My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3059 -1019: Triss & Murphy’s Dark Past +1

“Look! That Mermaid Sister, wow, she’s so beautiful and mature, so generous and wealthy, her tail is azure blue, I like it! I heard that mermaids can grow legs when they come ashore, right? Do you guys think she might like a fluffy, both majestic and cute image like me?”

The famous Chieftain, Head Lion Beast of the Grey Wolf Army, leaned on his well-used hunting sword, sitting with a group of rhodium and beryllium, sharing tobacco while commenting on the mermaid girls walking around on the beach.

Upon hearing Head Lion Beast daydreaming, the other players immediately mocked him.

Wolf Brother didn’t mind, after all, it was just the regular post-battle banter, everyone would praise each other and let it go, no one took it seriously.

In the midst of peaceful puffing clouds, the keen-eyed Yan Song suddenly blinked and stood up, saying:

“Wow! How come there are Nagas among the mermaids! Look at that mermaid with a serpent tail just rising from the water, that’s terrifying, isn’t she the interdimensional Bai Suzhen!”

“Nonsense, this style is clearly the interdimensional Little Qing, right? Her tail is green… Wow, that standard water snake waist and belly-exposing costume… so seductive.”

Another player immediately refuted:

“Also, she’s carrying a blade, keep your voice down, or she might cut your tongue off, these serpent-tailed mermaids are fierce, when I was killing fishmen before, I saw them in the sea doing mass slaughters, they were terrifying.”

“What’s this about serpent-tailed mermaids! It’s just ignorance, they’re simply followers of the Avenger as Tidal Hunters, okay?”

Head Lion Beast exhaled a smoke ring and explained to these ignorant fellows:

“When we followed Duke Babro into battle, those ‘Avenger’ followers of Vicanos guided us ashore, it’s said these mermaids once had fish tails like other mermaids, but joined the Avenger’s Temple for various reasons, and after receiving Vicanos’ power, they became what they are now.

They abandoned their more elegant and beautiful appearance for combat power several times fiercer than other mermaids, as well as serpent-like acute senses and deadly toxin manipulation. Duke Babro said these ‘beautiful serpents’ are the most dangerous creatures on the Misty Sea.

Once you offend them, you’ll suffer for the rest of your life.

Tidal Hunters walk the path of vengeance and hunting, they’re united and decisive, ruthless to enemies, even the common people within the mermaid community fear them.

These Serpent Tail Sisters are the major military force of the Atlantean Kingdom.”

“They’re that capable?”

The nearby rhodium and beryllium didn’t expect such differences among the two kinds of mermaids, they exclaimed they’ve learned something and then coaxed Head Lion Beast to go find the Tidal Hunters for a duel, to see just how powerful these Avenger Hunters really are.

But Lion Beast wasn’t foolish, refusing to go no matter what.

After some chattering, they each began to chop the Black Fins of Daguan Fishmen on the battlefield scattered with corpses, to exchange them for military merit.

Not only them but also more enthusiastic newbies were cutting them.

In their eyes, these stinking corpses seemed to be piles of treasures, cutting the fins with sharp blades then stringing those filthy things to wear on their waists, smiles on their faces showed a blend of farmers reaping their harvest and wild ecstasy from “borrowing your head for military merit”, which unintentionally reinforced the stereotype of “Transia people are barbarians” among the observing merfolk.

The Wandering Priests felt these reinforcements were a bit extreme.

But the Tidal Hunters appreciated the straightforwardness and bravery of the Transia people, yet upon hearing players cut fins to exchange for merit, Lady Nikita, the commander of Tidal Hunter, felt something was off.

She didn’t recall issuing such a kind of bounty, so she hurriedly returned from the frontline to the Lighthouse Position to confirm with Commander Dena about the order, only to find a group of sisters hugging each other and crying.

She thought these sisters were being bullied, but upon asking, she found out they were joyful for reclaiming their purity.

Looking closely, these sisters who had been polluted by Daguan’s evil Divine Power and transformed into ugly fishman monsters indeed recovered their pure bodies, though each was quite weakened due to the healing process, compared to the wonderful outcome, this weakness just requiring time to recover was obviously inconsequential.

“Is this all thanks to the support from that Vampire Lord?”

The commander of Tidal Hunters asked, and the touched sisters immediately voiced:

“Yes, yes, that graceful and handsome lord tirelessly cured us personally, his scorching and fiery Divine Power purified our filth, as if returning to moist and beautiful waters.”

“Sir Murphy is so handsome, unfortunately, he already has a partner, Lady Triss, as beautiful as the rarest pearl in the sea.”

“But I heard vampires have chaotic private lives, I wonder if the Governor needs a lover from the sea?”

“You? You’re not quite there yet…”

“What did you say? Are you calling me ugly? You ugly brute, I’ll tear your mouth apart!”
