God's Imitator

After considering, Cai Zhiyuan said, ”The following is just a possibility, not a suggestion, nor does it represent my thoughts.

”Perhaps allowing ’outsiders’ to enter the five-person group is also a possibility.

”I of course know that from conventional thinking, this is a low-level political error.

”But given our community’s current situation, it might not be completely unworkable.”

Cai Zhiyuan paused slightly and continued explaining, ”Everyone certainly knows very clearly the drawbacks of doing this, so I won’t elaborate.

”But doing this would actually also have corresponding benefits.

”Looking long-term, our community’s ’natives’ will inevitably gradually decrease. This is inevitable.

”According to the community rules for selecting people, the cooldown time will become longer and longer, so if we want to quickly replenish community members, we can only poach from other communities or even merge with other communities.

”Looking at the results, our community will ultimately, like other communities, inevitably transform from a ’native community’ into an ’immigrant community.’

”How to balance the relationship between natives and immigrants is also a headache-worthy problem for us.”From the current situation, Li Jiang and Yang Hui of course won’t have too many improper ambitions regarding the community’s power. Even if their interests are damaged in the short term, they won’t have too many complaints.

”After all, they also know that they’re currently living under someone else’s roof. Wanting to integrate always requires a certain amount of time.

”But as immigrants gradually increase, a new core formed by ’foreign immigrants’ will inevitably appear.

”Actually, the most crucial role of the ’five-person group’ isn’t to manage the community. There aren’t many things to manage in the community to begin with. Just talking about these specific affairs, one or two people could handle them.

”The truly crucial role of the ’five-person group’ is to prevent a second core from forming within the community and causing irreversibly severe damage to the community’s ecology.

”When the core of the opposition faction in the community gradually becomes irreconcilable with us, we should absorb them as much as possible.

”This way, during the process of a new opposition faction forming and producing threats, although the community will have some growing pains, stability and safety can be maintained.

”If the opposition faction’s core in the community doesn’t have sharp conflicts with us temporarily, maintaining the status quo is instead a better choice.

”This is a dynamic process.

”More bluntly, among Yang Yuting, Li Jiang, and Yang Hui, which one becoming the opposition faction’s core would we most hope to see, and which one becoming the opposition faction’s core would be most difficult for us to accept?

”Considering from this angle, bringing in the person who is ’most difficult to accept’ can also be an option.”

Lin Sizhi smiled, ”So our community now also needs to start considering ’united front value’?”

Cai Zhiyuan sighed, ”There’s no helping it. Although the existence of some things makes people very uncomfortable, behind them are often dilemmas.

”Of course, I believe there’s no right or wrong between these two choices. It’s just that choosing either one will bear corresponding consequences.

”It depends on which part we value more.”

After serious consideration, Li Renshu said, ”If we have to choose one from the two ’outsiders’ Li Jiang and Yang Hui, we can only choose Li Jiang.

”Because looking at gaming style, although Yang Hui also takes on some team-leading roles, she can often also exist as a support position.

”While Li Jiang, although he might be slightly inferior to Yang Hui in game strategy, the initiative he displays is very strong, especially his performance in ’Childbirth Judgment’ left a deep impression.

”It can be said that Li Jiang might not be very strong in game strategy and scheming, but in ’taking responsibility’ and ’actively doing things,’ he should be relatively outstanding.

”Assuming that in the future our community’s ’outsiders’ become more and more numerous, forming a situation of ’natives monopolizing the five-person group,’ while ’outsiders’ gather around Li Jiang, the situation might indeed be somewhat difficult to handle.

”Although currently, the natives still hold an overwhelming advantage, hidden dangers will ultimately be planted.

”We’ll sooner or later have to accept the reality of ’a certain outsider entering the core.’”

She looked at Wei Yinzhang, ”Yinzhang, your and Auntie Zhou’s situations are special. Because you’ve already integrated very well into the community, you’re not included in this.”

Wei Yinzhang nodded, ”Yes, this point doesn’t need much explanation. I understand.”

Here, the ’natives’ Li Renshu and Cai Zhiyuan discussed mainly referred to Li Jiang and Yang Hui, as well as all players from other communities who came to Community 17 after these two.

Wei Yinzhang and Zhou Guifen’s situations were relatively special. On one hand, their connections to their original communities were very weak. After entering the community, they already had specific ecological niches, and when they came, the community’s personnel changes weren’t this frequent yet, so they integrated very smoothly.

These two could basically be viewed as ’natives.’

But Li Jiang and Yang Hui were obviously different situations. Other players who subsequently came to the community would most likely continue Li Jiang and Yang Hui’s kind of state.

Examples like Wei Yinzhang and Zhou Guifen probably wouldn’t appear again.

From basic political logic, Yang Yuting should definitely enter the core.

This looks somewhat like ’seniority-based promotion,’ but if they didn’t do this, it would be equivalent to ’abandoning the elder to establish the younger,’ causing the logic of community personnel selection to become chaotic.

Perhaps some would think, why shouldn’t Yang Yuting enter the five-person core, yet newly arrived outsiders do? What do those of us old members who worked hard and diligently for the community count as?

But standing at the community’s overall perspective, there might be another explanation.

With Yang Yuting present, others in the ’opposition faction’ wouldn’t have improper ambitions, because even if they suffered some unjust treatment, they’d still have to rank behind Yang Yuting.

Assuming there were new ’outsiders’ afterward who initially formed a force, then Yang Yuting and Li Jiang entering the five-person core would be completely different situations.

If Yang Yuting were in the five-person core, then ’outsiders’ would believe that in Community 17, they had absolutely no chance. The five-person core would always favor natives, so they would naturally gravitate toward Li Jiang or someone else and gradually coalesce.

But if Li Jiang entered the five-person core, then ’outsiders’ couldn’t really do anything.

Because the opposition faction’s core would be Yang Yuting. Even if she suffered some unjust treatment, if Yang Yuting herself hadn’t said anything, what complaints could others have?

Wanting to gather together to cause trouble would ultimately be suppressed by Yang Yuting.

And Li Jiang’s presence in the five-person core was equivalent to a flag, or a pie, displaying Community 17’s attitude of not sticking to conventions and being inclusive of outsiders.

Instead, there would be corresponding benefits.

Of course, the key to doing this lay in how to make Yang Yuting have no complaints without entering the five-person group and cooperate in occupying the position of ’opposition faction core,’ while simultaneously making Li Jiang marginalized after entering the five-person core but not too obviously.

In short, having Yang Yuting come in was a natural and simple operation, but there might be some hidden dangers in the future.

Having Li Jiang come in was an operation that violated common sense and was complex, but if done well, it could make the community’s ecology more stable.

Wei Yinzhang leaned back against her chair and let out a long breath, ”I really envy other people who don’t have to consider these troublesome matters.”
