Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 411: Chapter 412: Nowhere to Hide

Ye Anxin pouted and said disdainfully, ”Yan Qinghan, does this amuse you? It’s always the same trick, can’t you think of something else?”

Yan Qinghan raised an eyebrow proudly and said, ”A trick doesn’t mind being old or few, as long as it works!”

”Let me tell you, you’ve failed this time. Not only is the trick useless, it made me see through you. If you ever intend to manipulate me again, no way!” With that, she hung up the phone before Yan Qinghan could respond.

Listening to the busy tone on the phone, Yan Qinghan was momentarily stunned, then stood up and went to the hotel’s surveillance room.

The security guard in the surveillance room turned around when he heard footsteps, seeing a stranger, he quickly straightened his face and said seriously, ”Who are you? This is a restricted area in the hotel, outsiders cannot enter at will!”

Yan Qinghan strode over indifferently, ”I’m Yan Qinghan, I want to see something, bring it up for me!”

The security guard searched his mind carefully for the name Yan Qinghan, but couldn’t recall anyone with that name among the hotel higher-ups, ”Yan Qinghan? Who’s Yan Qinghan? Never heard of him! Get out quick!”

Yan Qinghan didn’t bother to argue with him, directly took out his phone and dialed a number!

After ringing twice, the phone was answered, and a fawning voice immediately came through, ”President Yan, what can I do for you?”

”I want to see the surveillance, I’m in the surveillance room now, the guard won’t let me, you talk to him!” With that, he handed the phone to the guard.

The guard stared at the phone in Yan Qinghan’s hand with vigilance, ”Who is it?”

”Your boss!” Yan Qinghan said blandly, then forcibly shoved the phone into the guard’s arms.

The guard stared blankly at the phone for two seconds, then put it to his ear, just said ”Hello,” when a series of rapid sounds echoed from the other side.

Whatever was said from the other side, the guard’s face changed dramatically, nodding furiously, and after hanging up the phone, his expression completely changed.

Smilingly returning the phone to Yan Qinghan, he said flatteringly, ”President Yan, I’m sorry, I didn’t recognize such a distinguished person like you from our hotel’s major shareholder! I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I’ll bring up the footage for you right away! What time would you like to see?”

Yan Qinghan sat in front of the large display screen, fingers gently tapping the table, speaking slowly, ”The video outside the presidential suite last night at ten o’clock!”

”Okay! I’ll bring it up for you right away!” The guard nodded and quickly sat at the console, pulling up the footage from ten o’clock last night for Yan Qinghan to watch.

Yan Qinghan rested his chin on one hand, eyes fixed on the display screen, watching for a while growing impatient, ”Can you fine-tune it to speed it up? Watching second by second like this, I’ll have sore from sitting!”

”Alright, I’ll fast forward for you!” The guard nodded, pressing the fast-forward button.

The fast-forward wasn’t overly fast, jumping a frame every few seconds instead!

Yan Qinghan watched from ten o’clock to ten-thirty without seeing Ye Anxin come out of the room!

Half an hour had passed, and with such a high dose of drugs, if she hadn’t come out in that time, surely she wouldn’t be able to!

Thinking of this, Yan Qinghan curled his lips smugly, then said, ”Alright, stop watching! Now show me the footage from past ten-thirty this morning!”

Yan Qinghan did a preliminary assessment in his mind, estimating that given the dose, they must not have slept all night, after doing it all night he didn’t believe Ye Anxin could just walk out! Unless Mu Beiting’s stamina was lacking!

Thus, starting from ten-thirty should be about right.

To save time, Yan Qinghan also had the guard fast forward!

Only, Mu Beiting’s stamina was stronger than he imagined, Yan Qinghan sat in front of the display screen until his backside hurt and still didn’t see Ye Anxin come out of Mu Beiting’s room.

”Could I really have been mistaken? Did the little sister-in-law leave last night?” Yan Qinghan pondered as he rubbed his head, just as he was about to give up and rewatch last night’s footage, he finally saw Ye Anxin sneakily walk out of Mu Beiting’s room, with a trash bag in her hand.

Seeing Ye Anxin come out, Yan Qinghan eagerly exclaimed, ”Pause!”

The guard hurriedly pressed pause.

Yan Qinghan leaned closer to the display screen, carefully watching Ye Anxin in the video for a good while, then glanced at the time in the lower right corner!

Twelve-thirty in the afternoon!

Yan Qinghan rested his chin on one hand, his elongated index finger gently stroking his smooth chin, ”Well done Mu Beiting, even more formidable than I thought! Actually continued until so late! Seems I’ve underestimated him, made me unnecessarily watch two extra hours of footage!”

Seeing Yan Qinghan stare at the video blankly without speaking, the guard quickly asked flatteringly, ”President Yan, would you like to see anything else?”

”Have the data of the video I just watched backed up properly! I might come back to annoy you someday!” Yan Qinghan left a casual comment, then stood up and left without looking back.

After leaving the surveillance room, Yan Qinghan didn’t go to find Mu Beiting, nor did he call Ye Anxin, he returned to his room, found a bottle of red wine, and slowly savored it while watching TV!

......

When Ye Anxin returned to Han City, it was already ten o’clock in the evening!

After arriving home, Ye Anxin put away her luggage, then went downstairs to the pharmacy to buy a bottle of medicine for bruises and an order of takeout.

After buying everything, sitting on the sofa at home, eating the takeout, Ye Anxin washed up, then applied the bruise medicine on herself.

As for today, she still has two days left of vacation, within these two days, she must get rid of all those marks on her body! Otherwise, when she goes to school and others see, they’d certainly speculate wildly, who knows what unpleasant rumors might spread by then!

After applying the medicine, Ye Anxin went to bed to rest!

First a whole night’s turmoil, then several hours of airplane travel, Ye Anxin was truly exhausted, and by the time she lay on the bed, it was already midnight!

She almost fell asleep the moment she hit the bed! Yet, that night, she slept fitfully, dreaming the same dream all night!

In the dream, she was pinned down by a man, continuously, it seemed, seeking from her!

Until she was exhausted, crying and begging for mercy, yet the man still wouldn’t let her go.

A stream of moonlight shone through the window, illuminating the man’s chiseled face!

Ye Anxin drowsily opened her eyes, and upon clearly seeing the man’s face, a chill ran through her, she screamed, and sat up abruptly in bed!
