Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 563: Chapter 606: Struggle for Affection

”...!” Ye Anxin’s face blushed even more, her body feeling as if it was being steamed on fire, burning up feverishly.

Fearing that if this continued, she wouldn’t be able to hold it together, Ye Anxin hurriedly found an excuse, ”Uncle, my belly’s large, it will hurt the baby!”

”No problem, there are many ways!” Saying that, the hand around Ye Anxin’s waist pulled her even closer, his thin lips finding her red lips and kissing her forcefully.

Seeing Mu Beiting’s demeanor, although Ye Anxin truly didn’t want to, and wanted to push him away, she also knew, understanding his personality, that unless she satisfied him now, she wouldn’t be able to leave the bathroom; he would pester her endlessly until she agreed to compromise.

Rather than wasting time like that, it was better to satisfy him quickly, so she could get away and go find Xiao Bai!

Thinking of this, Ye Anxin clasped Mu Beiting’s head with both hands, pulling him away forcefully, discouraged, ”Alright, just this once, make it quick! Otherwise, wait until I’ve coaxed Xiao Bai to sleep and come back!”

”Okay! I promise you!” Saying so, before she could pull away, he kissed her lips again.

The temperature in the bathroom, stirred by Mu Beiting, grew higher and higher, the alternating moans and low panting sounds drowning out the rushing water noise.

No one knew how long it was before Ye Anxin finally emerged from the bathroom! At this moment, she was already exhausted, out of breath, not only unable to talk but even move, so Mu Beiting carried her out of the bathroom.

Being gently placed on the bed by Mu Beiting, Ye Anxin’s eyes were like silk, her cheeks flushed, she spoke breathlessly, ”Uncle, I won’t believe you anymore, you’re too deceitful!”

”...!” Mu Beiting stayed silent, lips tightly pursed, not answering Ye Anxin’s words, only gently covering her with a blanket.

”No need, I still have to tell a story to Xiao Bai!” Ye Anxin uncovered the blanket Mu Beiting had placed on her, retrieved the pajamas left on the bedside earlier, and put them on.

Mu Beiting slightly frowned, speaking with restrained glee, ”At this time, he’s already asleep!”

Ye Anxin paused her dressing, widened her eyes looking at Mu Beiting, noncommittally uttering, ”Uncle, you wouldn’t have done this on purpose, would you? You just didn’t want me to accompany Xiao Bai, so you deliberately dragged the time this late?”

Hearing this, Mu Beiting’s handsome face turned slightly red, his eyes revealing a hint of embarrassment from the exposed connivance.

Seeing his expression, Ye Anxin instantly became annoyed, angrily asking, ”Why? Could it be that you enjoy me losing credibility in front of Xiao Bai?”

Mu Beiting pouted, aggrievedly saying, ”He’s a man! I don’t like you sharing a bed with any other male!”

”...!” Listening to Mu Beiting’s words, Ye Anxin was speechless for a long time.

This... this logic!

Though Xiao Bai is a boy, thus an opposite gender! But he’s only five years old, yet her biological son, isn’t this okay? Does he even get jealous over his own child?

Ye Anxin couldn’t help but roll her eyes, making an effort to energize herself, swiftly dressed, headed towards the door.

Mu Beiting hurriedly asked, ”Where are you going?”

”To see Xiao Bai!” She casually threw a sentence, opened the door, and left without looking back.

When Ye Anxin lightly twisted the door handle to Xiao Bai’s room, the room was pitch black! Ye Anxin thought Xiao Bai was already asleep, and was about to leave after closing the door, when suddenly, a weak voice emerged from the darkness, ”Is it Mom?”

”You’re not asleep yet?” Hearing this, Ye Anxin paused, then walked in.

Xiao Bai sat up, saying somewhat aggrievedly, ”No! I waited for you for so long and you didn’t come, later I knocked on your door, there was no sound inside, I thought you were too tired, and fell asleep!”

Hearing this, Ye Anxin’s heart tinged with bitterness.

Xiao Bai must have thought she broke her promise, wouldn’t come tonight, felt heartbroken, couldn’t sleep, always waiting for her, hoping she would come!

Usually falling asleep by the latest at eight thirty, today Xiao Bai waited until ten!

The more she thought, the more Ye Anxin’s heart ached!

Poor Xiao Bai, though outwardly cold and arrogant, his inner self is immensely insecure, especially towards her, always paranoid and fearful that she would leave him!

Ye Anxin forced down the sourness in her heart, sitting on the bedside, embraced Xiao Bai’s head into her arms, gently stroking his hair, apologetically saying, ”Xiao Bai, I’m sorry, Mom was really just too tired earlier, accidentally fell asleep! When I woke up it was already this time, Mom was afraid you had already slept, so she came to check! Since you’re not asleep, shall Mom tell you a story to lull you to sleep?”

”Alright!” Xiao Bai nodded, obediently lying back in bed.

Ye Anxin lay down beside him, pulling him into her embrace, softly said, ”Xiao Bai, close your eyes, Mom will tell you a story, if you get sleepy, just fall asleep! Don’t worry about Mom leaving you, tomorrow I’m not going anywhere, I’ll be at home with you!”

”Okay!” Xiao Bai nodded obediently, closing his eyes.

”Long, long ago, in a mountain, there was a temple, in the temple lived an old monk and two little monks...!” Ye Anxin gently caressed his head, softly telling the story.

The story Ye Anxin was telling wasn’t long originally, but only halfway through, Xiao Bai fell asleep in her embrace!

Though he was asleep, Ye Anxin still finished the story! Only towards the end, fearing it would disturb Xiao Bai’s sleep, she made her voice softer and softer!

Until the story concluded, Xiao Bai was thoroughly asleep, after which she sighed softly, slowly withdrawing her arm from beneath his head.

Xiao Bai slept very quietly, with a subtle, gentle smile on his lips, seemingly very happy and fulfilled!

Children are like this, extremely easy to satisfy.

Ye Anxin sat by the bed, lightly stroked his sleeping face, carefully ensuring he wouldn’t wake before she stood up to leave.

Returning to the room, Mu Beiting was sitting on the bed, pouting, arms folded, leaning on the headboard, looking at her with an aggrieved expression.

Ye Anxin rubbed her tired temples, slowly walked over, and asked, ”Haven’t slept yet?”

Mu Beiting said aggrievedly, ”Without you, I can’t sleep!”

”Pff...!” Amused by his childish demeanor, Ye Anxin sat down beside him, helplessly said, ”Uncle, you see, I’m just one person, you want me to accompany you, Xiao Bai wants me to accompany him, when the baby in my belly is born, he’ll want me to accompany him! What am I supposed to do? Divide myself into three parts, one part for each of you, okay?”
