The Fantastic Little Farmer

Chapter 180: Chapter 180: What Right Do You Have to Talk to Me About Fairness?

When Zhang Yun had just entered the Peach Blossom Spring Space, he was actually incredibly nervous!

It wasn’t that he was afraid of getting shot—that was nothing. It was the fact that the clothes he wore and the weapons in his hands could all be brought into his Personal Space.

Just moments ago, Qi Luo had been straddling his back. Could she have been counted as ”his possession” too?

If he had accidentally brought Qi Luo in with him, it wouldn’t have been an escape at all; instead, he would have exposed his greatest secret!

If it were merely a secret, he could just silence the witness. But he had casually left the gun, the Blood Demon Blade, and the sword lying on the ground inside the Peach Blossom Spring Space. If Qi Luo had entered while straddling his back... given her reflexes as a top-tier assassin, she would have instantly grabbed a blade to stab him or a gun to shoot him!

That would essentially be handing his life over on a silver platter!

Therefore, the moment Zhang Yun entered, he was highly tense, and immediately thought of a countermeasure: if Qi Luo was also there, he would instantly exit before she could react!

Fortunately, after entering, Qi Luo wasn’t there. Zhang Yun breathed a sigh of relief.

How could he bring a living person in? By grabbing her with his hands?

Now wasn’t the time to study this. The cloth belt and zip ties binding his hands had come in with him just the same.

Zhang Yun reached back, picked up the Blood Demon Blade, and cut the zip ties on his wrists and ankles. Then, he checked his available weapons.

Firing a gun inside a hotel was too conspicuous, and Yang Zhao’s sword was a bit too long. The Blood Demon Blade was definitely the most convenient choice.

He estimated the time. Having already experienced this once, Qi Luo wouldn’t be standing in the same spot. He could go out at any moment.

Re-emerging, he found himself still sprawled on the bed. Zhang Yun was prepared to thrust the Blood Demon Blade outward, only to find the hotel room empty!

”Come out!

”Get the hell out here! I know you’re still inside!

”Stop playing these damn tricks on me!”

Qi Luo’s voice drifted from the bathroom. Zhang Yun was stunned. She actually thought he had phased through the wall into the bathroom?

Playing tricks?

That gave Zhang Yun an idea. He quickly hopped off the bed, sat down on a chair in the room, and casually started using the Blood Demon Blade to clean his fingernails.

Failing to find Zhang Yun in the bathroom, Qi Luo immediately rushed back out.

”Are you... man or ghost?”

Seeing Zhang Yun sitting there casually, the hairs on the back of Qi Luo’s neck stood up. She had just confirmed that the entire room was empty. Where had he been hiding?

Could he have ”disappeared” from the bed, only to sit invisibly on the chair and watch the show?

It wasn’t until now that Zhang Yun finally got a clear look at what Qi Luo actually looked like.

Earlier in the hallway, when she ambushed him with a gun, he hadn’t exactly been in the mood to admire her face. He only had a vague impression of a woman in black.

Later, when he tackled her into the corner of the wall, he had pinned her from behind and grabbed her hair, still not seeing her face. Outside Block B, with the distance and the glass window between them, he could only confirm her presence, let alone see her clearly.

Now that Zhang Yun was comfortably seated and observing her face-to-face at his leisure, he realized that Qi Luo was very young and beautiful. It went without saying that her figure was toned from martial arts training—something he had personally felt when pinning her down earlier and frisking her later.

”Such a beautiful lady, why choose the life of a killer?”

This suddenly poetic remark caught Qi Luo off guard.

”You didn’t kill me earlier just because I’m a woman?”

Zhang Yun smiled. ”You’re pretty good-looking. Even if you’re an assassin, you must be the eye candy of the Assassin Realm. It’d be a pity to break you.”

”I am no eye candy!” Qi Luo yelled angrily. This bastard was humiliating her!

”Being beautiful is an asset. Stabbing you with a knife or shooting you with a gun would be a waste. I’d much rather stab and shoot you with a different kind of weapon...”

