My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3100 -1032: The Legend of Captain Cape – Ongoing Serialization_3

“The individual has encountered severe chaos pollution, with flesh mutation reaching 45.69%. Consciousness is blurred, but brainwaves are abnormally active, suspected of being drawn into filthy illusions. Organs are rapidly failing with signs of malignant mutation, with the life form quickly transforming into a chaos creature.

Estimated countdown to complete transformation: 27 hours.

Logical judgment indicates no necessity for rescue, humanitarian destruction suggested!”

“What!”

Ron immediately clenched his fist and cursed:

“You’re going to kill my brother? Are you crazy?”

“Just a suggestion, buddy, calm down.”

Bertie immediately stopped and said:

“Governor Murphy had anticipated such an extreme situation before departure. He requested that as long as Brigadier General Fraser is still alive, he should be returned to the airship as swiftly as possible. He might have some means to save the Brigadier General.”

“Sir Murphy said so? Well, then it should be fine.”

Only then did Ron breathe a sigh of relief. He watched as the robot held Fraser in its arms like a princess, flew into the air wrapped in flames, just like when they arrived, bringing Fraser back to Governor Murphy’s defenses.

“Aren’t you leaving?”

The Colonel glanced at Bertie with surprise and whispered:

“Who is that female robot? Seems to be very close to you.”

“That’s my… well, spiritual companion.”

Bertie replied with some embarrassment but then continued seriously:

“Iron Hand Captain said you rescued other warriors who were polluted. I’m staying here to attempt to save them. Governor Murphy gave me some medicines mixed with slight creation energy, asking me to conduct clinical trials with them.

Furthermore, you have tasks ahead.

Lady Li Ji and Chosen Lady Qiuchote have jointly dispelled the disaster climate of The Hidden Worship of Daguan. Reinforcements from both fronts are approaching the besieged Vanguard Highlands. Governor Murphy instructed the warriors to ensure none of the Filthy Jackal People, now chaotic creatures, escape.

If they’re not annihilated here, it could lead to extreme consequences on the Ligurian Peninsula.”

“Consequences? No, young man, extreme consequences have been caused long ago, and you just haven’t seen it yet. The storm prevented you from observing the surroundings, but when we first arrived, we saw it with our own eyes.”

Colonel Ron relit a cigarette, saying regretfully:

“The local civilians who didn’t escape in time have been sacrificed by the Wolf People who believed in the Evil God to their Evil God. Those village and town ruins are filled with desecrated corpses, and at night, unclean filth wanders those ruins.

I thought the plain where Charldo Harbor is located was bad enough, but compared to the tragedy in the Northern Peninsula, Charldo Harbor undergoing post-disaster reconstruction is as beautiful as paradise.

These damned Wolf People ruined this land!

In a radius of thousands of miles… there might not be many survivors left.

But honestly, more than wanting to kill the monster Wolf People, I want to strangle the bastard who led them into chaotic faith. Those dogs of twilight… Eh? Dude, why is your face so pale?”

—————–

“Clang”

Penny’s feet landed on the airship’s deck.

With the precision and efficiency of a robot, she carried Brigadier General Fraser quickly into the airship’s medical room, where Murphy was already waiting.

The Vampire Lord had previously guessed Fraser’s condition, but upon seeing the once elegant, puppy-like heir of Cape reduced to his current state of neither human nor ghost, Murphy gasped.

The only difference between him and those Filthy Jackal People was that he was still in the process of being infected and transformed by chaotic power, but not far from the worst-case scenario.

“In this situation, it’s practically hopeless!”

Lady Li Ji beside Murphy initially intended to show off her strong power as the daughter of Ao before Murphy’s eyes, but after glancing at Fraser’s condition, she stepped back covering her nose, afraid of being contaminated and ruining her elegant appearance.

She shook her head and said:

“Burn him, let him suffer less. Chaos has deeply invaded his body, even if my father came here personally, he could only give him a quick end with Purification Fire.”

“Yes, had it been five days ago, the situation would have been hopeless as well…”

Murphy nodded in agreement.

Fraser’s dire condition was evident; Murphy stepped forward to grasp Fraser’s burning right hand. Amid the activation of the Omega Program, Fraser let out a scream, yet temporarily regained sanity during the painful dispelling of evil thoughts.

But now he lacked the strength to even open his eyes, unable to see the outside world.

“Fraser, it’s me, Murphy, I have a way to save you.”

The Vampire Lord said:

“But before executing this risky project, I must tell you the risks involved…”

“Cough cough… will it make me… worse than now?”

“It won’t.”

“Then do it… Thank you… Murphy, I owe you a…”

“You owe me a lot, but your wealthy father will cover the bill.”

Murphy smiled.

He released Fraser’s hand and turned to Mosna, who had arrived, saying:

“Prepare for the symbiote transplant experiment! Mosna, have Old Flynn and He Lu bring the necessary items over, we need to figure out how to create a ‘Captain Cape’.”
