Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 416: Chapter 417: Overnight Stay

Seeing Ye Anxin not saying anything, the butler continued, ”Madam, I can’t force you into anything, but I hope you’ll carefully consider what I just said. Just think about it for the child’s sake, hoping to give him a happy home! I’ll go ahead and arrange a room for you with the servants!” With that, he was about to turn and leave, but Ye Anxin grabbed his arm, ”No need, I’ll stay somewhere else! I think Mu Beiting wouldn’t welcome me staying here!”

The butler advised, ”Madam, it’s late now, and it’s halfway up the mountain. It’s dangerous to go down alone! Besides, didn’t you say you wanted to take care of the young master? Staying here would allow you to immediately know about the young master’s condition!”

With the butler’s persuasion, Ye Anxin hesitated for a moment and thought it over before reluctantly agreeing!

After all, the reason she set foot into this home she hadn’t returned to in five years was entirely because of her son! Now that her son’s condition hasn’t fully recovered, how could she leave at ease!

So, after some pondering, Ye Anxin chose to stay!

No matter what, her son comes first!

”Then I’ll have the servants prepare the guest room for you!” Seeing Ye Anxin finally agree to stay, the butler left cheerfully to make arrangements!

In a short while, the servants had cleaned the room!

The butler personally led Ye Anxin to the room!

As they stood by the doorway, Ye Anxin was stunned!

”Why... is it this room?” Ye Anxin pointed at the room, then glanced at the room next door!

Whether the butler did it intentionally or not, her room was right next to Mu Beiting’s!

There are so many guest rooms in the villa, why choose this one instead of any other?

The butler glanced inside the room, cluelessly saying, ”Is there something wrong with this room? The servants have cleaned it out for you, and the bed has been made. I assure you it’s spotless, there shouldn’t be any problems!”

Seeing that the butler and what she was concerned about seemed not to be on the same page, Ye Anxin could only sigh helplessly, saying nothing, and walked into the room.

Next to his room, so be it! Anyway, Mu Beiting will likely stay with Xiao Bai all night, he won’t be back to the room! She needn’t bother with him.

”Madam, rest early, if you need anything, just let me know!” The butler followed along with Ye Anxin, diligently throughout the whole day.

All this felt like it was five years ago, the home with the madam, was warmth.

Ye Anxin nodded, ”I understand! You should rest early as well! Have the doctor rest early too! Xiao Bai had an injection and took medicine, he shouldn’t wake up tonight!”

”Yes!” answered the butler, bidding Ye Anxin goodnight before exiting the room, conveniently closing the door for her.

Ye Anxin stood in this room so familiar yet unfamiliar, unable to resist walking around, checking out every detail of the room.

Actually, there’s really no difference between the guest rooms and the main room in this villa! Each room has a bathroom, a wardrobe, and a double bed! The walls are all painted with the simplest white paint.

The only difference is that the main room is slightly larger than the guest rooms, other than that, everything’s almost identical. Even the setup, style, and color of the wardrobes and beds are exactly the same.

Standing in this room, Ye Anxin felt like she was back in her own room! A particular sensation slowly spread in her heart.

Ye Anxin couldn’t help but touch the wardrobe, opening its doors to find it empty!

Then she touched the bedside, and then the bedside table, finally sitting on the bed.

”Sigh...!” After sitting for a while, Ye Anxin sighed heavily, seeing a neatly folded towel on the bed! After hesitating for a moment, she picked up the towel and entered the bathroom.

Due to the rush, almost all her luggage was left at the hotel!

Thus, after showering, Ye Anxin wrapped herself in the towel and cleaned her clothes, then hung them outside on the balcony!

It was summer, with high temperatures and thin clothes, barring any accidents like wind or rain, clothes could definitely dry in one night!

After bathing, Ye Anxin lay on the bed, dazing!

Thinking about her son’s illness, she couldn’t sleep at all! Yet, with Mu Beiting inside, she couldn’t go in and could only get anxious here.

So much time had passed, she wondered if the drip had finished? Wondered if his fever had completely subsided?

Anyway, now her mind was entirely filled with Xiao Bai’s pallid face lying in bed.

Ye Anxin stayed like this, thinking and thinking, not knowing how long she thought, and somehow fell asleep!

For some reason, as soon as she fell asleep, her sleep was restless, her whole dream filled with Xiao Bai’s cold gaze, and her telling Xiao Bai the truth, and Xiao Bai refusing to acknowledge her as his mom.

As the dream deepened, Ye Anxin was increasingly drenched with cold sweat.

But as this dream amplified, Ye Anxin grew more and more anxious, suddenly all went quiet!

All she felt was being enveloped by a warm and familiar scent.

In this familiar scent, her alienating heart gradually calmed, eventually sleeping soundly and sweetly.

Free from the demons’ entanglement, Ye Anxin slept until the next morning.

When the first beam of dawn shone through the window, Ye Anxin’s biological clock was instantly awakened.

Throughout the past five years, be it studying or teaching, she had always risen at seven in the morning punctually! Initially needing an alarm clock, but gradually, her biological clock adjusted itself, waking her up at seven! Unless something disrupted her sleep the night before, otherwise, she would certainly wake at seven in the morning.

Today was naturally no exception!

At seven in the morning, she opened her eyes directly!

Just like usual, the first thing upon awakening was to rub her eyes.

But as she moved her arm, she realized something seemed to be tying up her arm!

Ye Anxin was shocked, all sleepiness vanished instantly!

Where... where was she now? Was she kidnapped again?

Ye Anxin closed her eyes tightly, shook her head, slowly searching her memory!

No... she remembered clearly, she was sleeping in the guest room in Mu Beiting’s villa last night!

How could someone kidnap her?

If not kidnapping, then what?

Just as Ye Anxin was puzzled, a warm breath slowly descended from above her head.

This... is this someone breathing?

Realizing this, Ye Anxin’s eyes snapped wide open, she raised her head abruptly, and the first thing she saw was a pronounced jawline, then familiar facial features!

This... this person was Mu Beiting?