”Go to hell!”

Not only did he call her eye candy, but he was blatantly harassing her to her face! Qi Luo charged at him swiftly. The leather belt in her hand instantly turned into a whip, lashing out at him!

Zhang Yun quickly stood up, grabbed his chair, and smashed it right at her!

Before the belt could even reach him, the chair slammed heavily into the charging Qi Luo!

In movies, chairs shattered upon impact because they were pre-sawn and held together by temporary glue. But this was a real chair, thrown with Zhang Yun’s immense strength, and it directly knocked Qi Luo off her feet and sent her flying!

Zhang Yun quickly stepped forward. Before she could roll over, he planted his foot squarely on her chest, pinning her down so she couldn’t struggle.

”Shameless sneak attack!”

Qi Luo tried to lash out with the belt again, but Zhang Yun casually caught it and gave it a vicious tug!

Since her chest was pinned under his foot, the violent yank caused a surge of pain in her chest, forcing her to let go of the belt.

”You attacked me, and I blocked and counterattacked. You call that a sneak attack?” Zhang Yun sneered.

Qi Luo was left speechless and could only change her tune. ”Get your stinking foot off me! Shameless!”

Stepping on her chest with his foot—wasn’t that shameless enough?

Zhang Yun scoffed, ”I’ve confiscated your belt and you’re still acting tough? Do you really think I don’t have the heart to kill you just because you’re pretty? Do I look like I have a shortage of women? Look at the two inside—which one of them isn’t bustier than you?”

As he spoke, he ground his foot into her chest.

Qi Luo felt a mix of pain and extreme shame. She was being humiliated again!

She thought indignantly, ”Damn it, if I were as huge as the woman inside, wouldn’t it get in the way of my job?”

”Shameless!”

Zhang Yun chuckled coldly. ”Is that the only word you know? Do you want me to stomp on your face and give you free plastic surgery?”

Qi Luo was startled. Although her current situation was painful and humiliating, given the force of his foot, if he stomped on her face, she would be truly disfigured.

”If you have the guts, let me go, and let’s fight a fair and square battle!”

”Do you have any shame? Didn’t I let you go back at the factory area? Did you challenge me fairly after that? Look at all the underhanded methods you used!” Zhang Yun looked at her with endless contempt. ”You exhausted every trick in the book and still couldn’t do anything to me. Aren’t you embarrassed?”

Qi Luo felt so ashamed she wished the ground would swallow her whole.

It was completely true!

She had held every advantage. When this guy approached her, assuming she was a helpless woman, she had practically smeared the knockout drug on his lips and shoved it right under his nose, yet he still hadn’t passed out. Finally, after she managed to tie him up, he miraculously disappeared!

”One last time! You can’t use whatever magic trick that was, and you have to fight me fair and square!” Looking at the blade in Zhang Yun’s hand and remembering the scene of him stabbing Liu Yandao to death, she shuddered and quickly added another condition. ”You can’t use a gun either! No knives, chairs, or any other weapons!”

Zhang Yun scoffed, ”Why don’t you just say you want me to fight bare-handed? Even when my hands and feet were tied by you earlier, you still didn’t have the skills to hurt me!”

”I’ll fight bare-handed too! It’ll be completely fair!”

”Heh! You’re currently pinned under my foot. What right do you have to make demands? On what basis are you trying to negotiate fairness with me?”

Qi Luo smiled coldly as well. ”You’re very impressive, and drugs don’t work on you. But what about the others? Do you know what kind of pills I forced those two to swallow? I can give you the antidote, or you can kill me and take them to the hospital to have their stomachs pumped and their blood tested. See if you’ll make it in time!”

Zhang Yun was slightly taken aback. So this was her trump card!

Qi Luo seeking revenge against him was merely settling a debt with the right person. Yang Xiaoyun and Feng Ru were just innocent bystanders, and he had assumed they were only knocked unconscious.

However, she had indeed used a knockout drug, and Zhang Yun couldn’t risk the possibility that she had actually poisoned them.
