Not Being a Trainer This Time

Hearing Eevee’s words, Naoki was slightly taken aback.

He hadn’t expected Eevee to have such thoughts.

But on second thought, from a certain perspective, Pokemon and human offspring are hardly any different.

Just like children living in the same family, every child wishes to be unique.

And every Eevee also hopes to be different.

So, they don’t want to evolve into the same Eevee as others.

It’s not just this Eevee wanting to become a partner Eevee; perhaps other Eevee share this sentiment too.

Naoki’s gaze swept across the group of Eevee in front of him, and the Eevee all looked up at him.

”I understand,” Naoki exhaled softly and said with a smile, ”So next, I will help you in the direction of your target Eevee, but before that, you need to wear this stone.”

As he spoke, Naoki took out the Everstone he had prepared and gave it to the few Eevee that hadn’t evolved yet to wear.

The Eevee looked down at the stone on their necks, all wearing confused expressions: ”Eevee?”

Naoki explained, ”This is the Everstone, and it prevents you from evolving suddenly due to environmental factors.”

After all, Eevee’s genes are too unstable, and there are several places on the ranch that can cause Eevee to evolve.

Like the World Tree with abundant Grass Energy and around the Gogoat, the Ice Cave for Glaceon, etc.

Inside that cave lies the treasure Ice Stone of Glaceon, and if little Eevee touches it, the ranch might soon have a second Glaceon.

Thus, the Everstone is very necessary for the Eevee.

As for the time of evolution... Naoki felt it was too early for Pokemon to evolve just a few days after hatching.

So he planned to let these Eevee evolve when they are about one or two years old.

But before that, he had to make preparations in advance.

The evolution method for Leafeon is simple, but Espeon and Sylveon are a bit more special.

”Find a time later to teach Eevee to learn Baby-Doll Eyes,” Naoki thought to himself.

Baby-Doll Eyes, a Fairy Type move, is also one of the prerequisites for evolving into Sylveon.

After arranging things with the Eevee, Naoki carried a bag of items and went out.

He found Dugtrio, invited Calyrex, and with the two Pokemon, came to the lake on the ranch.

After passing through the passage prepared by Giratina, the person and the two Pokemon entered the Reversed World.

In the chaotic and disorderly Reversed World, a tall and thriving towering tree stood.

That was the World Tree.

It had been more than twenty days since Calyrex last expedited the World Tree, and carefully calculating, tomorrow was the day to expedite it again.

Thinking of this, Naoki’s gaze swept over the World Tree.

In the next second, relevant information appeared in his mind.

[World Tree (Mature Stage): A seedling tree that absorbed a large amount of Power of Grass, due to the Gogoat, it mutated during growth, with vast Life Force brewing within, eventually emerging, said to support a world and nurture all things with Natural Energy, takes another 64054 years to fully grow.]

”The growth progress is already over half!” Naoki took a deep breath, for the past few months, Calyrex would regularly come and nurture the World Tree each month.

Currently, Calyrex can shorten the World Tree’s growth phase by about four thousand years each month.

At this pace...

”64054 divided by 4000... it takes about 16 more months,” Naoki calculated simply in his mind.

It’s August 22nd in the League Calendar of 199, in sixteen months it will be December of 201, more than a year from now.

This speed is fast already, after all, if it were at the original speed, he might not live to see the day the World Tree matures.

The time for nurturing the World Tree is tomorrow, Naoki came to the Reversed World today for another matter.

The outside season isn’t suitable, and it’s impossible to plant Gracidea flowers, so Naoki intends to plant a batch in the Reversed World first and see.

He didn’t disturb Giratina, who was sleeping among blooms, and went straight with Dugtrio and Calyrex to an undeveloped Sky Island.

The trio divided the work, with Dugtrio tilling the land, Naoki sowing the seeds, and finally Calyrex expediting the blooming of the Gracidea flowers.

Soon, a beautiful sea of pink flowers appeared before the three of them.

Dugtrio’s eyes flickered as it gazed at the scene: ”Dug dug... ” (So beautiful...)

Calyrex was also somewhat moved: ”I too see such beautiful flowers for the first time.”

”Yes.” Naoki nodded, smiling as he said, ”After all, these are the magical flowers that can attract Mythical Pokemon!”

Shaymin, although lacking the presence compared to Mew, Jirachi, Celebi, Diancie, and other Mythical Beasts, is still a genuine Mythical Pokemon.

At this moment, Giratina was also drawn over, looking at the Sky Island covered with pink flowers in a deep voice:

”What are these flowers?”

”Gracidea flowers,” Naoki replied.

He looked at Giratina and suddenly thought of a scene from a movie special.

That special was called ”Giratina and the Sky Warrior.”

At that time, a Shaymin would accidentally enter the Reversed World and then have a thrilling encounter with Giratina.
