God's Imitator

Wei Yinzhang didn’t have any particularly notable performance throughout the entire game because she had been consistently adopting the most secure defensive strategy.

Actually, with Wei Yinzhang’s abilities, she could have tried creating her own Sage rules.

After all, she was a God’s Imitator and had access to the ’Tarot Game’s’ basic rules earlier than other players, giving her more time to prepare.

But there was no need.

Precisely because Wei Yinzhang was a God’s Imitator and had a clearer understanding of the game rules, she knew that creating rules or guessing Wealth Vouchers in wooden boxes with other players wasn’t a required option in this game.

It was better to use minimal energy thinking about this part and leave all remaining energy for probing identities and subsequent planning.

After all, many players in the early stages were testing the rules and didn’t bring full amounts of Wealth Vouchers at all. Perhaps winning three matches after racking one’s brains wasn’t as good as being unconditionally transfused blood by a ’blood bag’ once in the later stages.

Wei Yinzhang explained, ”If only considering defensive strategy, when assigned the ’Thief’ identity, one could ignore the Sage rules and directly take away 10 wooden boxes.

”When assigned the ’Sage’ identity, bring the full 11 million as much as possible so the boxes’ weights don’t have obvious differences, while simultaneously ensuring the rules don’t have loopholes and making the ’Thief’s’ expected earnings slightly lower than 10 boxes.

”I actually used the ’Number Bomb’ strategy for several matches. The win rate in the early stages was still very high, and the earnings were good too.”However, after considering that most players were starting to become familiar with this strategy, I stopped using it and switched to a purely defensive strategy.”

Everyone nodded one after another.

If they hadn’t agreed on ’The Fool’s’ identity in the community from the start, based solely on in-game performance, it would really be difficult to recognize Wei Yinzhang because she had so little presence.

But from another perspective, Wei Yinzhang’s strategy completely aligned with her consistent style.

She had never been a player with quick wit or who took unconventional approaches. In most situations, she would plan thoroughly before acting, only choosing strategies she believed were the most secure and reliable.

After considering for a moment, Li Renshu said, ”This game’s basic rules could indeed have many variations. Just the strategies displayed in the game included ’weight deception,’ ’hiding large denomination boxes,’ ’Number Bomb,’ ’mother-daughter boxes,’ ’Number Prisoner,’ and many others.

”The strategies and gameplay for each type of rule were all somewhat different.

”However, let’s leave the analysis of each specific gameplay for later.

”I think we should first discuss the question everyone cares about most.

”What exactly is Brother Wang’s situation?

”Did he actively choose to leave our community, or did an accident occur in the game that caused his wealth value to be insufficient and he was squeezed out of exit qualification?”

Everyone looked at each other. Indeed, this was everyone’s biggest question.

There were still many questions about various strategies in the game, but compared to this biggest point of doubt, they were all trivial.

Zheng Jie said matter-of-factly, ”This is beyond question, isn’t it!

”With Brother Wang’s strength, as long as he wanted to earn enough Wealth Vouchers in the game, he definitely could. How could he be squeezed out by others?”

Qin Yao suggested, ”Or should we roughly judge based on the earnings situation after returning to the community?

”The lowest earnings line is approximately 56,000. As long as we confirm Boss Wang’s line is higher than this number, we can prove he actively withdrew from the Exit Area, right?

”He could do it by taking one step back across the area line at the instant before the countdown ended.”

Wei Yinzhang shook her head and reminded, ”The visa time earnings situation we see doesn’t directly correspond to wealth values in the game, but is converted after being calculated with weighted algorithms.

”Individual ranking, community ranking, camp victory or defeat could all affect this specific value.

”Li Jiang and Yang Hui’s community rankings were definitely very low, so although their visa time looks about the same as everyone else’s, the wealth values they actually obtained in the game were very likely higher than others’.

”As for camp victory or defeat, the final win count was obviously higher for the Upright camp. Boss Wang was the Reversed ’Emperor,’ so perhaps he also suffered some loss in this aspect.

”We can be certain that what the rules stated must be true, but exactly how it’s calculated, only the God’s Imitator who designed this set of rules knows.”

Everyone fell into brief silence.

Even after Gallery games ended, not all information could be clearly checked.

Actually, in previous games, there had been many similar situations.

For example, ’a certain factor will affect earnings,’ but the rules would only state whether this factor would make earnings increase or decrease, not specify whether it would become 1.5 times, 3 times, or 10 times.

Other details, if examined closely, actually had similar situations.

This seemed to be some kind of God’s Imitator privilege tacitly permitted by the Gallery.

Qin Yao thought about it, ”But we can also check the game records to determine Boss Wang’s approximate Wealth Voucher earnings in the game, right? Although checking might be very expensive.”

From previous situations, if wanting to check a certain player’s records, the more complex the records, the higher the checking price.

This game lasted a very long time, and each small match was actually quite complex, so wanting to check a player’s entire game records would definitely be very expensive.

To check several more would become an astronomical figure.

Li Renshu shook her head slightly and silently sighed, ”Actually, there’s no need to do this.

”Even if we spend enormous costs and find out that Brother Wang’s Wealth Voucher earnings were indeed not high, what would that prove?

”Could it prove someone schemed against him?

”I would only think Brother Wang deliberately controlled his own Wealth Voucher amount.”

Everyone fell into silence again.

After considering for a moment, Li Jiang proactively broke the silence, ”Sorry, my final choice to try standing in Area A may indeed have caused some trouble for everyone.”

Li Renshu shook her head, ”No, you two shouldn’t misunderstand. This matter has nothing to do with you.

”According to the game rules, you needed to enter a certain Exit Area to ensure your same-community players’ safety. Making any choice was beyond reproach.

”I don’t believe you squeezed out Brother Wang’s position, because among the 8 people who returned, the one with the least visa time was Auntie Zhou, so the one with the lowest wealth value was most likely also Auntie Zhou.

”What we really want to discuss is why Brother Wang’s wealth value was even lower than Auntie Zhou’s.

”If it wasn’t Brother Wang deliberately controlling his own wealth value, this would be hard to explain.

”Then whether Brother Wang actively left the area or didn’t return by controlling his own wealth value, it’s all the same.”

Zheng Jie expressed confusion, ”That’s not right, is it? Brother Wang isn’t that kind of contrary person. If he had decided to leave, he could have simply not stood in Area A.

”Why go through the trouble of withdrawing at the last second or controlling his own wealth value?”

Wei Yinzhang said, ”I checked Han Mengying’s records. She had matched with Boss Wang before, and after the free game phase, she also invited him once.

”Han Mengying probably wanted to recruit Boss Wang to Community 4.

”From the community ecology perspective, Boss Wang choosing Community 4 would be quite reasonable.”

Zheng Jie was stunned, ”But didn’t Community 4 get wiped out in this game?”

Wei Yinzhang nodded, ”Then it’s even more suitable for Boss Wang.

”A vast sky and open sea, great things to be accomplished.”
