The Fantastic Little Farmer

Chapter 178: Chapter 178: Don’t Forget to Buy a Few Boxes

”What are you doing? I’m just asking you to pay, not to wear it. What are you so nervous about?” Feng Ru said with a smile, pulling Yang Xiaoyun into the shop.

Yang Xiaoyun felt a little helpless, but she was also somewhat gratified.

Lingerie shops were different from high-end clothing brands; most styles only cost a few hundred yuan. Even if they bought four sets, it wouldn’t be ripping Zhang Yun off too much. She could also take one less set for herself, or send a red packet to Zhang Yun on WeChat afterward to cover the cost.

”Just show me the B cups. For her, just bring out the largest cup size you have in the store!”

Feng Ru’s words to the shop assistant earned her a playful punch from Yang Xiaoyun.

Zhang Yun walked behind them, his eyes fixed straight ahead, pretending not to hear. Did Yang Xiaoyun’s size even need to be mentioned? Even through her clothes, anyone could tell she was at least an E, F, or G cup.

Standard lingerie brands usually didn’t carry such large cup sizes. While they could be easily found in online flagship stores, brick-and-mortar stores carried much less stock, typically only keeping the basic, popular styles. That was why Feng Ru directly asked the assistant for their largest size.

Zhang Yun was too embarrassed to follow them around and browse, so he found a place to sit down.

However, Feng Ru soon circled back and whispered, ”Don’t say I’m setting you up; I’m actually helping you. Hurry up and go over there to help Sister Xiaoyun decide which color and style looks best.”

Zhang Yun couldn’t help but laugh awkwardly. He quickly whispered back, ”Me? What do I know about this?”

”What do you need to know? Just tell her what you like to see. When you get the chance to see it in the future, wouldn’t it kill the mood if it’s not a style you like?”

”...” Zhang Yun lowered his voice even more. ”What does it have to do with me?”

”Hypocrite! Are you telling me you’ve never thought about seeing Xiaoyun in lingerie?” Feng Ru gave him a half-smile.

Zhang Yun was very honest. ”I really haven’t. I’m not that kind of person...”

Feng Ru exaggeratedly exclaimed, ”Oh! So you want to see Xiaoyun without lingerie? I didn’t expect you to be that kind of person!”

”Keep your voice down, don’t let people hear.” Zhang Yun was utterly speechless. It was just getting worse the more he tried to explain, so he gave up defending himself.

”See, you admit it, right?”

Zhang Yun sighed helplessly. ”You guys go ahead and pick them out. I’ll just pay the bill later.”

”Hehe, are you shy? Then... when Sister Xiaoyun goes to try them on later, how about I take a picture and send it to you? Add me on WeChat?”

”No need, no need...” Zhang Yun coughed dryly and hurriedly walked toward the door.

Feng Ru wanted to push the matter further, but seeing that it was having the opposite effect, she dropped it.

Although it was just lingerie, their process of choosing and trying them on took longer than Zhang Yun buying several outfits earlier. In the end, Yang Xiaoyun and Feng Ru each bought a set. Together, it only came to a few hundred yuan; neither of them had any intention of ripping him off.

They assumed Zhang Yun had eaten with his friend and didn’t ask. Zhang Yun was too embarrassed to bring up grabbing food. Fortunately, he had eaten breakfast relatively late, so he wasn’t too hungry anyway.

After coming out and strolling around a bit more, they prepared to slowly walk back to the hotel. Although it wasn’t far, Yang Xiaoyun’s feet were still uncomfortable, so Zhang Yun naturally took them to the parking lot.

”Tsk, tsk. Being able to drive a BMW at your age, you’re doing pretty well for yourself, young man.” Feng Ru’s impression of Zhang Yun improved even more.

Zhang Yun smiled. ”It’s not mine, I borrowed it.”

With the cash he currently had on hand, buying a BMW wouldn’t be a problem, but this one really was borrowed.

Feng Ru didn’t believe him. He had traveled to another city—who would just casually lend him a car?

