On the table in the living room, there’s a row of fruit wines.

They can increase paralysis resistance, poison resistance, burn resistance, and freeze resistance.

”Drink all of these! This is wine I brewed myself, made from Berries. It can enhance your power.” Naoki said with a smile.

Brother Dragonite’s eyes were fixed on the glasses of wine on the table, with a hint of skepticism.

How could this be possible in this world?

You don’t need to battle; you can become stronger just by drinking water?

After a moment of silence, Brother Dragonite felt Naoki had no need to deceive him.

It picked up a glass of wine from the table and started gulping it down.

Soon, after downing more than a dozen glasses of wine, Brother Dragonite felt a dizzying sensation, and his entire body felt light and floaty.

Seeing this scene, Naoki was stunned.

These fruit wines don’t seem to have a high alcohol content, right?

He drinks them like juice, and the taste and texture are very similar to the pineapple beer he drank in his past life.

Looking at the patrons of the Pokemon Tavern, they’ve never appeared drunk before.

Is Brother Dragonite’s tolerance really that poor?

With a thud, Brother Dragonite flopped directly to the ground, passed out drunk.

Naoki: ”...”

A few Eevee were attracted by this scene, curiously gathering around Brother Dragonite, gently tapping his body with their paws.

”Eevee?”

”It’s drunk.” Naoki explained.

He brought a blanket over to cover Brother Dragonite, letting him sleep there for a while.

The Eevee didn’t know what it meant to be drunk, and soon, two of them jumped onto the table, sticking their noses into the glasses to sniff the aroma of the fruit wine.

Naoki came forward and took the glasses away: ”You’re still young, you can’t drink. Wait until you’re a year old before you can have some.”

One eager Eevee wanted to taste: ”Eevee!” But the aroma of the fruit wine was so tempting!

Seeing that Naoki wasn’t letting them drink, one small Eevee turned its eyes toward the basement where the fruit wine was stored.

It knew that’s where Naoki kept his wine.

Naoki immediately saw through its plan: ”You can’t steal wine from my cellar!”

He promptly locked the door to the cellar tightly.

Brother Dragonite woke up when it was already noon.

Naoki was preparing to cook lunch. Seeing it awake, he smiled and asked: ”Awake? How do you feel?”

Upon hearing this, Brother Dragonite carefully sensed the changes, and the next moment, it felt the amazing transformation happening within its body.

Its body felt stronger, brimming with energy, along with some other indescribable sensations...

Brother Dragonite’s pupils slightly widened.

Those wines are truly miraculous!

”Each glass of wine contains different effects.” Naoki briefly explained the effects of those fruit wines and then said: ”Your strength seems decent, but you need more practice with techniques.”

From the battle between Dragonite and Koraidon, it’s clear it believes in the supremacy of strength, charging without hesitation even against powerful opponents.

To help Dragonite become stronger, after lunch, Naoki called in his own Dragonite and had the two Dragonites try a battle.

As expected, just as he guessed, Brother Dragonite relied solely on brute force in battles.

Although its displayed strength was quite good, it ultimately fell to the combination of Rain Dance and Thunder moves used by Dragonite.

After the battle ended, Brother Dragonite was full of seriousness, unable to believe that the once clumsy Dragonite had become more powerful than it!

Naoki recalled Brother Dragonite’s performance.

Since he discovered Brother Dragonite’s ”symptoms,” the next step was to treat them appropriately.

Introducing type matchups, practicing combination moves, trying to change battle styles, learning to observe opponents’ actions instead of charging blindly.

To that end, Naoki specially brought in Koraidon and Dragonite to serve as sparring partners.

Days passed by, and in the blink of an eye, time reached September 20, 199 in the League calendar.

During this periosd, Brother Dragonite’s strength steadily increased.

Now, it was no longer the reckless fighter it once was.

It learned many things from this human named Naoki.

During this almost month-long period, Brother Dragonite also encountered many things it hadn’t experienced before.

One of the biggest changes was the attitude of the townsfolk toward it.

It still remembers when it first delivered goods, people were afraid of it because of its appearance, as if it were just another wild Pokemon.

But then, as it delivered goods again and again, those humans gradually stopped fearing it and even greeted it kindly.

One time, an old woman’s Sprigatito got stuck in a tree and couldn’t come down, and at that time, it happened to be delivering goods to her.

Before leaving, the lonely old woman asked it to help rescue her Sprigatito.

Dragonite helped her, and in gratitude, the old woman and Sprigatito gave it many little cookies.

If initially it worked to become stronger, now Brother Dragonite found it had come to like delivering goods.

At this moment, it finally understood why other Dragonites came running to the ranch every day.

It’s not just about delicious Poffins.

Aside from Poffins, there are many, many other things.

Like Naoki, who seriously cared for every Pokemon.
