Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 433: Chapter 434: Emergency Situation

After Xiao Bai walked down the stairs, he glanced lightly at the man wearing sunglasses, habitually sat on Mu Beiting’s lap, and asked with great anticipation, ”Dad, is there news or photos of her again? I want to see!”

Mu Beiting glanced coldly at the man with sunglasses!

The man immediately shook his head tactfully, ”Young master, there is temporarily no news or photos of the madam. I just came to report some other matters to sir!”

”You’re lying! Quickly take out her photo! Or I’ll kick you out!” As he spoke, Xiao Bai’s face turned livid, and he reached out his hand towards the man.

The man hesitantly looked at Mu Beiting, and upon seeing Mu Beiting’s warning gaze, he quickly lowered his head and said with determination, ”Young master, I’m sorry, I have to leave now!” He said, and before Xiao Bai could respond, he lowered his head and left quickly.

Seeing the man with sunglasses flee in panic, Xiao Bai frowned, moved his gaze to Mu Beiting’s face, and asked unhappily, ”Dad, why won’t you let me see her photo?”

Mu Beiting patted Xiao Bai’s head and instead of answering, asked in return, ”Xiao Bai, do you want her to come back? To return to you and always be with you?”

”I do!” Xiao Bai’s eyes lit up, but then he remembered something, and his little face darkened again, ”But it’s been five years, she hasn’t come back, will she still return?”

Mu Beiting squinted his eyes slightly and solemnly vowed, ”She will! She definitely will!”

”Dad, promise me, let’s make a pinky swear!” Xiao Bai smiled faintly and held out his right pinky finger towards Mu Beiting.

Mu Beiting raised his eyebrows, pursed his lips, and hooked his pinky with his.

Han City

Since Su Yichen learned that Ye Anxin was pregnant, he couldn’t rest assured with her being alone at home, so every day after work, he would go to her house to buy groceries and personally cook meals for her!

Watching Su Yichen busy in the kitchen, not at all like a big CEO, Ye Anxin walked in, rolled up her sleeves, and wanted to join in.

Seeing her come in, Su Yichen gently pushed her out, ”You go out! The kitchen is dirty, and you’re pregnant now! Don’t come in, what if you slip on a wet floor and fall?”

Ye Anxin was pushed to the door and said awkwardly, ”I feel bad letting you cook for me every day! If others find out that the grand CEO of Tang Group cooks for me every day, I’d make all the women who admire you jealous!”

”I just like spoiling you! I’m willing to spoil you for a lifetime!” Su Yichen winked playfully at her, then turned back to continue busying himself in the kitchen.

Leaning against the kitchen door frame, Ye Anxin couldn’t help but smile as she watched Su Yichen busy.

Just then, the phone on the coffee table in the living room suddenly rang.

Ye Anxin walked over and glanced at the caller ID, seeing it was the housekeeper’s call, she quickly answered, eagerly asking, ”Housekeeper, did Mu Beiting go on another business trip? Can I see Xiao Bai again?”

The housekeeper on the other end was silent for a while before hoarsely, chokingly saying, ”Madam, I’m sorry, I didn’t take good care of the young master! Sir went on a business trip this morning, I was going to call you, but the young master fainted again! He hasn’t woken up until now!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Anxin’s heart jumped to her throat, ”Xiao Bai fainted again? What’s going on? Wasn’t his illness cured? How could he faint again?”

Sadly, the housekeeper said, ”We called the family doctor! He said the previous illness hasn’t completely healed, the virus is hiding deeply, this time, it might have been the air conditioning at night that triggered it! Initially, I didn’t want to call you to worry! But, the young master keeps calling for mom in his coma! I thought, the young master must be missing madam, so I had to call you!”

”Take good care of Xiao Bai, I’ll go over right away!” Saying this, Ye Anxin hung up the phone without any hesitation, immediately booked a plane ticket on her phone, and walked to the kitchen door, apologetically said to Su Yichen who was cooking, ”Professor Su, I’m sorry, the housekeeper just called suddenly and said Xiao Bai is ill! I’m very worried about Xiao Bai now, and I have to go see him immediately! I might not be able to have dinner today!”

Upon hearing this, Su Yichen turned around, worriedly saying, ”Is Xiao Bai alright? Didn’t they say he was cured last time? How come he’s ill again?”

Ye Anxin shook her head, sighed, ”I don’t know the details either! The housekeeper said, Xiao Bai keeps calling for mom! So, I have to rush there now! You can only eat dinner by yourself tonight!”

”I know you’re very worried about Xiao Bai now, and you won’t agree to stay and finish your meal before you go! In that case, I’ll take you to the airport! You can’t eat at home, you can buy something to eat at the airport to fill your stomach! Remember, there’s still a baby in your belly!” Saying this, Su Yichen took off his apron, washed his hands, and came out of the kitchen.

Ye Anxin hesitated, ”But, you haven’t eaten dinner yet?”

”If a pregnant woman like you hasn’t eaten, then how can I as a man care? Hurry up! If you don’t go now, you’ll miss the flight!” Saying this, before Ye Anxin could react, he took her hand and left together.

After the two went downstairs, Su Yichen led Ye Anxin to his sedan, opened the passenger seat’s door for her, and after she sat down, he returned to the driver’s seat, started the car, and headed towards the airport.

Afraid that Ye Anxin would be hungry all the way to Jin City, Su Yichen stopped the car at a fast food restaurant, quickly got a packed dinner for her, handed it to her upon getting back in, ”I know, with your personality, you won’t eat until you get to Jin City and see that Xiao Bai is okay! So eat now, I’ll drive and supervise you to eat! If you don’t finish, I’ll take a detour and won’t take you to the airport!”

”You...!” Ye Anxin was stunned, then sighed, opened the fast-food package, and ate flavorlessly.

She knew, Professor Su was doing this for her own good!

He seemed to know her better than herself! Although there’s food at the airport and meals on the plane!

But given the situation with Xiao Bai, she definitely wouldn’t be able to eat!

So he used this method to threaten her.

For his peace of mind and for the sake of the child in her belly, even though Ye Anxin had no appetite, she forced herself to finish the fast food.

Only after she finished eating the fast food, did Su Yichen nod in satisfaction.

An hour later, Su Yichen took Ye Anxin to the airport.

Su Yichen leaned over to unbuckle Ye Anxin’s seatbelt, just as he was about to unbuckle his own, Ye Anxin had already opened the car door and got out.
