Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

”What is this? Magic? Jarvis, analyze this energy!”

Tony was like a salmon pinned to a chopping board, struggling with all his might to no avail.

”Apologies, sir. Analysis failed. There is no data on this energy in the database.”

”Oh, shit!”

Tony cursed under his breath, then took a deep breath. ”Girl, you’d better let me go right now so we can duel fairly. Otherwise, I’m going to use weapons.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the miniature missile launchers on the shoulders of the Iron Man suit popped out and aimed at Wanda.

”Come on! Kill me, just like you killed my parents!”

The scarlet energy in Wanda’s eyes grew even more violent. Under the control of her hands, her Chaos Magic forcibly pried the missiles that had popped out of the Iron Man suit’s shoulders right off. The missiles were moved into the air under her control, then crushed into powder by her magic. Not even the sound of an explosion came out.

”Kid, I really don’t want to kill anyone...”

Tony felt a headache coming on inside the armor. The angrier Wanda became, the more guilt he felt. Just as Orion Cross had said, Wanda and Pietro were only two among countless children who had lost their families. The only difference was that the siblings had met Orion Cross, giving them the ability to come here and vent their emotions.

Crack!

”Sir, unknown energy is stripping away the armor. Damage level at three percent.”

Jarvis’s warning snapped Tony back to his senses. Now was not the time to wallow in self-pity. If he did not quickly think of a way out, he might really be crushed like a cherry tomato.

”Damn it. I still can’t move!”

Tony fired his repulsors toward the ground twice, but he remained firmly imprisoned in midair by Chaos Magic.

”Jarvis, activate the villa’s fire suppression system!”

A large amount of water suddenly sprayed from the laboratory ceiling, instantly soaking Wanda, who was standing beneath it. It was in that brief moment of distraction that Tony finally broke free from Wanda’s magical restraint.

”Although anger and concentrated willpower can amplify your strength, they’re even more dangerous.”

Orion Cross tore open the packaging on a nearby cabinet, took out a brand-new towel, walked over, and helped Wanda wipe the water droplets from her head. ”Imagine if the person giving the order wasn’t Stark, and what sprayed down wasn’t water, but the artillery fire of a space battleship.”

”I understand.”

After hearing Orion Cross’s words, the dark-red glow in Wanda’s pupils gradually faded. On the other side, Skye successfully broke through the villa’s fire control system and shut off the room’s sprinklers.

”Everyone, my apologies. The information you gave me has led me to a new guess, so I’ll have to ask you all to rest there for a while.”

Tony hovered above the sea in the distance, using the suit to broadcast his voice through the speakers in the room.

”Jarvis, activate the infrasonic paralysis device. Lowest setting is enough. About five seconds.”

”Understood, sir. However, one of the intruders has a physique beyond that of an ordinary adult. The paralysis device may not work on him...”

”Then activate it immediately!”

Buzz.

In an instant, infrasonic waves beyond human hearing echoed through the room where Orion Cross and the others were. This was one of Stark’s former inventions. It had been banned from production for certain reasons, but one or two trial units had still been kept. Under the interference of the infrasonic waves, Skye suddenly could not move. Because her blood vessels and nerves had been paralyzed, terrifying blue veins became visible beneath her skin.

”Not bad. The old grudge hasn’t even been settled, and now you’ve made a new one.”

Seeing Skye collapse, Orion Cross summoned a mass of yellow sand at the broken opening in the villa and covered her entire body with it. ”Skye, remember to let him experience the infrasonic waves of a real earthquake someday.”

The yellow sand covered Skye, and magic isolated the transmission of the infrasonic waves. Beneath the sand, Skye quickly returned to normal. But she was now very confused. What did Orion Cross mean by what he had just said? Let Stark experience the infrasonic waves produced by a real earthquake? He said it as if she would be able to create earthquakes in the future. She was just a hacker, not Gaia.

”Not bad.”

Orion Cross turned his gaze to Wanda and found that she had used Chaos Magic to block the damage from the infrasonic waves, so he praised her. By then, the five seconds Stark had ordered had already passed.

”You want to run? Did you ask me first?”

Pietro, who had chased out earlier, had appeared below Tony at some point. He accelerated in place for a short distance, then fiercely threw the stone in his hand at Tony in the sky.

Bang!

Speed equaled power. The stone shattered instantly, but the force it carried sent Tony and his armor flying back toward the villa.

Wanda had just dispersed the defensive barrier she had tried using for the first time. Seeing Iron Man flying toward her, she could only immediately condense a mass of energy and smash it over. After being hit by Chaos Magic, Tony was sent flying back toward the beach together with his armor.

”Wanda, what are you doing? Are you trying to play beach volleyball?”

Pietro, who had just run back, saw this scene and helplessly scratched his head. He could only pick up another stone and chase after Tony, who had been sent flying again. Tony, struck by the stone, spun backward through the air once more.

Inside the armor, Tony was already dizzy and disoriented. He felt like everything in his stomach was about to churn out. This time, Wanda was ready.

”Sir, armor damage has reached thirty-one percent! Forty-five percent! Fifty-seven percent...”

The Iron Man suit was seized in midair by a mass of dark-red energy. Then, piece after piece of armor plating was pried open and stripped away. In the end, only Tony himself was left, and Wanda casually threw him to the ground.

”Pietro, I’m done. I’ll leave him to you.”

Wanda dispersed the energy in her hand, returned to Orion Cross’s side, and helped Skye up, who was still weak-legged because of the infrasonic waves.

”You should’ve said so earlier. I thought you wanted to play beach iron-ball with me. You made me waste an entire second.”

Pietro’s figure appeared at the doorway. As he complained, he walked toward Tony, who was still dizzy and trying to stand up.

Orion Cross glanced at the caller ID. It was Nick Fury, that charcoal-headed guy, again.

”...Why do I hear fighting on your end?”

Nick Fury had just been about to speak, but he suddenly changed the subject and asked.

”Oh, I’m filming a movie here.”

”A movie? What movie? You changed careers?”

On the other end of the phone, Nick Fury was completely baffled.

”The movie is called Avengers 2.5: Civil War. What do you think the box office will be like?”

Orion Cross looked at Tony Stark, who was being rapidly whipped by Pietro with a plush toy, and casually replied.
