Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

Late at night, Orion Cross sat on the beanbag chair in his bedroom, casually tossing a coin.

”Forget it. I won’t decide by flipping a coin.”

Orion Cross caught the coin and tossed it onto the table. Going to Piltover to trade for technology, or going to Ionia to cultivate ”Sage Mode.” Between these two options, there was naturally a matter of priority. Orion Cross had already been to Piltover once, so this time, he could go there directly. But he had never been to Ionia before. If he wanted to go there, he would have to summon Yuumi and use her Book of Thresholds to try again and again.

”Everything’s ready. Let’s go!”

After glancing at the blueprints in his storage space, which included several Earth-specific items like cell phones and computers that had already been eliminated from the market, Orion Cross snapped his fingers, and his figure instantly disappeared.

At dusk in Piltover, the wide, bright road had only a few scattered pedestrians, making it seem especially quiet.

”No! It’s that little girl again!”

A long, tangled, helpless cry came from the end of the quiet street.

”Professor Heimerdinger, she’s over there!”

A boy dressed like a student pointed at the top of a lamppost and shouted.

”My newly developed Hextech core!”

Heimerdinger raised his huge head and looked in that direction. A crazy girl with blue twin ponytails was parkouring across the lamppost while holding a transparent cylinder that emitted a ghostly blue glow.

”This thing belongs to me now!”

Jinx looked at the Hextech core in her hands, madness gleaming in her eyes. In a few quick moves, she installed the core onto her rocket launcher.

”Thank you for creating me, Jinx. You’re welcome, Mr. Sparkles!”

Jinx hugged the modified rocket launcher, muttering to herself as she jumped down onto the street and aimed it at the road.

”No! Get away! It’s dangerous!”

Seeing this, Heimerdinger and the students hurriedly shouted warnings at the pedestrians on the street.

”Let’s start today’s party!”

Jinx’s eyes lit up, and she pressed the switch.

Bang!

The rocket flew backward, making her freeze. Did she hold it the wrong way around?

Jinx turned her head and saw that her rocket launcher had blasted into a man, directly shredding his clothes into pieces. But strangely, the man did not seem injured at all.

”Damn, I get hit by a rocket launcher the moment I land? I almost got boxed right after dropping.”

Orion Cross speechlessly patted the debris off his body. This time was not a random teleportation. Since he had confirmed that his destination was the relatively peaceful Piltover, he had not deliberately defended himself. In the end, the moment he appeared, a rocket came flying straight at him, only ten centimeters away. By the time he reacted and defended himself, his clothes had already been blown to pieces.

”Uh-oh. Looks like we should run, Fishbones.”

After realizing Orion Cross was looking over, Jinx shrank her neck, hugged her rocket launcher, carefully moved two steps to the side, then suddenly dashed into an alley and ran away.

”Oh, young outsider, are you all right?”

Heimerdinger hurried over with his beard fluttering, waddling as he raised his head to observe Orion Cross.

”I’m fine. This thing belongs to you, right?”

Orion Cross picked up the new Hextech core from the ground and tossed it over.

”Yes. Thank you. Are you interested in having afternoon tea?”

Heimerdinger caught the core, handed it to the apprentice behind him, then turned to look at Orion Cross and asked.

”Of course. I happen to have a few special blueprints I’d like the famous Great Inventor to take a look at.”

Orion Cross naturally would not refuse. Although his original first target had been Camille’s family, if he could establish a connection with Heimerdinger, the gains might be even greater.

”Blueprints? I love innovative things the most. Come with me quickly!”

When he heard that Orion Cross had blueprints, Heimerdinger’s eyes immediately lit up. He pulled Orion Cross into a café by the roadside.

”Professor Heimerdinger, what would you and your guest like to order?” the waiter in the café asked respectfully as he stood to the side.

”Just bring whatever.”

Heimerdinger hopped onto the sofa so that his short height would allow him to see the tabletop.

”Very well. Please wait a moment.”

The waiter turned and left.

Orion Cross did not deliberately act mysterious either. His time was precious, only twelve hours, so he directly took out the blueprints of modern technology and spread them across the table.

”My heavens, this is pure technology, without even the slightest trace of magic?”

”The person who designed this must be a genius. How did he do it?”

”Oh, look at this. If this circuit were changed, then perhaps...”

After seeing the blueprints, Heimerdinger became completely immersed in them.

”Professor Heimerdinger, your coffee and desserts are here...”

The waiter came over carrying the order.

”Just put them aside. Don’t disturb me!”

”Stay farther away! Be careful not to stain these treasures!”

Heimerdinger cut the waiter off directly. Right now, the table was covered in blueprints, leaving no room for anything else.

Knock.

Orion Cross tapped the table and directly took back all the blueprints, throwing them into his storage space.

”Mr. Heimerdinger, shouldn’t we discuss the trade first?”

Orion Cross signaled for the waiter to bring the things over while speaking.

”Trade? What do you want? Do you want my latest invention? It’s the Hextech core from just now. It saves energy and can...”

”No. I just want you to design some simple things, without mixing in magic.”

Orion Cross explained the purpose of his trip, telling him about prosthetics, limb-assistance devices, and some ideas for derivative technologies.

”Human body modification? Those are all common technologies you can find everywhere. Even if you want me to redesign them, they’re still far from being worth those novel blueprints of yours.”

Heimerdinger kindly reminded him, then asked curiously, ”A nation that doesn’t use magic. Could you be from Demacia? But I remember technology doesn’t seem to be popular there.”

”I come from another dimension. Or rather, another world. You should be able to understand that, right?”

”Besides, the things on these blueprints are merely a batch of obsolete technologies from that world.”

Orion Cross did not hide anything. There was no need to hide it, so he said it directly.

”Another world. In theory, it is indeed possible... My heavens! What a precious treasure!”

Heimerdinger was endlessly amazed. As a science fanatic, looking at Orion Cross was like seeing a massive treasure trove.

Five minutes later, Heimerdinger borrowed paper and a pen from the café waiter and directly drew the structural blueprints and principles for the technologies Orion Cross needed on the spot. A modified super brain was truly terrifying.

”From today onward, you will be an honored guest of the Yordle Academy of Science and Progress!”

Heimerdinger took a golden card from his pocket and handed it to Orion Cross.
