Chapter 3065 -1021: Brother Fu Sent Me 50 for a Strength Check – Bonus Chapter for Monthly Tickets [1/10]

“What? Why is Sir Morphy suddenly summoning me?”

On the airship carrying the second group of reinforcements departing from Charldo Harbor heading towards the frontline islands near the Temple of the Giant Rock, Knight of Liwen, who just finished a facial mask, was about to find something to eat in the ship’s kitchen when a warrior from the Blood Vulture Clan delivered an order to her.

Facing her inquiry, the vampire dressed in Shadow Intelligence Bureau uniform replied solemnly:

“I’m not sure, but the Governor has requested that you report to him immediately upon reaching the frontline, and asked you to be prepared for a test regarding your Dragonborn abilities.”

“A test?”

Hearing the term, Knight of Liwen furrowed her brows. Although her academic performance was quite good since childhood, she definitely did not like undergoing any damn “tests.”

No one likes exams; which decent person enjoys the fun of exams?

With such a rant, Knight of Liwen brought some apples and a plate of vegetable salad back to the cabin, but before she could start, the door was pushed open. The Golden Peach Knight, having just finished a routine Holy Light prayer, entered the room with her helmet, tossed away her weapon, and pounced on Knight of Liwen from behind, rubbing her neck like a golden silk cat. Upon smelling the food aroma, she exclaimed:

“Wow, did you prepare lunch knowing I was hungry? Wait, why is there no meat? Vegetables alone can’t fill the stomach. How else can you grow muscles to wield a sword?”

“Eat, eat, eat, that’s all you know, you’ve gained so much weight since coming to Transylvania. Your old clothes don’t fit anymore, Biqi, Biqi, now you’re somewhat like a Saintess of Light; can’t you at least pay attention to your image?”

In deep thought, Knight of Liwen was caught off-guard by the “attack,” which made her a bit angry, especially when Biqi’s mischievous hands messily wandered inside her clothes, causing her to jump up as if wanting to smack the salad into Biqi’s silly face. But ultimately, she sighed and stuffed the food into Biqi’s hands.

Biqi didn’t mind, she laughed and began devouring the meal. Midway through, she noticed Liwen’s furrowed brow, so she leaned over and whispered, prompting Liwen to share the order she just received, which instantly piqued Biqi’s interest, and she started analyzing randomly.

Silly people are silly because they lack self-awareness. With her brain focused on slashing and hacking, what kind of analysis can she come up with?

The Golden Peach Knight took a bite of an apple and said, tilting her head:

“They emphasized it’s a Dragonborn abilities test, so they’ve encountered a similar problem again. I heard the Daguan Fishmen can control storms; isn’t that your specialty as a Dragonborn? Perhaps Governor Morphy needs you to suppress the Fishmen’s storms to create an opportunity for the warriors.”

“Hmm, this time your little brain seems to be spinning fast. It seems Saint Ray’s light indeed filled your mind with some wisdom.”

Liwen reached out and patted Biqi’s little head and said:

“I suspect you’re guessing, but your guess this time isn’t bad. Speaking of which, you’ve been preaching with the Torrent Knights at Charldo Harbor these days, right? How’s the result?”

“It’s okay, just average. People here don’t have a tradition of faith; each one is influenced by those heretical Half-body Men.”

Biqi said, shaking her head while holding the plate and eating:

“The Ligurian Peninsula is the place with the weakest faith atmosphere I’ve seen. It’s rare to find non-believers elsewhere, but here you can grab a bunch.

The Torrent Knights have tried hard, but aside from those hopeless ones in the Lower City District, others show little interest. I suspect they’ll soon abandon their actions here.

Once the matters here are concluded, plans to reclaim Malo Town at Torrent Castle are set to start. Tepar and Uncle Fuding intend to make Malo Town the next faith stronghold. With Saint Ray’s blessings, if we can defeat the entrenched undead, spreading the faith of Holy Light into East Prussia is a sure deal.

His Excellency Crow crafted a plan for us. Once the episcopal areas of East Prussia are established, the next target is Anjou Region; Grandpa says the plan is cautious but steady, and he has no objections.

So, Liwen, we’ll soon be going home.”

“You really see this as a good thing, don’t you?”

Liwen sighed and gently stroked Biqi’s golden long hair in a caring manner, as if tending to a little fool.

She understood what the spread of Holy Light Church across Goldfinch Kingdom meant, and also knew the hidden threats and risks beneath this propagation of faith. Any slight misstep and Biqi and the entire Eleville Family will become the “traitors.”

But regarding this matter, Liwen knew she didn’t have much say.

After all, Lord Kuder had already nodded in approval, and as an outsider to the Eleville Family herself, she truly couldn’t comment much. She just felt it too cruel for Biqi, who believed in the world’s goodness, to bear such risks.

But conversely, with the Holy Light Doctrine’s development and evolution, indeed, no one is more suitable than Biqi, deeply believing the world will ultimately enter enlightenment, to serve as a faith envoy, not to mention Biqi is truly a “chosen one.”

In such contemplation, several hours later, the airship fleet carrying the second batch of reinforcements and supplies arrived at the now fully armed island. Upon disembarking, Liwen immediately followed orders to report to Sir Morphy’s airship, and upon pushing the door open, she saw Sir Morphy alongside a noble lady dressed in an oriental palace-style outfit.
