My Players Are So Fierce

Chapter 3082 -1026: Anglers Are Simple Souls, Aren’t They, Prince His Highness?

The female captain said solemnly:

“This will undoubtedly create unnecessary chaos in the Kato area. I’m not sure why the Governor would do this, but it’s clearly a human affair. Are we really going to get involved?”

“You also said it’s a human affair.”

The blue-haired elf riding a unicorn shook his head and said:

“So we just need to do our own part. The activities of the Daguan Fishmen in this sea territory have already interfered with our country’s maritime borders. It’s the fleet’s responsibility to defeat and drive them away. As for what trouble the merfolk will cause next, that’s not for us to consider.

The Armastasha Fleet will always only be responsible for our own people.”

After speaking, with the unicorn’s neigh, the creature clad in luxurious wooden armor took a few steps on the deck before leaping into the air, riding the wind towards the skyship where Murphy was located.

A team of Sea Knights riding Storm Crows also escorted their prince into the airspace. As creatures adored and blessed by the Storm Queen Avalon, the Sea Elves moved as swiftly and gracefully in the air as they did in the sea.

Furthermore, as members of the royal family, there is a certain protocol to their actions. Before the arrival of the distinguished, a messenger had already delivered the news of the Sea Elf Prince’s visit to the Governor to Murphy. Therefore, when the blue-haired prince landed on the skyship deck riding the unicorn, Murphy, Triss, and Lady Dena were already waiting there.

The Sea Elves, one of the three major elf factions in the Castia Kingdom, devoted followers and believers of the Storm Queen Avalon, are also the primary members of the Armastasha Fleet.

Their royal family shares power with the Forest Elves and Moon Elves within the Castia Kingdom. The blue-haired Elven Prince before them is the current naval commander of the Armastasha Fleet and is also the prospective son-in-law of the current Elf King Quirion.

It’s said that this prince will marry the Moon Elf Princess Xilagui Gwynn Carronode in a few years, which also means the authority of the next generation Elfin King Court will shift from the Forest Elves to the Sea Elves. This also suggests that the conservative Elf Kingdom might enter a period of aggressive expansion. Once the Sea Elf Prince becomes the Elf King, their fleet is likely not to confine itself to the kingdom’s waters anymore, which is not good news for other powers in the Misty Sea.

This succession seems like a serious affair, but after Triss’s explanation, Murphy realized it was just a family matter of internal inheritance games.

Because the royal families of the three elf tribes are, quite literally, one family, the handsome and elegant Sea Elf Prince before them even calls Prince Filoseer “aunt,” and before Elf King Quirion married Moon Elf Queen Ilenea Carronode, she would call him “oni-chan.”

Ugh~ Close relatives marrying! How primitive!

Fortunately, elves are Eternal Species, making genetic diseases less likely to occur. Otherwise, over the past thousand years, the Elven royal family might have exhausted themselves to extinction.

“Greetings to you! Governor Murphy.”

Prince His Highness leaped down from the unicorn, politely nodding in greeting to Murphy. The Vampire Lord courteously returned the gesture, but the next moment, Murphy softly asked:

“This isn’t our first meeting, is it? Your Excellency, if I am not mistaken, the elf fisherman whom my warriors unexpectedly met by the sea while rescuing the Mermaid Messenger at Charldo Harbor was you, wasn’t it?”

“Uh.”

Murphy’s straightforward question caught the handsome prince off guard.

He looked around and whispered:

“It was just a leisure activity. You know, I am usually very busy, and only in snatched moments of leisure can I…”

“I understand very well, even during a busy schedule, one must throw a few casts. For an angler, the agony of seeing a beautiful fishing spot but unable to cast is truly torturous. While I am not an angler myself, I understand these feelings.

After all, my warriors, even at the risk of being attacked by thorn beasts, must make a few casts. Such risky behavior has caused incidents that have become a legend in the streets of Transylvania.”

Murphy laughed and said:

“This is evidently a meeting arranged by fate, Prince Iverios. I’m delighted to see that before our official meeting, you’ve already made genuine friends with my warriors. This implies that the Armastasha Fleet and the Blood Fear Fleet of Transylvania will certainly be good companions in the future.

Please follow me.

My embarrassing Babro brothers dare not face the majesty of the Armastasha Fleet, so I must mediate the conflict between both sides.”
