God's Imitator

According to the rules, as long as one player from a Peripheral Community exited through an Exit Area to a Core Community, the other players in the community wouldn’t suffer instant death punishment.

However, most Peripheral Communities weren’t organized enough, and they might not be able to determine who exactly had the highest wealth value in their community. So to be safe, some Peripheral Communities might have had more than one person stand in an area.

Of course, if choosing to exit in Area D, they might face a new problem: after going to Community 4, a split would definitely occur with 100% certainty.

Because the original players of Community 4 and the players who subsequently entered Community 4 through this game would most likely split into two small groups, one being ’natives’ and one being ’outsiders.’

This would create natural conflicts and would inevitably require reorganization.

And the result of this reorganization was completely unknown, which meant risk.

If players sought stability, it might be better to go to the other three Core Communities through Areas A, B, and C, since their power structures wouldn’t change too drastically.

But if players were ambitious themselves, the probability of seizing power in Community 4 was also greater than in the other three communities.

Between the Exit Areas, the flow of personnel was still slowly occurring, but it was generally stabilizing.

Some players simply stood at the center position of this ’tic-tac-toe grid,’ which made it very convenient to change their Exit Area at any time.[In 15 seconds, the ’Exit Area with the highest wealth value’ will exit.]

[After that, this area will be completely sealed. Eliminated players please choose other areas.]

Huge countdown numbers appeared on the large screen. The venue was very quiet, with no one speaking.

The instant the countdown ended, 8 players in Area A disappeared instantly.

Those players left behind looked somewhat disappointed, but there was nothing they could do. They hadn’t obtained enough Wealth Vouchers.

The original Area A disappeared, which meant it became like the boundary area, no longer possessing exit functionality.

He Xiaojun let out a long breath, his mood somewhat complex.

Actually, if he wanted to, he would definitely enter Community 17 as long as he stood in the area, but after hesitating for a long time, he ultimately chose to give up.

He wasn’t sure whether Community 17 would actually accept him. After all, in this game, he hadn’t received any olive branches extended by any Community 17 players.

And if forcibly entering, he might squeeze out originally weaker players from Community 17. He didn’t really want to see this happen.

”Forget it, let’s consider other Core Communities.”

He Xiaojun looked at other players from his community, including ’↑The Moon’ Huang Ming, ’↓The World,’ and Doctor Shen.

They didn’t urge him or offer suggestions, only nodding at He Xiaojun, indicating he should make his own decision.

The countdown on the large screen changed to 5 minutes, which meant that after 5 minutes, the Exit Area with the second-highest wealth value would exit.

He Xiaojun’s gaze swept over the remaining three areas.

In Area C, ’↑The High Priestess’ Jiang Chenyan nodded at him.

Previously in the game, the two of them had encountered each other. Although ’↑The High Priestess’s’ deception was seen through, he instead appreciated He Xiaojun because of this and extended an olive branch.

And at this moment, ’↑The High Priestess’s’ reaction seemed to confirm this as well.

For Jiang Chenyan, solving Wang Weidong within the game was only the first step. After returning to Community 15, he might not be able to completely control the community, even with Xu Zhao’s help.

To completely resolve Wang Weidong’s die-hard supporters would definitely take considerable effort.

Whether completely eliminating them or recruiting them for his own use, neither would be easy.

If he could bring back capable Peripheral Community players from this game, they could definitely smoothly develop into his own die-hard supporters, which would be very beneficial for seizing community power more quickly.

He Xiaojun looked at Area B again.

’↑The Magician’ had left a deep impression on him in the first match. Community 3 might also be a good choice.

Regarding Community 3, he had actually heard some rumors, but it was difficult to determine whether these rumors were true or deliberate bait information.

After all, communities schemed against each other, and any kind of deception was possible.

If the rumors were true, then Community 3 was definitely a good choice, but thinking about his match with ’↑The Magician,’ He Xiaojun again felt instinctively resistant.

It was indeed difficult to decide.

Just then, a voice sounded beside his ear.

”You seem a bit lost.

”Interested in joining forces with me and starting from scratch?”

He Xiaojun turned his head and saw that the speaker wore ’The Emperor’s’ mask with the downward arrow.

He was stunned because in his previous impression, ’↓The Emperor’ had been standing in Area A. This should be a Community 17 player.

In the game, ’↓The Emperor’ was the player who proposed the ’Number Prisoner’ rules, which also left a deep impression on He Xiaojun.

No one would doubt his strength.

”...Aren’t you a player from Area A?” He Xiaojun subconsciously asked.

’↓The Emperor’ was silent for a moment and smiled, ”Heh, can’t help it. Plans can’t keep up with changes.”

He Xiaojun considered for a moment and nodded, ”Alright, I’ll go with you.

”However, I’m not a very strong player.”

’↓The Emperor’ smiled and said nothing, only waving his hand, indicating for him to stand in Area D.

The 5-minute countdown ended, and Area B exited.

The second 5-minute countdown ended, and Area D exited.

The final 5-minute countdown ended, and Area C exited.

There were still players remaining in the venue because the number of players the four Core Communities could accommodate was limited. There would always be Peripheral Community players who couldn’t squeeze in.

If a Peripheral Community had no players exit through an Exit Area, they would still suffer the punishment of instant death for all members.

Some more confused players still hadn’t determined who exactly the players from their community were up to this point, so naturally they couldn’t determine whether they were safe.

However, with the appearance of the final broadcast, the lingering players’ anxious hearts finally settled down.

[All four Peripheral Communities have at least one player who successfully exited through an ’Exit Area,’ therefore no additional instant death punishment will be imposed.]

[Peripheral Community players remaining in the game will return to their respective original communities.]

[Core Community players remaining in the game will randomly return to any of Community 5, Community 8, Community 13, or Community 14.]

[Players who survived in the game will receive a total visa time reward of ’total visa time of players who died in the game × 2,’ distributed according to the amount of ’Wealth Vouchers’ each individual earned in the game.]

[Individual ranking, community ranking, and camp victory or defeat (determined by the camp’s ’win count’) will all affect the specific value of the visa time reward.]

[For specific gains, please check in the community hall.]

[Game over.]
