The Fantastic Little Farmer

Chapter 159: Chapter 159: Teaching Biology Class Again

Zhang Yun was startled. He had deliberately brought this up to change the subject and distract from his own improper mood, but he hadn’t expected her to have this kind of attitude!

”Haha! I’m just joking!” He hurriedly stood up. ”Move it around a bit and see if it feels any better.”

Zhang Yun secretly let out a sigh of relief. Although it was thrilling, he didn’t dare to play with fire.

His recent experiences had given him some insight. Whether it was Xiuxun or Ouyang Mingruo, after being saved, they easily became impulsive out of gratitude. Being in a desperate situation truly felt like facing death. When rescued in such a moment, one might genuinely be willing to do anything. It was partly a desire to repay the favor, but even more so, a psychological reliance and dependence.

Having to pay hundreds of thousands in compensation had been a source of absolute despair for Xiuxun. Last night’s incident had been a rescue from despair for Ouyang Mingruo. That was why she hadn’t minded lying in the same bed with Zhang Yun, and had he actually tried to do something, she might not have refused. Of course, once time passed and the situation changed, rationality would regain the upper hand, and then that might no longer be the case.

Yang Xiaoyun had just been beaten by Tang Zhiwei and his mistress—she had been in utter despair. She still hadn’t snapped out of that state yet, and coupled with a potential desire to take revenge on Tang Zhiwei...

”What are you thinking about?” Yang Xiaoyun looked up at him. Seeing his constantly shifting expressions, she guessed he was definitely experiencing an internal struggle.

Zhang Yun forced a dry laugh. ”N-nothing. I was just thinking that if it feels serious, you’ll have to go to the hospital.” He secretly took a deep breath, forcing himself to discard those thoughts. Why was he analyzing her psychology anyway? Was he really going to take advantage of her vulnerability?

”Do you know what I’m thinking about?” Yang Xiaoyun stared at him directly.

Zhang Yun felt a little embarrassed being stared at like that. He had a guess as to what she might be thinking, but he couldn’t say it aloud. If he was wrong, it would be awkward. And if he was right, he wouldn’t dare to take her up on it anyway. ”I have no idea. I’m going to go wash my hands!”

Yang Xiaoyun moved her foot and let out a soft hiss. ”It feels a bit better. Could you massage it for me again?”

”...No problem.” Zhang Yun had no choice but to crouch back down.

Yang Xiaoyun lay back on the bed and let out a long sigh. ”I’m so tired. I really want to sleep for a bit.”

Zhang Yun didn’t dare to respond. Did she want to sleep, or was she hinting that she wanted to sleep with him? However, there was one thing he was certain of. He had clearly pointed it out as a joke just now, but Yang Xiaoyun seemed to have forgotten about it. By lying down like this, she avoided eye contact with him, and if he wanted to peek, she wouldn’t even know. Was she treating him to some eye candy?

Zhang Yun didn’t have the mind for that right now. He simply continued to gently massage her injured ankle.

”I brought the two of them over yesterday, and they stayed here. I sent them back this morning... After this, I don’t know when I’ll be able to see them again.”

Hearing her mood dip, Zhang Yun could only offer some comfort. ”It’s alright. Just go see them when you have time during the holidays. Can he really forbid you from seeing them?”

”Tang Zhiwei’s parents are abroad. They’ve made the arrangements and are planning to send the two of them overseas to study...”

Zhang Yun was speechless. Then it truly wouldn’t be easy to meet, and over time, they would inevitably drift apart.

”Oh right, you saw that mistress too. What did you think of her?”

”Huh?” Zhang Yun didn’t know how to answer.

Lying flat and staring at the ceiling, Yang Xiaoyun didn’t have to look at Zhang Yun, which allowed her to speak more freely without any psychological burden. ”She’s younger and prettier than me, gentler and more considerate, better at dressing up, and has more class... You men must prefer her, right?”

