Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

Half an hour later, on the top floor of the S.H.I.E.L.D. building, Steve Rogers leaned against the sofa and stared blankly at the one-eyed Black man in the corner of the room, who almost blended into the darkness. ”So you’re telling me everything that person said earlier was fake?”

”Yes. We were worried that after you woke up, you wouldn’t be able to accept reality and would develop psychological issues... and he proposed that plan.” Nick Fury walked out from the dark corner of the room after the curtains had been drawn shut.

”What is the truth?” Steve asked stiffly. He was already sick of asking that question. In fact, at this point, he no longer even cared about the truth.

”You won. We won too. But you slept beneath the Arctic glacier for seventy years.” Nick Fury walked over to Steve and held out one hand. ”Welcome to the new era, former hero.”

”Oh. I missed a date.” Steve nodded faintly, expressionless, ignoring the offered handshake.

”You can’t accept it?” Nick Fury’s hand hung in the air, and his brows furrowed slightly.

”What else could be harder to accept than Peggy turning into a green monster, the world being ruled by Hydra, and me living inside a virtual world?” Steve raised his head and smiled at Nick Fury. ”This level of shock really isn’t much.”

Although Peggy was already eighty or ninety years old now, at least she had lived a normal life. Steve felt regret, but he could only accept it.

”Looks like Orion’s plan was quite effective after all.”

Nick Fury smiled, turned around, took a can of iced coffee from the small freezer, and tossed it to Steve.

”I don’t like coffee.”

Steve caught the coffee, placed it on the table, and looked at Nick Fury. ”I only want to know where that person is now. I want to properly thank him.”

”Him? He went to find the green monster you mentioned.”

Nick Fury picked up the coffee Steve did not want, pulled open the tab, and drank it himself. ”And I advise you not to go looking for trouble with him. He’s much stronger than you in every way.”

”Hulk!”

”Roar!”

In the center of the city, a green humanoid monster and a gray, ferocious monster stood in the middle of the road, roaring at each other. The pedestrians around them had all abandoned their cars and fled, screaming as they scattered in every direction.

”Blonsky, you’re definitely going to face a court-martial!”

From the helicopter in the sky, General Ross shouted loudly at Abomination. This idiot had injected himself with untested Hulk serum in the middle of downtown New York for the sake of revenge, directly turning himself into a monster.

”Today next year will be your birthday, Ross!”

Abomination roared at the helicopter in the sky.

Ross: ”?”

”Looks like although Blonsky hasn’t lost his subjective consciousness like Bruce Banner, his intelligence has also dropped. Attempt capture!”

Seeing the soldiers on the aircraft laugh because of Abomination’s brain-dead words, General Ross glared at them and made his decision. If he could mistake the anniversary of someone’s death for their birthday, then this was clearly another brute with an intelligence of fifty.

”The pedestrians have almost evacuated. Open fire!”

General Ross glanced at the street below and gave the order to the soldier beside him. A missile shot straight toward Abomination.

”Hulk!”

Seeing that Abomination still had not moved, the Hulk roared and leaped over.

”Hulk!”

Hulk jumped into the air and directly intercepted the missile aimed at Abomination. After a pained roar that shook the city, he was blasted away.

”Thanks for that, Ross!”

Seeing this, Abomination revealed a savage smile. He lifted a car and threw it straight at the helicopter.

”Hurry! Dodge!”

General Ross shouted urgently. The helicopter was instantly swallowed by flames and plummeted in a straight line.

”Oh my God! Help!”

”Where is Iron Man? Hurry and save us!”

There were two rampaging monsters ahead, and the path behind had been cut off by the falling helicopter. The pedestrians shouted in despair. As for hiding inside buildings?

Bang! Bang! Bang!

”Hulk!”

”Roar! You coward!”

Abomination was pressing Hulk against a building and grinding him into it. More than half of the entire building had already been destroyed.

”Where is Iron Man? Why hasn’t he appeared?”

A pedestrian hiding behind a car looked at the earth-shaking battle in the distance and shouted loudly again.

”Stop shouting. He was summoned to court by those stupid military bastards today! He’s being put on trial right now!”

On the giant screen of a building that had not yet been destroyed, the confrontation between the military and Tony Stark was being broadcast live. On the screen, the military was seriously demanding that Tony Stark hand over the armor, claiming that they were fully capable of protecting the people’s safety.

”How shameless! Not only did the military fail to protect us, they’re trying to stop someone else from protecting us!”

”Wait, we don’t only have Iron Man. There’s another hero!”

Only then did the crowd remember that in the footage from the Middle East, apart from Iron Man, another person had appeared. That person had been regarded by the public as a fusion of a Kryptonian and Wonder Woman. But because he had not appeared for a long time and was not as good at showing off as Tony Stark, he had gradually been forgotten. Even now, the crowd had not decided what to call him.

”To be honest, I don’t know what title I should have either, but I hope you don’t give me a random one.”

Orion Cross listened to the discussions of the many pedestrians and spoke.

”Hm?”

”Huh?”

The originally panicked discussion suddenly fell silent. Everyone’s eyes turned toward Orion Cross, as if comparing his image with the one in their memories.

”He... he’s...”

A pedestrian pointed at Orion Cross in surprise but could not continue. There was nothing they could do. They did not know who Orion Cross was, and Orion Cross had just said not to randomly give him a nickname.

”Hulk. Abomination.”

Orion Cross felt the ground trembling and slowly walked toward the two figures fighting.

Because Hulk had taken a missile head-on at the start, and because he had injected himself with suppressive serum earlier, he had been pressed down and beaten by Abomination the entire time. This also caused their battlefield to keep retreating in one direction.

”No! Peter, our home is going to be destroyed!”

A young married woman hugged a little boy and watched in horror as the two monsters gradually approached.

Thud.

A figure descended from the sky and landed in the center of the intersection.

”Ahead is Queens. Stop here.”
