My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3092 -1030: If Murphy Saves Me, My Marshal Career Will End, Right? [10/10]

Destroying the Fishmen Nest is just a waypoint in the “Feast of the Mad Fish” pursuit event, not the end. One day eastward from these waters, the players aboard the dirigible and elven warship saw the terrible “scenery” of the northern coast of the Ligurian Peninsula at that time.

The originally red sea cliffs and beautiful beaches have now become a filthy wasteland, with vast numbers of fishmen visible to the naked eye scurrying around that coast. You can even see shattered war banners standing on the desolate land from afar. In the distance, there is a village town completely destroyed, which has now become one of the Daguan Fishmen’s strongholds on land.

To better adapt to the fishmen’s combat style, the climate of this area has been completely altered.

Gale winds carrying a fishy smell beat down along with misty clouds, and torrential rains fall from time to time, turning the original hills into a terrible filthy land of Ze.

This is the connection between the Kato area and the Ligurian Peninsula, and also the rear of the besieged Pioneers of the Expeditionary Legion. The fishmen have completely cut off the Goldenrod People’s potential retreat by changing the terrain, forcing them to fight a life-or-death war in the hilly area at the front with the Wolf People.

Transylvania and the mermaid and elven warriors will land here to defeat the Rampaging Fishmen Army frequently harassing the logistics lines of the Expeditionary Legion from behind, and restore the altered terrain to its original state, thus supporting the battlefield at the front.

“Oh my god, how many fishmen are on the land?”

On the high deck of the dirigible, Little Potato’s mom, Cowgirl Judy, was using binoculars to look at the battlefield ahead.

Seeing those black fishmen running through the ruins in the burnt and flood-destroyed villages, despite Cowgirl Judy having fully adapted to this hell-like game’s combat rhythm, she couldn’t help but feel her scalp tingle.

She pulled the perspective further and seeing several similar “fishmen huts” along the mountain torrent channel beneath the dark clouds, Lady Judy got a clearer understanding of the numerical advantage of the fishmen.

“No wonder the dev team set the ‘Feast of the Mad Fish’ event to last a month… with so many fishmen, everyone would get a sprained wrist from slaughtering them all.”

Cowgirl Judy felt dizzy and simply gave up continuing her observation, tossing the binoculars to the “wildcard” beside her. The latter immediately took over the battlefield observation work from the “big sister,” while Lady Judy herself returned to the cabin amidst greetings from a group of subordinates.

She initially joined the Silver Moon Group, but after her husband entered the game, she started her own guild called the “American Iaido Heritage Association.”

She made herself the guild leader and, through her husband’s connections, absorbed the newbies who entered the game with him. Because of her daughter’s relation, this small guild received financial support from the Silver Moon Group and developed quite well.

Similar small guilds have sprung up everywhere in the current player community. After all, the larger the guild system in this real-world-like game, the more effort required in management, even the expansion-loving group ‘Pride of Falling’ has stopped recruiting new members.

Chen Long and his Zodiac Guild with each member leading one hundred people have reached their limit, with no more energy to recruit any more newbies.

After all, they are players here to enjoy the game’s fun, not corporate drones coming into another world to do guild management work.

However, small guilds have their own survival methods, just like how the “American Iaido Heritage Association” leans on the Silver Moon Group, most small guilds have shadows of several older guilds behind them. It’s worth noting that “Hymn of Loyalty” is the group supporting the most guilds.

But Lady Judy’s small guild has gained significant fame among the newbie community, not because of their combat power, but mainly due to all the unique characteristics of its members.

Besides the wildcard horse, the blind eagle, and the spine-less dog, there are scapegoat sheep, overworked cattle, lazy fish, warning chicken, coward turtle, stand-up bird, rice bucket, retreating drum, fence-sitter grass, and a series of newbie members with uniformly peculiar IDs.

From these uniquely styled names alone, one can guess that Lady Judy’s guild is full of “talent.”

Of course, there’s no need to shirk responsibility once you’ve entered the game, so although the names are bizarre, the actual combat power is not bad. In the just-concluded Fishmen Nest battle, the guild’s team score of the “American Iaido Heritage Association” has already entered the top thirty of the scoreboard.

For a guild newly established for only half a month, this combat power is pretty awesome. Besides the guild members being very capable, another reason for such a strong performance is because the guild supports a “Bard Daddy.”

“Bang”

The wild older cowgirl slammed open the door, immediately seeing her husband changing into combat leather armor and weaponry. Beside him lay a series of instruments from flutes to a seven-stringed zither, packed in a delicate instrument case.

That gear is “Daddy Potato’s” combat equipment.

Although this musician hasn’t been in the game for long, he has already made a name for himself, putting great pressure on the former “Player’s First Bard,” Lumina, proving that professionals truly live up to the title. Even though Daddy Potato is just a Black Iron Rank warrior, his self-created series of catchy and easy-to-learn battle tunes have become mandatory learning “textbooks” for newbie bards.
