God's Imitator

’↓The Star’ returned to his rest room and breathed a sigh of relief.

”Fortunately, fortunately, I encountered Sister Lu in a relatively early round...”

He was Cheng Wen from Community 3, who had also entered this game.

In previous game matches, he had won some and lost some. Although it couldn’t be called particularly disastrous, his Wealth Voucher returns were quite worrying.

However, as a player from Community 3, Cheng Wen had noticed ’↑The Magician’s’ performance very early on and thus confirmed her identity.

After being matched this time, both parties briefly confirmed the secret code established in the community.

Every Community 3 player entering the game would say ”I ate 4 ’specific foods’ this morning.” Cheng Wen was assigned half-fried eggs.

At this point, Lu Xinyi had to correct it by saying it was ”3.” If she didn’t say this, the other party wasn’t Lu Xinyi.

Lu Xinyi also adopted the ’Number Bomb’ game rules. After confirming Cheng Wen’s identity, she directly pointed out the correct box and gave him all the Wealth Vouchers.

However, the information Cheng Wen received was far more than just this.”Let me analyze the current situation...

”I didn’t expect Sister Lu would also choose to adopt ’↑Wheel of Fortune’s’ ’Number Bomb’ gameplay and not choose to create her own rules.

”Actually, with her abilities, she could completely create her own, right?

”Then a more likely explanation is that this ’Number Bomb’ ruleset has some additional benefits.

”From a game strategy perspective, Sister Lu should have roughly understood the optimal solution for this game, which is why she gave me three different numbers to switch between depending on different situations.

”I just need to remember: in low-level matches, prioritize using 8 and 15. These are symmetrically distant numbers from both ends, probably calculated using some method, right? In high-level matches, prioritize using 11. This should be some kind of hide-in-plain-sight strategy, right?

”But aside from the ’optimal solution,’ the ’Number Bomb’ rule obviously has other benefits.

”The most prominent benefit is that this rule is simple and easy to understand, and can bring out the maximum amount of Wealth Vouchers!

”Wealth Vouchers aren’t visa time and have absolutely no restrictions, so theoretically speaking, carrying the maximum of 11 million each round is the best choice.

”But in the actual game process, before entering a match, there’s no way to determine whether the ’Thief’ is a player from the same community.

”If they’re from the same community, of course everything is fine, winning or losing doesn’t matter.

”But if they’re a player from another community, once there’s a loophole in the rules, it could give the opponent a large amount of Wealth Vouchers, which would in turn drag down one’s own community.

”In the original basic rules, the ’Thief’ might use weight or sequence rules to guess size. If using different denomination Wealth Vouchers to confuse, it would cause a large amount of 1000 denomination Wealth Vouchers to shrink to 100.

”Moreover, under rules like sequences, due to the expected upper limit of 11 million, the ’Sage’s’ thinking can easily be predicted by the ’Thief.’

”But with the ’Number Bomb’ rule, the ’Sage’ can adapt according to different situations.

”If the opponent is a player from the same community, one can artificially control wins and losses, supplementing this huge amount of Wealth Vouchers to the side with currently lower returns.

”After all, this game ultimately depends on individual wealth values to determine exit. If you want to not abandon any community player, this kind of Wealth Voucher exchange is necessary, and must be done quickly.

”Just like Sister Lu won many times in the game and is confident enough about subsequent matches, so she chose to first give the Wealth Vouchers to me, and I’ll then see the situation and give them to people in the community with fewer Wealth Vouchers.

”If the ’Thief’ is a player from another community, you can consider playing normally. Unless you’re particularly unlucky or the opponent is particularly strong, causing the number to be guessed, the returns in other situations are very considerable.

”Putting it this way, this ’↑Wheel of Fortune’ is very strong. When he thought of this ruleset, did he also think of this function of ’transferring Wealth Vouchers within the community’?

”Community 17 also participated in this game. Could it be Brother Lin?

”If I encounter him, can I get friendly and see if he’ll give me some Wealth Vouchers or something...”

...

At the same time, He Xiaojun was also in his rest room, reviewing the match he saw as a spectator in the previous round.

’↓Hermit’ successfully guessed the number set by ’↑The Sun’ and won all the Wealth Vouchers.

However, since both parties blocked the sound from the start, spectators couldn’t hear what exactly they said, nor did they know what strategy ’↓Hermit’ adopted or what numbers he guessed.

From the results, this was a great victory for the Reversed camp and was quite an exciting and encouraging thing.

But for He Xiaojun, having served as spectator twice and participated in or watched various matches, he had instead fallen into even greater anxiety.

He had already had similar thoughts in the spectator room, and now this thought had become even clearer.

”No, this can’t continue...

”Players from other communities have obviously already mobilized. Although it’s unclear which specific communities these strong players are from, there are definitely already relatively strong communities that have established coordination.

”How exactly was it established?

”It should be impossible to prepare before entering the game, right? God’s Imitators shouldn’t be able to spoil so much content. But after entering the game, when players from the same community are matched in a game room, they can chat with each other and formulate collective strategies.

”Spectators can only listen to information from one room at a time, and players can also actively choose to block, so it’s normal for spectators not to hear discussions about communities among players in the room.

”But now for our Community 14, the situation has become very critical...

”According to the game rules, the competitive pressure on Core Communities is very high. The Core Community with the lowest total Wealth Vouchers will have all members suffer instant death, while Peripheral Communities don’t have such harsh conditions.

”This also makes many players from Peripheral Communities like me overly cautious, not daring to carry too many Wealth Vouchers, afraid of encountering strong players and losing everything.

”But this obviously won’t work, because Peripheral Communities must have one player enter any ’Exit Area.’ In other words, every Peripheral Community must have one person obtain very high Wealth Voucher returns and go to a certain Core Community after the game ends.

”If this can’t be achieved, all players from that Peripheral Community will remain in the game and will still suffer instant death punishment.

”Does our Community 14 have such a person... I’m not sure...

”At a time like this, absolutely cannot place hope on other people. This concerns one’s own life and death!

”So, I must now accomplish two things...

”First, I must try as much as possible to gather courage and attempt to earn more Wealth Vouchers. Only this way can I make up for previous failures and reach the standard of ’barely getting into an Exit Area at the end.’

”Second, I need to somehow show my existence to other players in our community as much as possible. I can’t wait until I really encounter them in a game room to confirm the code. That way it might be too late...”
