God's Imitator

The next second, Lin Sizhi realized he had already returned to the community hall.

This game had lasted quite a long time, but even so, the Community 17 players were all waiting in the hall.

Due to the existence of the ’First Player Identity Card,’ players remaining in the community could also synchronously obtain the game’s basic rule information, so they were still quite worried.

However, what they were mainly worried about wasn’t the appearance of deaths.

According to the game rules, the last-place Core Community suffering instant death for all members, and the second-to-last Core Community having one death, both possibilities had low probability of occurring.

Even if they ranked second-to-last, they could use a Death Exemption Ticket to save the player who might die.

What everyone was most worried about was actually major personnel changes occurring.

Because after players entered the Exit Areas, exits were determined by individual wealth values. If Community 17’s strong players hadn’t made proper arrangements in the game, players like Zhou Guifen, Shen Xing, and Dai Yifan might very well be squeezed out by players from other communities.

So, after seeing everyone return, Li Renshu immediately began confirming the roster.

She first saw that Zhou Guifen, Shen Xing, and Dai Yifan were all present, which made her breathe a slight sigh of relief. This showed that during the game, the community’s strong players had still made corresponding arrangements, transferring enough Wealth Vouchers to these weak players who needed special care, ensuring they could normally return to Community 17.

But immediately after, Li Renshu realized something wasn’t quite right.

Because among the 8 players who returned, including Shen Xing, there were 3 players from other communities.

This meant that of the original 6-person group who entered the game, only 5 actually returned.

”Brother Wang isn’t here?

”Where is Brother Wang?” Yang Yuting also quickly noticed this and said, full of shock.

Zhou Guifen had originally been holding Shen Xing’s hand, immersed in the joy of mother and daughter’s reunion. At this moment, she also belatedly said, ”Eh? Boss Wang isn’t here?”

Everyone looked toward the three players from other communities and found they had actually all met them before.

Shen Xing from Community 5.

Li Jiang from Community 13.

Yang Hui from Community 8.

Regarding these three players joining the community, most people had no objections, because judging from their performance in previous games, they weren’t players with obvious malice, nor would they impact or damage Community 17’s power structure or ecological environment.

But what everyone couldn’t accept was that Wang Yongxin hadn’t returned to Community 17.

For a moment no one spoke, and the atmosphere suddenly became awkwardly silent.

Many people were impacted by this sudden change and didn’t know what to say.

Li Renshu was obviously also somewhat unable to accept this, but after considering for a moment, she still clapped her hands, ”Alright, I know everyone may have many questions, but this game lasted a very long time, and the players in the game all worked very hard.

”Although personnel changes may have occurred that no one anticipated, this game’s rules were special, and such situations occurring perhaps also had components beyond human control.

”We’ve had contact with these three players in previous games. I believe that by the standard of ’new members,’ all three of them qualify.

”So, since things have come to this, let’s first accept this result and express our welcome to the three new members.”

After speaking, Li Renshu led the applause. The other players also responded one after another, and the community hall became lively again, even if briefly.

Shen Xing, Yang Hui, and Li Jiang expressed their thanks to everyone and gave simple self-introductions.

Li Renshu continued, ”This game lasted a very long time, and everyone worked hard. Let’s rest for a bit first.

”After dinner, we’ll conduct a review of this game.

”Does anyone want to volunteer to help these three new members familiarize themselves with the community environment?”

Shen Xing’s case naturally didn’t need consideration. It would definitely be Zhou Guifen who’d help her familiarize herself with the community. This mother and daughter pair surely still had much to say to each other.

Yang Yuting immediately took responsibility for Yang Hui, while Cai Zhiyuan took responsibility for Li Jiang.

After these matters were arranged properly, everyone looked toward the screen in the hall with somewhat complicated feelings.

[According to community rules, visa time obtained by players will be contributed to the community’s security fund using a ’progressive tax rate.’ Remaining visa time will be credited to each player’s visa.]

Due to personnel changes, the corresponding player numbers had also changed.

Previously, positions No. 1 and No. 9 were vacant, and Wang Yongxin was No. 6. Now they were filled by the three new players.

Looking at the earnings numbers, overall they were relatively average, with differences not very large.

This was because from the game rules’ perspective, the strong players’ primary task was to ensure same-community players could smoothly exit, not to blindly ensure they obtained the highest earnings for themselves.

The specific wealth values were hard to explain clearly, because each person obtained different Wealth Vouchers, and when Wealth Vouchers converted to visa time, they were also affected by weighted influences from community ranking and camp victory/defeat situations.

But one could roughly calculate that a total of 7 players died in the game, and their total visa time, after being doubled, was distributed to the surviving players.

Community 17’s players were on the ’receiving transfusions’ side, so their earnings would be higher.

While players like Huang Ming, whose strength wasn’t very strong to begin with and who ’transfused’ to others in the latter half, might have earnings of only 10,000 to 20,000 or even lower.

Overall, this game’s total earnings weren’t high, but this wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Because if they wanted high earnings, it was very simple. The players controlling this game could make slight adjustments and completely wipe out one or two Peripheral Communities, and total earnings could easily double.

Fortunately, that possibility didn’t occur.

Although there were still many questions, the overly long game time did indeed make most people feel tired.

Everyone dispersed one after another.

The three new players were led by Zhou Guifen, Yang Yuting, and Cai Zhiyuan respectively to familiarize themselves with the community environment and move into corresponding rooms.

...

After dinner.

All players sat around the long table, preparing to begin reviewing this game.

However, reviewing this game was obviously more difficult than all previous games.

Because of the special matching mechanism, most players couldn’t see the game’s full picture and could only talk about matches directly related to themselves.

After serious consideration, Li Renshu first had Wei Yinzhang use his own game experience as the main perspective to narrate the entire game process.

Then they would consider supplementing from other perspectives.

Wei Yinzhang took over the conversation, ”Then I’ll first talk about my experience in the game.

”Speaking of which, it’s somewhat embarrassing. I mainly adopted a defensive strategy, so I didn’t have any particularly notable performance in matches.”

Li Renshu shook her head, ”No, the rules you established were key to Shen Xing and Auntie Zhou’s reunion, and you also bore great risk.”

Feeling Zhou Guifen and Shen Xing casting grateful looks at him, Wei Yinzhang nodded at them, ”It’s alright, it was worth it.”

During the review and narration, the players who hadn’t participated in the game gradually began to learn the game’s full process.