Originally, if Zhang Yun were alone, he would have entered the Peach Blossom Spring Space as soon as he got in the car and put his spare clothes inside. It was inconvenient with them around. When they returned to the garage at the Hilton, he didn’t bring the bags up, just tossing them in the trunk.

While waiting for the elevator, Feng Ru deliberately nudged Zhang Yun with her elbow and whispered with a smile, ”Did you forget to buy something?”

Zhang Yun thought about it. She must be talking about buying water. Hotels generally provided two free bottles of water, which definitely wouldn’t be enough for three people. ”Buy water? You guys go up first. I’ll go buy some and come back.”

”Condoms! Shouldn’t you buy a few boxes?”

Feng Ru spoke very quietly, but there were other guests around, causing Zhang Yun to flush red. He quickly pretended not to hear and walked away briskly.

Yang Xiaoyun also found it both amusing and exasperating. Although she had made a similar joke before, that was only inside the hotel room when it was just the two of them.

When Feng Ru and Yang Xiaoyun laughingly entered the elevator, a female guest waiting in the corner also got in. She didn’t press a floor button, seemingly going to the same floor as them.

When they reached their floor, the two of them stepped out and noticed that the female guest had also exited and was following right behind them. It wasn’t until they stopped in front of their room and saw that the female guest was still tailing them that they grew suspicious.

”What are you doing?” Feng Ru frowned.

The female guest shook her head. ”I’m Zhang Yun’s friend. Can I go in and wait for him?”

Feng Ru and Yang Xiaoyun’s expressions shifted slightly. They quickly exchanged a glance, both seeing a trace of surprise and worry in each other’s eyes.

Could it be a coincidence that she appeared at this moment, waiting until Zhang Yun walked away to approach them? She was obviously waiting on purpose. But could this really be a regular friend of Zhang Yun’s?

Anyone would think this was a girlfriend coming to catch him cheating! And as luck would have it, Feng Ru had been joking with Zhang Yun about buying condoms while waiting for the elevator. What would others think?

”Miss, let’s go inside first,” Yang Xiaoyun said with a forced smile.

She didn’t feel too guilty. After all, nothing had happened; they had only made a slight breakthrough, and Zhang Yun had controlled himself regarding everything else. Moreover, what happened that morning could be completely explained and justified.

Feng Ru also stayed silent. Making a scene in the hallway would be truly humiliating if someone saw them. People nowadays loved taking videos; if it got posted online, they would be doxxed.

”Sure, let’s go in and wait for Zhang Yun!” the female guest agreed immediately.

He Xiong was still in the room opposite them. Hearing their voices, he immediately went to the door to peek out. It wasn’t that he had a voyeuristic habit, but rather he wanted to see if Zhang Yun was there.

If Zhang Yun had already finished having his fun with two beauties, he’d probably be looking for a chance to rest, right? In that case, He Xiong could still try to convince Zhang Yun to attend the banquet with him.

But when he looked, good heavens! It wasn’t just two anymore; now there were three!

”Let’s go in and wait for Zhang Yun...” The new girl had said this, which meant she knew Zhang Yun’s real name. Could she just be a paid escort?

Listening to their seemingly familiar and harmonious interaction, it didn’t look like she was here to pick a fight and catch a cheater either. Besides envy, what else was there to say?

If it were just handling two women, He Xiong, who was only around thirty, wouldn’t have a problem either. But getting three to be so harmonious truly required charisma!

He Xiong no longer thought about inviting Zhang Yun. With another beauty arriving, Zhang Yun definitely wouldn’t want to leave the room from afternoon until night.

After a while, He Xiong left his room. Just as he reached the elevator, he bumped into Zhang Yun, who was returning with some water, drinks, and snacks.

”Brother Zhang Yun, I’m so envious. You’re amazing!”

Faced with He Xiong’s meaningful smile and thumbs-up, Zhang Yun laughed and scolded him, ”Stop thinking like a pervert! We’re completely pure!”

”You didn’t forget to buy a few boxes of condoms, did you? Don’t ask me to run errands for you later!” He Xiong teased again. He would have to use a fresh one for each person, right? A single box wouldn’t last long.

”Get lost!” Zhang Yun laughed and scolded.
