Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

On the Arctic glacier, after Orion Cross left, Coulson gathered half of the agents and scientific researchers and headed to the center of the glacial crack.

”According to our speculation, Obadiah should have been eliminated here.”

”Send people down to investigate. Remember to be careful and watch your safety.”

Wrapped in a thick layer of thermal protective clothing, Coulson gave orders to the people around him. Watching the agents and researchers carefully descend into the deep pit using ropes, Coulson could not help feeling a headache. This was another mission Nick Fury had given him after agreeing to let him come ”receive” his idol, Captain America: investigate Orion Cross’s strength level.

On the surface, Orion Cross seemed to have never deliberately hidden anything, but in reality, there had not been many times when people had truly seen him display his strength. During the decisive battle against the Olympian gods, Nick Fury had seen the illusion, but he had also learned that as the divine system came to an end, the divine power on Orion Cross’s body had dissipated as well. As for the duel with Captain Marvel, Nick Fury had not been present at all. After that came the encounter with the giant sea beast in Runeterra, where Orion Cross had summoned the Star Forger Dragon King’s spark attack. But after Coulson reported it, Nick Fury concluded that Orion Cross could probably only use similar moves in that world.

Then came now.

In the media reports, the appearance of Iron Man was still barely acceptable, but Orion Cross’s existence had directly been exaggerated into a Superman who had walked out of a comic book. After all, the takeoff posture of Orion Cross’s Great Wasteland Starfall was almost exactly the same as Superman’s flying pose.

”When he is good, he is a reliable ally. But if he falls after becoming invincible in this world, who can stop him?”

Those were the words Nick Fury had said to Coulson. Perhaps this was why, in the original timeline, Nick Fury had experienced multiple crises yet never summoned Captain Marvel. Even though Carol had always acted upright, as long as she possessed that level of power, Nick Fury could not put his mind at ease.

Of course, Nick Fury had actually said something else afterward.

”Once we know his approximate strength level, we can also determine what attitude we should take toward him. Even if he really falls in the future, at least we’ll die knowing why.”

When Coulson heard that sentence from Nick Fury, he instantly understood why Nick Fury was the one who could become Director.

”Report! Report!”

Static crackled.

The call from the walkie-talkie snapped Coulson back to his senses. He immediately took the walkie-talkie from his waist and brought it to his mouth. ”Did you find anything?”

”It’s incredible!”

”This is simply a masterpiece of nature!”

”Agent Coulson, was this really caused by a human?”

The amazed voices of the scientific researchers came from the other end of the walkie-talkie.

”What exactly did you find? Report immediately!”

Coulson’s curiosity was stirred by the words coming from the walkie-talkie, and he asked loudly.

”Reporting, sir. No special energy was detected at the bottom. According to the researchers’ analysis, this is more like the result of a natural disaster.”

An agent’s voice came from the other end of the walkie-talkie.

”Continue investigating! Also check whether there are any human cells.”

Coulson did not know whether to laugh or cry. A natural disaster? Go find him a natural disaster in Earth’s history that could create this kind of terrain.

Ten minutes later.

”Reporting, sir. Still no special energy reaction detected, and no human cells were detected either.”

”Then pack up and return.”

Coulson looked somewhat disappointed. This meant they had wasted so much time for nothing.

”Wait, sir. Based on my speculation, it’s possible that the user can control natural disasters and completely annihilated all of Obadiah’s cells.”

The voice on the other end of the walkie-talkie suddenly changed into a woman’s voice.

”Agent Simmons, your speculation has a certain logic to it. I’ll record it.”

Coulson froze for a moment after hearing the voice, then thought for a while and felt that it could indeed be used as a reference option. Jemma Simmons, a Level Five agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., specialized in biochemistry and loved science to the extreme. She was one of the members of Coulson’s team.

”Looks like I really did fall into a misconception. Common sense bound me.”

Coulson recorded Jemma’s speculation with a pencil, then looked at the deep pit and muttered to himself. He already knew Orion Cross could even travel through multiple dimensions, yet he was still applying ordinary human logic to him. Was that not the greatest joke in the world? But the problem was that something like common sense could not be changed so easily.

”From now on, let someone else go find him. In any case, didn’t he say he’s allergic to bald men?”

Coulson touched his increasingly sparse hair and muttered.

Queens, Orion Cross’s home.

”Speaking of which, why does the barbecue restaurant have to be called this?”

Susan held the results of an entire day of work and looked at Orion Cross, who was eating steak, in confusion.

”What name?”

Skye and Wanda leaned over to take a look.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Barbecue.

Skye: ”...”

”Are you sure there’s no problem calling it this?”

Skye knew very well that S.H.I.E.L.D. was the abbreviation of the spy organization she technically belonged to.

”What problem could there be?”

Orion Cross took a sip of water and said, ”Aren’t they always calling themselves the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division anyway?”

”Besides, Susan and Raven successfully registered it, which means the name S.H.I.E.L.D. Barbecue is reasonable and legal.”

”That does seem to make sense.”

Skye nodded in a daze and only felt that Orion Cross was really impressive. As a super hacker, what she feared most in ordinary times was provoking this country’s special agencies. Yet Orion Cross not only had no concerns at all, he even deliberately touched porcelain with them.

The abbreviation S.H.I.E.L.D. had actually existed for a long time, but it had never been formalized. In reality, as long as it was not an especially formal occasion, the agents would usually call themselves S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, and Nick Fury had also been considering whether to directly use the abbreviation from now on. Now things were great. In the future, when S.H.I.E.L.D. agents went on missions and took out their credentials, people would immediately exclaim, ”You sell barbecue?”

Just imagining that scene felt wonderful.

”By the way, you two are already familiar with the process, right?”

Orion Cross suddenly turned to look at Susan and Raven.

”Yes... Why?”

”There’s something I need your help with.”

Orion Cross smiled at the two of them and handed them his business plan for the group named ”Ragnarok.” Tony had indeed promised to send personnel over to provide support, but if he could let people he trusted hold important positions, why not?

”So our barbecue restaurant has only been open for one day?”

Susan looked at the business plan and immediately did not know whether to laugh or cry.

”No. You can be hands-off bosses and collect some pocket money every month.”

Orion Cross smiled and shook his head.
