Not Being a Trainer This Time

After a brief moment of thought, he made up his mind.

Naoki got up and went to the ranch to find the elder Dragonite, asking if he could use this precious Outrage for another purpose.

The elder Dragonite nodded. Since it had already been given away, it belonged to Naoki now, and he could use it however he wished.

Having received the elder Dragonite’s consent, Naoki returned to the house.

He initially intended to use a blender to grind the Dragon Scale into powder as he had done before, but the hardness of Dragonite’s Outrage exceeded his expectations.

Thus, Naoki had no choice but to ask Calyrex for assistance.

In the end, Calyrex used an extremely compressed Psychic power to shatter the Outrage into powder.

Naoki did not light a fire but used this Dragon Scale Powder and black tea to brew a cup of tea.

Soon, a cup of tea with a peculiar fragrance was completed.

Naoki looked down, and the information of this special tea appeared in his mind.

[Dragon Scale Fragrance (S+): A special tea brewed using an Outrage filled with the trust of Dragon-type Pokemon and quality black tea. It is said that the drinker will gain the friendship of dragon-type Pokemon.

Cooking Effect: Dragon Power. After drinking, the drinker will acquire a special ability, Dragon Power, effective only on humans.

Dragon Power: Greatly increases affinity with Dragon Type Pokemon, making it easier to capture Dragon Type Pokemon; can expend power to accelerate the growth of Dragon Type Pokemon, helping them become stronger.

Evaluation: It is said that only those deeply trusted by Dragon Type Pokemon can obtain this ability. Those with Dragon Power can form bonds of friendship with all Dragon Type Pokemon.]

Looking at the cup of tea in front of him, Naoki’s hand trembled.

Dragon Power... Isn’t this possessed by the Dragon Taming Clan?

Moreover, even within the Dragon Taming Clan, not everyone can awaken this power. Its existence is exceedingly rare.

Those who possess this power are natural Dragon Elites.

In that instant, Naoki thought of the Dragon Taming Clan in the Johto Region, thought of Lance, and then thought of himself and the ranch’s dragon-type Pokemon.

Who is the true Dragon Taming Clan after all?

The ranch’s dragon-type Pokemon didn’t consist solely of Dragonite.

Besides them, there were also Koraidon and Cyclizar.

This thing has great utility!

Naoki picked up the cup, and without worrying whether drinking tea brewed from Dragonite scale powder would harm his stomach, he directly raised the cup and drank the tea in one gulp.

Along with the tea entering his stomach, Naoki immediately felt a clear surge of energy in his body, which he could control with his mind.

Without a doubt, that was Dragon Power.

Naoki stood up and ran outside, immediately finding the elder Dragonite.

The elder Dragonite also looked at Naoki, and for some reason, it suddenly felt an increased sense of closeness.

Not only that, but the surrounding Dragonair and Dragonite all felt it too.

A group of Dragon-type Pokemon curiously gathered around.

Naoki smiled at them and then extended his hand towards the elder Dragonite, placing it on its scarred face, under its slightly confused gaze.

Dragon Power, activate!

The future foreseen by Calyrex began to unfold at this moment.

Seeing Naoki’s action, the elder Dragonite was taken aback, but soon, it felt a soothing and wondrous energy flowing into its body.

This sensation made the elder Dragonite feel unprecedentedly comfortable.

It instinctively closed its eyes, displaying a rather satisfied expression, carefully savoring the power within its body.

Its body started to heat up... Strength was continuously pouring in...

Naoki poured all of his Dragon Power into the elder Dragonite.

Afterwards, he checked his physical state and found that apart from feeling the clear depletion of Dragon Power, there was no discomfort.

The consumed Dragon Power would gradually recover automatically, somewhat similar to mana in JRPGs.

Naoki looked at the elder Dragonite with a smile and asked, ”How do you feel?”

The elder Dragonite’s gaze toward Naoki began to turn fervent.

Seeing this gaze, the nearby Dragonite immediately grew wary, hurriedly pulling Naoki away, and didn’t forget to turn back and warn the elder Dragonite:

”Awoo!”
