My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3071 -1023: Sometimes Letting Morals Follow Looks Isn’t Such a Bad Thing… [3/10]

Little Brother Fu was dumbfounded at this moment.

Because the prompt from the Adventure Assistant was too eerie.

There was nothing difficult to understand about the language; Daguan set up a plot here, apparently a trap targeting the Mermaids who came to destroy the fish eggs, but unexpectedly, the players arrived and inadvertently triggered it, so Daguan went with the flow and bestowed the “Abyssal Blessing” upon these foreigners.

Once they accept this power, players can unlock the special race: Daguan Fishmen.

It sounds really cool, it’s a free race change!

But the moment he saw this prompt, Little Brother Fu decisively chose X.

No sane person wants to be a Daguan Fishman!

This race has neither looks nor strength. Now that he’s reached Silver, choosing this would definitely make others laugh their heads off; it’s a one-way ticket to the sewers!

No way anyone would choose you!

However, the pop-up asking “yes/no” in front of him seemed more like a courteous inquiry before triggering Xibixibi Kudeta, akin to the classic “yes” option that pops up at the start of infinite loop games. Even though Little Brother Fu firmly chose “no,” it didn’t stop the dark fish in front of him from exploding into filthy flesh and covering his body, initiating the next transformation process.

“Damn!”

Moniqiong cursed loudly.

Beside him, Big Black had already swung his battle axe and started a frenzied slaughter. This armored Spiritual Body Minotaur was loyally protecting its master, spinning underwater whirlwinds beside Little Brother Fu, tearing apart all the foul fish that approached. But this did not change Little Brother Fu’s current predicament.

Others in this trench were also facing similar troubles.

Especially “Lady Shui,” the beautiful girl of advanced age.

The thought of turning into a scaly, slimy, hunched-over dark fishman with big bulging eyes made Lady Shui tremble with anger.

She would rather die!

She’d rather jump off the solar ship!

She’d rather die by falling in the deepest pit of the Dark Territory, than let her beautifully dressed and pretty character fall into such an undignified situation!

Hey, a beautiful face and elegant figure are a girl’s second life. You bastard Daguan are making us give up on them, isn’t this just robbery and murder?

Curse you, Evil God!

I’ll represent the girls and blow you up!

Unfortunately, though Lady Shui’s will against the race transformation was very determined, Daguan’s Divine Power had gathered here, forming a catalytic force field of flesh interference, causing all creatures within to start sliding into the fishman form as The Fallen.

In Lady Shui’s daze, she could even see the path to the Abyssal Divine Kingdom opening up, with a huge, ugly, and deranged Angler Fishman lurking quietly in the abyss, gazing at her.

Its luminescent eyes seem to be the only guide in this dark land. If one doesn’t want to be engulfed by the boundless filthy darkness of this Spirit world, they must proceed along this path toward the abyssal glow ahead.

This is the most beautiful blessing and guidance given by Daguan to his progeny.

No need to give up everything amidst destruction and doom; just change one’s form to achieve symbiosis and coexistence with Subspace Energy.

Come on.

Step into the night before the arrival of dusk, slumber in that sunless abyss until the next era awakens.

Lady Shui heard that voice.

As an Avalon Believer, she knew her Spirit was under influence, so she invoked the name of Avalon in her heart to maintain basic awareness.

She lowered her head, her neck in the water seemed like rusted components, swinging with difficulty, where she could even hear the sound of bones clattering. She could already see things like fish scales extending on her skin, an ugly sight that made her feel sick.

She was falling into degeneration.

Heard that Old Qu previously picked up items during special missions that allowed players to temporarily become members of the Chaos Faction, and now it seems that she and others were facing similar distress.

“There’s no escape.”

Amidst the dark swarm of fish, Brother Huozi, forcibly reverted to human form, said with difficulty:

“Find a way to log off… “

Lady Shui didn’t respond.

In her eyes, her husband’s tall body had already hunched over; the Evil God’s flesh transformation spell of Father of Fish had taken effect so swiftly? Worse still, even forcefully logging off here, her Spiritual Energy-made body would continue to transform, and she’d have to log in next time with a ridiculously ugly fish head to parade around.

So, there was only one extremely drastic option left.

“Below!”

She said.

Between husband and wife, it’s like there’s an emotional connection, and Brother Huozi immediately understood what his wife intended to do.

He grasped Lady Shui’s hand difficultly, and the two descended into the depths of the trench together, landing beside the explosive device previously buried. Their hands, already transformed into fishman limbs, pressed onto the lever directly detonating it.

Push down!

“Boom!”

A deep thud accompanied by the destruction of the sand in the trench and numerous fish eggs, splashing black foul blood, such close explosion inflicted heavy casualties on both Silver Rankers, causing Brother Huozi to disconnect on the spot, while Lady Shui, possessing stronger defense, in her last moments after drinking the decisive victory liquor, looked back, yet still saw Little Brother Fu and the others struggling within the dark fish swarm.