Zhang Yun felt helpless. He couldn’t give a vague answer to this, so he could only brace himself and say something. ”She’s just a bit younger. You’re prettier and have more class, and dressing up is a subjective matter of aesthetics. As for being gentle and considerate... is there any gentleness or consideration in someone who curses at people and pulls hair like that?”

Yang Xiaoyun smiled bitterly. ”You’re just taking my side.”

Zhang Yun secretly rolled his eyes. He thought to himself that it was nonsense! Both affection and reason were on her side, and he would have to be crazy to speak up for some random two-faced homewrecker! ”Haha, I’m just telling the truth.”

”Alright, my foot is fine. You can go wash up now...”

”Oh!” Zhang Yun couldn’t help but feel that her words were a bit strange. Did she mean for him to take a shower? Shouldn’t she have told him to just go wash his hands? He wondered if she was hinting at something.

When Zhang Yun came out after washing the medicinal oil off his hands, he was as shocked as if he had been struck by a bolt of lightning! Yang Xiaoyun was lying under the quilt. The dress he had seen earlier was thrown onto the other bed, and all that could be seen outside the quilt were her bare shoulders and arms.

”Come here!”

”Sister Xiaoyun... stop teasing me,” Zhang Yun smiled wryly.

”I’m not teasing you. Come here! I need your comfort right now.” Yang Xiaoyun was also a little nervous, but Zhang Yun’s reaction forced her to keep a straight face and take the initiative.

Zhang Yun shrugged. ”No, you don’t need comfort; you need to let loose. But your current state is similar to being drunk—you feel more clear-headed than ever before, but in reality, you’re just in a different kind of chaotic state!”

”I’m very rational, and I’m very calm. Don’t worry! I won’t cling to you. I’m an adult, older than you, and I have the ability to take responsibility for my own actions.” Yang Xiaoyun beckoned him over.

Zhang Yun smiled wryly. ”If I refuse again, I won’t even seem like a man. My body can’t resist, but my rationality must. If I really did it, I’d be taking advantage of your vulnerability. Once your normal rationality returns, you definitely won’t be able to face me, and you’ll end up avoiding me.”

Yang Xiaoyun looked at him, her expression a little desolate. ”Do you despise me?”

Zhang Yun walked over calmly and sat on the edge of the bed. However, he pressed down on the quilt and held her hand. ”Don’t say that. You used to be the dream goddess of all the boys, and you can probably tell that I’m actually filled with desire right now. But... let’s put it this way. From the perspective of a virgin newbie like me, this sort of thing should be a joyful experience, not an emotional outlet or an act of revenge.”

Yang Xiaoyun smiled bitterly. She had been divorced for a while now, and Tang Zhiwei’s infidelity had started even longer ago. She didn’t even know how long it had been since she had last been intimate. If this wasn’t for venting and revenge, could it possibly be a sudden surge of high spirits?

”If you’re tired, just sleep for a bit. I don’t need you to repay me, and you won’t be taking revenge on anyone by doing this. I’m not trying to take advantage of this...”

Yang Xiaoyun rolled her eyes at him. ”You won’t even take an advantage when it’s handed to you. You deserve to be single! So what if I have a mindset of venting and revenge? Don’t you have the confidence to turn this into something that brings me joy?”

Zhang Yun smiled awkwardly. With his purely ”theoretical” experience in this field, he really didn’t have that confidence.

Yang Xiaoyun didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. ”Alright, I forgot you’re a novice. Then how about we treat it as me teaching you an introductory course on life? Or helping you review your biology lessons? That’s junior high biology content, right?”

Was she going to give him a hands-on demonstration of sex education? Zhang Yun’s heart rate spiked. He quickly let go of her hand and answered solemnly, ”No need, no need! I’ve watched plenty of instructional videos over the years!”

”Instructional videos?” Yang Xiaoyun was stunned for a moment before realizing what he meant. She pursed her lips into a smile. ”It seems you’ve become infatuated with the female teachers from the Island Nation!”

”...”

While he was lost in embarrassment, Yang Xiaoyun suddenly grabbed his hand. ”Feel my heartbeat...”
