Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 591: Chapter 634: Going to Save Them

Mu Beiting calmly instructed Pete, ”Pete, contact the airline, we need to head to Du City immediately!”

”Yes!” Pete nodded, took out his phone, and started contacting the airline.

”I want to go with you!” Ye Anxin put down the documents in her hand and looked at Mu Beiting resolutely.

Mu Beiting asked worriedly, ”Can your body handle it?”

Ye Anxin assured confidently, ”It’s fine! The baby is stable now, and besides, we’re traveling by car and plane, not walking by ourselves, it’s no problem!”

”Alright!” Mu Beiting nodded, stood up, walked to the wardrobe, and opened it to find two sets of clothes.

”I’ll go change!” Ye Anxin took one set and went into the bathroom.

Mu Beiting followed her inside, and soon, both came out after changing.

When they came out, Pete had already hung up the phone, ”Boss, it’s all arranged, we leave in three hours!”

Mu Beiting nodded, ”Okay! Go prepare the car!”

”Alright!” Pete left to carry out the order.

”Let’s tell Xiao Bai so he won’t worry!” Saying this, Mu Beiting took Ye Anxin’s hand and headed out toward the study.

At this time, Xiao Bai was in class. Hearing the door open, he looked up and saw Mu Beiting and Ye Anxin. He knew something must have happened; otherwise, both parents wouldn’t be here together!

Xiao Bai asked with concern, ”Mom and Dad, what happened?”

Ye Anxin walked over and said earnestly, ”Xiao Bai, be good and stay home. Your grandpa is in trouble, and your dad and I have to go to Du City immediately. We’ll be back by tomorrow night at the earliest, but we’re not sure how long it will take. You have to take care of yourself and listen to the butler, understand?”

Xiao Bai frowned and asked, ”What happened to grandpa? Why will you be gone so long?”

There was no concern for Nan Mingchuan in his eyes, only reluctance to be separated from his mom and dad.

”It’s a long story. Mom will tell you when we get back! Uncle Pete has already arranged with the airline, we must go to the airport now, or we’ll miss the flight! Be good, okay?” Ye Anxin didn’t dare to leave without Xiao Bai’s response.

No matter how mature and understanding Xiao Bai was in others’ eyes, in her heart, he was just a five-year-old child!

Xiao Bai nodded, and to keep Ye Anxin from worrying, he obediently said, ”I know, I’ll listen to the butler.”

”Good boy, follow Teacher Luo and study well. Mom will call you to assure you we’re safe when we get to Du City!” Ye Anxin ruffled Xiao Bai’s hair with satisfaction, waved goodbye reluctantly, and left the study with Mu Beiting.

Downstairs, Ye Anxin gave the butler serious instructions, ”Butler, we’ll be gone for a few days. Please take good care of Xiao Bai during this time! Also, if that Mo Xuehong woman comes to cause trouble, don’t let her in; I’m afraid she’d harm Xiao Bai!”

The butler nodded and promised, ”Madam, don’t worry! I’ll take good care of the young master! I will try not to let the young master go out before you and sir return, and I won’t let anyone else in!”

”Thank you for the trouble these days!” She nodded to the butler, then left with Mu Beiting.

Due to the urgency of their departure, they brought nothing but wallets and phones, heading straight to the airport and boarding a private jet to Du City.

After arriving in Du City, it was already evening. Mu Beiting did not go to the Nan Family immediately but checked into a five-star hotel with Ye Anxin and Pete for the night.

Ye Anxin asked puzzledly, ”Uncle, why aren’t we going now?”

Mu Beiting said seriously, ”It’s already late, and things can’t be resolved quickly. You’re pregnant and traveled for hours; you need to rest well! Otherwise, it might harm the baby!”

Ye Anxin said worriedly, ”But...!”

Mu Beiting interrupted her, ”No buts! The baby is most important! Besides, Nan Mingchuan won’t be in immediate danger! When morning comes, everything will go much smoother!”

”...!” Ye Anxin hesitated for a while but eventually nodded reluctantly for the sake of her baby!

Uncle is right, Dad is not in life-threatening danger for now, and she’s been exhausted all afternoon and needs a good rest, or she won’t hold up!

While rescuing her father, she absolutely cannot risk the baby inside her!

After weighing her options, she had to choose to rest and save her father in the morning!

After comforting Ye Anxin, Mu Beiting told Pete, ”Pete, get some rest. Remember to bring enough men tomorrow!”

”I understand!” Pete nodded, bid farewell to Mu Beiting and Ye Anxin, and turned away.

Once Pete left, Ye Anxin and Mu Beiting first took a bath! Just after finishing, dinner was delivered!

After dinner, Ye Anxin lay down to rest! Initially, she couldn’t fall asleep due to worrying about Nan Mingchuan, tossing and turning!

But after a while, maybe due to exhaustion, she fell asleep in a daze after some rolling around in bed!

Listening to her even breaths in his arms, Mu Beiting gently moved her aside, sat up slowly, and looked down at her sleeping face, his gaze softening!

In her sleep, Ye Anxin couldn’t feel Mu Beiting’s gentle gaze at all and continued to sleep soundly!

”Silly girl!” Mu Beiting couldn’t help but touch her smooth, tender cheeks, and the soft sensation gradually warmed his cold heart!

After watching Ye Anxin for a while at the bedside, Mu Beiting reluctantly got up and left to go to Pete’s room!

......

Early the next morning, Ye Anxin opened her sleepy eyes!

Upon waking, Mu Beiting was already up and taking care of morning hygiene in the bathroom!

Ye Anxin, supporting her big belly, got up from the bed with difficulty and walked to the bathroom door, watching Mu Beiting, who had just washed his face, and said in a hoarse voice, ”Uncle, why didn’t you wake me up?”

Mu Beiting put down the towel, walked up to Ye Anxin, and said softly, ”It’s alright, it’s still early! You can rest a bit more!”

Ye Anxin shook her head, ”No, I’m well-rested! Just wait for me, once I’m ready, I can go to the Nan Family with you!”

”Okay! I’ll go change clothes first!” Mu Beiting nodded, led Ye Anxin to the bathroom, and then went to change back into the clothes he wore yesterday.

Fortunately, it’s late autumn, so wearing the same clothes for two days wasn’t an issue!
