Marvel: Odin Imprisoned Me with Hela

”Yeah. The future should have already changed. It’s time for me to go back too.”

Wolverine’s voice gradually weakened. As the future changed and the Sentinels no longer appeared, Shadowcat would no longer maintain his consciousness. Very soon, he would return to his body in the original timeline.

Thud.

Wolverine fell headfirst onto the ground.

”Are you okay?”

Pietro was startled and hurriedly flashed over to support Wolverine.

”Uh...”

Wolverine shook his head, raised it, and looked at the others in confusion. ”Who are you? Why am I here?”

”Okay, looks like he went back. We should leave too.”

Orion Cross snapped his fingers. ”All right, everyone stand beside me.”

Hearing this, Wanda and Raven stood on Orion Cross’s left and right.

”Can you stand?”

Pietro carefully let go of Wolverine and stood behind Orion Cross.

”Aren’t you going to say goodbye to them?”

Charles raised an eyebrow at the confused Wolverine.

”Go fuck yourself!”

When Wolverine saw Charles’s somewhat familiar face, he cursed, then turned and left.

The future Wolverine had already returned. The one here now was just someone who did not know them at all.

”Oh, right. Stay alive and develop your abilities. Maybe one day, when I run into trouble, I’ll need your help too.”

Orion Cross thought of something and said this to Charles and Magneto before leaving.

Thanos himself was not actually that terrifying. If Orion Cross developed slowly, there were many ways to defeat him. The problem was that Thanos was not some lone hero.

Even if all the superheroes of the main universe gathered together, before a large-scale army invasion, they would still be nothing more than a drop in the bucket.

Since that was the case, Orion Cross had a very simple plan.

What should he do if he could not beat them?

Call for backup.

After all, Orion Cross had extradimensional magic. As long as he had the coordinates, he could communicate with countless dimensions.

When Thanos arrived, Orion Cross could make one phone call, and hundreds of powerful beings from various dimensions would start dancing on his spaceship. Would that not be beautiful?

”Your world will also have serious trouble?”

Charles asked with a smile.

”Very serious trouble. I’ll explain the details later. Goodbye.”

Orion Cross naturally would not mention Thanos to them right now.

In the end, the reason Thanos snapped his fingers was that the universe had limited resources while the population kept growing.

If Thanos found out that aside from eliminating half the population, plundering resources from other universes could also solve the problem, he might immediately change his target.

Unfortunately, the only one who knew extradimensional magic was Orion Cross. And to Orion Cross, all dimensions were his pastures. He would never rob the eggs from one basket and place them in another for Thanos’s sake.

Starlight flashed.

Orion Cross disappeared from that world with Mystique, Wanda, and Pietro, as if they had never been there at all.

But the memory Orion Cross left behind in that world today would absolutely keep the nations of the world from sleeping peacefully for the next hundred years.

”Prepare for danger in times of peace, Charles. Are you still going to keep injecting that serum of yours?”

After Orion Cross’s group left, Magneto looked at Charles and asked.

”No.”

Charles supported himself on a chair and slowly sat down, taking a deep breath.

There were still unknown threats in the future. He could not give up the ability that could save everything just so he could walk.

”By the way, did we forget something?”

Magneto looked at the city outside, which was covered in yellow sand, and asked in confusion.

”I don’t know.”

Charles froze for a moment, then shook his head.

Down in the square, Hank McCoy, who was tied to the fountain and eating sandstorm, said, ”What the fuck...”

[Completed Mystique Series Mission: The Source of the Sentinels: Make Mystique completely disappear and thoroughly resolve the future threat to mutants.]

[Mission reward obtained: Shapeshifter: Neeko’s Aid.]

[Additional mission reward obtained: World Traversal Talisman.]

[Hidden condition completed. Mystique’s favorability is greater than 70%. Special reward obtained: Whispers of the Old God.]

The moment Orion Cross returned to the original world, he instantly completed a long string of missions.

What surprised him a little was that aside from the double reward from completing Mystique’s mission, there was actually a hidden mission as well.

To be honest, Orion Cross had only just learned that his idiotic mission system actually had hidden missions.

Did that mean he had lost out on a hundred million before?

The hidden mission rewards for Captain Marvel and Hela should definitely have been better than Mystique’s reward, right?

Beep, beep, beep.

Just as Orion Cross finished checking the missions, before he could even receive the rewards, his phone rang.

”Nick Fury? Did this guy install a monitor or something? His timing is way too accurate.”

Orion Cross glanced at the caller ID and immediately felt speechless. He answered the call. ”Hello? You’d better not tell me you installed surveillance on my phone.”
