Naoki immediately called over the Dragonair that hadn’t returned to Dragonite Island yet and served them portions of Paldea Seafood Rice from the pot.

The Dragonair gazed eagerly at the dish infused with the essence of the sea, their eyes sparkling with delight.

Wiggling their big noses, they leaned in to take a sniff, then happily opened their mouths wide, gobbling up a shrimp with gusto.

”Woo!”

Delicious!

At the nearby table, Koraidon and Ogerpon were also starting to enjoy this novel dinner.

A big bowl brimming with Paldea Seafood Rice, it was filled with the taste of happiness, bringing a deep sense of satisfaction both in taste and appearance.

Especially Dragonite, who, after tasting the seafood rice, immediately picked up its plate and gulped it down heartily, licking the plate clean in its entirety.

The rest of the Pokemon were eating with great joy as well.

Naoki watched this scene with a cheerful smile; this is the true meaning of cooking!

He turned to the few Dragonair in front of him and said:

”Wait for it, tomorrow morning I’ll take you to a new place for special training!”

”Woo?” The Dragonair were full of curiosity.

But Naoki deliberately kept it a mystery: ”You’ll know when the time comes.”

The next morning, after Naoki watched Calyrex catalyze the World Tree in its entirety, he set about making Paldea Seafood Rice for the Dragonair.

This dish can greatly enhance the results of special training in the sea, but the effects only last for three hours.

So before heading to the Porto Marinada Town beach, he had to prepare enough Paldea Seafood Rice in advance.

Upon hearing Naoki’s plan to take them to another place for special training, the five Dragonair gathered around Naoki early in the morning.

”We’re about to set off!”

Naoki packed the seafood rice into boxes and brought along a fishing rod and a small bucket for fish.

When the Dragonair were training in the sea, he couldn’t just stand there idly.

So Naoki planned to fish by the sea, and by the way, test the effects of Paldea Seafood Rice on humans.

This time, the trainer for the Dragonair’s special training was switched from Koraidon to Dragonite by Naoki.

Because Dragonite can create hurricanes, gathering up whirlpools in the sea to help Dragonair with their special training.

After packing up all the things needed, Naoki mounted Koraidon, ready to set off with the Dragonair and Dragonite.

However, before Koraidon could take off, the Eevee playing in the ranch saw Naoki getting ready to leave and surrounded him eagerly.

”Eevee! Eevee!”

Looking at the Eevee surrounding him, Naoki said to them: ”I’m going out to the seaside to help the Dragonair train.”

”Eevee, Eevee!”

”You all want to come too?” Naoki asked.

The Eevee nodded enthusiastically.

Considering this group of Eevee hadn’t left the ranch since hatching, Naoki’s heart softened, and he nodded:

”Alright then, we’ll all go to the beach together, but you mustn’t wander off, and be good, okay?”

”Eevee!”

”Alright, come aboard!” Naoki patted Koraidon’s back.

The little Eevee quickly jumped aboard, and soon, Naoki was covered in Eevee.

”Hold on tight, we’re setting off!”

Naoki stretched out his arms to protect the Eevee in his embrace, glanced at the Dragonite and Dragonair nearby.

”Ah-ga-sse!” Koraidon responded with a sound.

The Pokemon around him flapped their wings and flew towards Porto Marinada Town’s beach with Naoki.

About three minutes later, the group successfully arrived at the beach.

Naoki turned to survey the surroundings.

The daytime beach wasn’t crowded, with only a few scattered fishermen holding fishing rods, sitting by the sea.

The last time he came here was for the summer fireworks festival with Ogerpon and the others.

Koraidon landed on the beach, and a group of Eevee jumped off Naoki, gazing curiously at the shimmering sea and the golden sand.

It was the first time they’d seen such a sight.

Naoki took a small folding stool and collapsible fishing rod from his backpack, looked towards Koraidon, Glaceon, and Umbreon, and said to the three Pokemon:

”Take care of these Eevee, let them play with the sand on the beach, and make sure they don’t fall into the water.”

”Eevee ~”

”Ah-ga-sse!”

The Pokemon responded one by one, and then led the Eevee to build sand sculptures on the beach behind Naoki.

Next, Naoki took the reheated Paldea Seafood Rice from his backpack and fed it to the Dragonair.

”Dragonite, I’ll leave them to you, take them to the sea and use your power to create whirlpools for them to train in.”

”Awooo!” Dragonite patted its belly as if to assure the duty rested with it!

So, after the Dragonair finished the seafood rice, Dragonite led them out to the sea.

They stopped at a distance from the shore, then dove into the sea with a splash.

Sunshine, sand, sea; occasionally the call of Wingull could be heard in the distance.

Naoki cast the fishing rod towards the sea, quietly waiting for a bite.

Behind him, the Eevee played and chased each other on the beach. Naoki squinted his eyes, reveling in the serene fishing moment.

Suddenly, the float bobbing on the sea surface moved.

A fish was biting!

Naoki jerked the fishing rod, and with an arc across the sky, a Fish-type Pokemon with a white body and wave-shaped yellow stripes was pulled from the water.
