community, but in this game, the communication cost is very high.

”Whether or not you have a suitable candidate in mind, you can’t determine when exactly you’ll be matched with them, or whether they’ll agree.

”By the time you roughly reach consensus within your community, it’ll be too late.

”Because other communities will act much faster. Once the latter 3 hours of free battle time begins, these communities will most likely activate internal circulation mode and get on the fast track of farming Wealth Vouchers.

”If you’re a few steps slower, you’ll never catch up.

”So the best approach is for you to seize this opportunity right now and cooperate with us. You can’t place your hopes on other players from your community anymore.”

He Xiaojun nodded. This point was also consistent with his previous thinking.

Players from Peripheral Communities were actually already in a rather dangerous situation and had to find a way to save themselves.

”Then how specifically do you want to cooperate?”

’↑The Lovers’ explained, ”Very simple. First, we exchange our communities’ secret codes, and you can also tell me some information about players from your community.

”Because single-player matching in this game is still too slow. You might not necessarily match with players from your community, making it difficult to confirm identities. If our community’s players also help search, we can organize faster.

”Second, I’ll transfer Wealth Vouchers to you depending on the situation, ensuring you can obtain higher wealth value than other Peripheral Community players. This way we can ensure that when you enter our community’s Exit Area, you can smoothly exit.

”But when necessary, I might also ask you to transfer some wealth value to me, because we must ensure our community’s returns don’t bottom out among the four Core Communities.”

He Xiaojun considered for a moment, ”But this is somewhat contradictory.

”To ensure I can exit through the Exit Area, I need to obtain more wealth value than general peripheral players, even approaching the median of Core Community player returns to be safe;

”And to ensure your community doesn’t bottom out, you need to obtain more wealth value than another Core Community.

”Transferring Wealth Vouchers between us can’t change the total amount.

”Where do these additional Wealth Vouchers come from?

”You mean... obtaining them from other players in our community?”

’↑The Lovers’ didn’t deny it either. He nodded, ”Correct. You’re very smart. I didn’t misjudge you.

”By being frank and open with each other, we can greatly reduce communication costs.

”Yes, these Wealth Vouchers can only be obtained from other players in your community.

”But this doesn’t matter, because Wealth Vouchers themselves can be withdrawn freely. If players from your community don’t dare carry too many Wealth Vouchers, it’s all wasted anyway.

”Only by carrying as many Wealth Vouchers as possible and having them flow within small groups is the correct way to play this game.

”As for specifically how to obtain Wealth Vouchers from players in your community, you can decide yourself.

”You can directly lay your cards on the table and persuade them to transfer Wealth Vouchers to you; or you can use rhetoric to trick them into transferring Wealth Vouchers to you.

”If you don’t want to choose either, we can also do it for you.

”In any case, the result is the same.

”You obtain high returns and enter our community, while players from your community get slightly lower returns but can safely return.

”No one will face death threats. This is the most secure win-win, isn’t it?”

He Xiaojun fell into silence.

Obviously, there was no free lunch in the world. ’↑The Lovers’’ true strategy, to put it bluntly, was to have him become a mole in the community.

From the community’s overall perspective, Wealth Vouchers would have a net outflow from Community 14.

Because ’↑The Lovers’ wanted to ensure his community occupied an advantage when competing with the other three Core Communities, he had to obtain additional income.

Otherwise, they could just play among themselves and wouldn’t need to bring along Peripheral Communities at all.

The flow of Wealth Vouchers was: other ordinary players from Community 14 would consolidate Wealth Vouchers, which would flow to He Xiaojun, and then He Xiaojun would transfer a portion of these Wealth Vouchers to ’↑The Lovers.’

In this process, He Xiaojun could be certain to enter ’↑The Lovers’’ community and obtain higher returns than general players without any cost.

Other Community 14 players would have their returns in the game significantly reduced, but they could at least ensure their own safety and not suffer instant death punishment.

The biggest problem was, what if other Community 14 players didn’t cooperate? What if they didn’t massively transfer Wealth Vouchers to He Xiaojun?

The method ’↑The Lovers’ provided was very clear:

If He Xiaojun could persuade players from the same community, then persuade them.

If he couldn’t persuade them, then deceive them.

If He Xiaojun was worried he couldn’t deceive them, that was also fine. He just needed to tell ’↑The Lovers’ Community 14’s secret code and some information, and ’↑The Lovers’ would find a way to arrange people to deceive them.

In any case, roughly the same result could be achieved in the end.
