Not Being a Trainer This Time

Previously, there hadn’t been much opportunity, and Naoki felt a sense of guilt towards his Cyclizar.

Now, with the Dragon Power, he began to help Cyclizar grow.

Although the principles behind Dragon Power were unclear, it was certain that this power had a significant effect on Dragon-type Pokemon.

If this continues, then one day, Dragon-type Pokemon raised with Dragon Power could break through to Elite or even Champion level strength.

Besides accelerating the growth of Dragon-type Pokemon, Dragon Power also had the effect of connecting minds with Dragon-type Pokemon.

In the anime, Iris had used this power to communicate with Dragon-type Pokemon over distances.

Therefore, when Naoki felt guilty, Cyclizar instantly sensed it.

”Grrr...”

Cyclizar suddenly felt an urge to cry.

So, Naoki had never ignored it after all?

Naoki also felt Cyclizar’s emotions, and he patted Cyclizar’s head, smiling and encouraging it:

”Believe in yourself. One day, you can become even stronger than Koraidon!”

Cyclizar was instantly filled with enthusiasm: ”Grrr!”

Then it eagerly licked Naoki’s hand with its wet, big tongue.

Naoki: ”...”

Not far away, Koraidon, who was enjoying a leisurely afternoon on the grass, suddenly felt like someone was talking about it behind its back.

It sneezed and opened its eyes in confusion.

”Ah, grr?”

Then, Koraidon saw a pure black stretch limousine drive into the ranch.

Naoki also noticed the car.

The Eevees around him also paused, casting curious glances that way.

Huh? Who could it be?

The answer came the next second.

The car door opened, and the excited Nemona jumped out.

From afar, Naoki heard Nemona’s voice: ”Mr. Naoki! I came to the ranch for a trial again!”

Then, the front door of the car also opened.

Nemona’s father, Nikar, and an elegantly dressed old butler stepped out from the front.

”Long time no see, Naoki!” Nikar smiled and walked over with something in hand.

”Mr. Nikar, what brings you here?” Naoki was quite surprised. He could understand Nemona coming over, considering how much she loved Pokemon battles.

”I have something very important to discuss with you,” Nikar replied.

”Wow!” At this moment, Nemona also noticed the many additional Pokemon in the ranch, and her eyes lit up: ”Eevee, so many Eevees!”

Gholdengo and Ogerpon ran over together.

Nemona’s gaze, which was originally on the Eevees, was immediately attracted by them: ”And Ogerpon! Eh? What’s that golden Pokemon?”

”Dragonite! Mr. Naoki, you’ve caught other Dragonites again!”

Naoki smiled slightly; he completely understood Nemona’s feelings.

After all, in this world, no child could resist so many rare Pokemon.

Therefore, he called over Pawmot and said to it: ”Pawmot, take Nemona to tour the ranch.”

Pawmot looked at Nemona, remembering this human child.

”Pawmot!” Pawmot patted its chest, then led Nemona to explore other parts of the ranch.

”Great!” Nemona was completely excited.

Seeing his daughter’s look, Nikar appeared helpless: ”Nemona can be so rude sometimes.”

Naoki shook his head with a smile: ”The first time she came to the ranch, she was very polite. Now, it’s probably because she’s getting more familiar with me!”

”Hahaha!” Nikar laughed heartily: ”It seems Nemona really likes you!”

Naoki smiled and then shifted to the main topic: ”Mr. Nikar, what brings you to my place today?”

Hearing this, Nikar grinned and handed Naoki the small box he was holding: ”Open it and see!”

Naoki reached out to take it, noticing the logo of Rotom Technology Company printed on the box, and felt a slight flutter in his heart.

Could it be what he thought it was?

Naoki opened the box, revealing a Rotom Phone designed like Fuecoco, quietly lying inside.

It’s a Rotom Phone!

Naoki’s eyes lit up: ”Has the development been successful?”

Nikar nodded with a smile: ”Yes, that’s right! After several months of research by our company’s scientists, we’ve finally created the Rotom Phone you envisioned!”

”The phone in your hand is part of the first batch of Rotom Phones. We plan to officially release them to the public by the end of this year. I have a hunch that a new era is about to dawn!” Nikar was filled with excitement.

Naoki took the Rotom Phone out of the box.

Since he had drawn the blueprints for Phone Rotom, Naoki was very familiar with the phone’s structure and buttons.

So far, it seemed Nikar hadn’t changed anything about it.

Naoki pressed a button, and the next moment, the screen lit up.

He unlocked the phone with his finger and saw several simple apps distributed on the home screen.

Naoki counted and discovered that it included five apps: Maps, Messaging, Phone, Camera, and Pokedex.

He tapped on the Pokedex app with his finger.

The next second, Naoki saw the Pokemon species currently discovered in the Paldea Region.

”These are the basic apps we’ve developed so far. Various network companies have already learned about the upcoming release of the latest Rotom Phones, and they’ve started developing more apps for the phone’s system,” Nikar explained.
