Urban Martial Saint

A few classmates were chatting together, and Zhou Yong immediately seized the opportunity to find a way out, picked up his wine glass, and smiled: ”Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone for taking the time out of your busy schedules to come here. I drink this glass first to show my respect!”

After Zhou Yong finished speaking, he downed the whole glass of wine in one gulp. Of course, his glass was much smaller than the one Ye Qing had just drunk. However, this also directly shifted the focus to him.

”Actually, there aren’t many classmates in our graduating class to begin with, most are out of town, and now there are few people we can still get in touch with.” Zhou Yong sighed and said, ”Most of you present here are living and striving in the Capital area. For young people, it’s not easy to do anything without a few years of hard work. In the process of struggling and fighting, who doesn’t have things that require help from others? Asking for help also makes a difference. After all, classmates are closer than other relationships. Once you’re out there, the only ones willing to help without seeking any benefit are your old classmates. That’s why I often say it’s really not easy for everyone to be together, it’s all fate, and we should cherish it!”

While saying this, Zhou Yong also looked deeply at Ye Qing. He said it specifically for Ye Qing to hear. Lin Haoqi has money and power in the Capital, and if Ye Qing messes up his relationship with him, it certainly won’t do him any good.

Ye Qing smiled faintly, looking at Zhou Yong calmly, and said, ”Old Zhou, since we’re all classmates, regardless of whether we have a good relationship or not, the most critical thing is that among classmates, it should be an equal relationship, right?”

This made Zhou Yong frown slightly. He gave Ye Qing a look and said, ”Alright, alright, let’s just let the matter from earlier pass. Ye Qing, don’t be petty anymore, come, come, let’s start eating!”

”No hurry.” Ye Qing directly interrupted Zhou Yong, saying, ”I’m just asking you, among classmates, is it an equal relationship or not?”

Zhou Yong originally wanted to drag the matter past, but seeing Ye Qing wanting to bring the topic back, he felt very annoyed in his heart. However, annoyance aside, he still did not want to have a conflict with Ye Qing. After all, this is just between Lin Haoqi and Ye Qing, and he is quite shrewd and does not want to offend any side at all costs. After all, a person’s life is thirty years on the East River, thirty years on the West River; even though Ye Qing is down and out now, who knows if in the future he might rise?

Zhou Yong did not answer Ye Qing’s question, just pretended not to hear, smiling, ”Come, come, let’s eat first, eat first, don’t save on my account!”

A few people picked up their chopsticks and wanted to eat. Gao Shibao also quietly tugged at Ye Qing’s clothes, signaling him not to dwell on it any longer. Given Lin Haoqi’s status and position, if Ye Qing insists on making a fuss here in the Capital, it certainly won’t do him any good.

Ye Qing is quite easygoing by nature, if it were just a matter of bothering him, he really would just let it go like that. However, the way Lin Haoqi and Ding Yue had spoken to Gao Shibao earlier, he couldn’t swallow his anger. This person, others can insult him, but they absolutely cannot insult his brother, especially when this brother got insulted while standing up for him, that is even more unacceptable.

Therefore, no matter what, Ye Qing now would not let this matter rest. He directly stood up, looked at Lin Haoqi, and said, ”Lin Haoqi, it’s not just about you drinking four glasses of wine anymore. You need to not only drink four glasses but also apologize to Gao Shibao!”

”What do you want!” Lin Haoqi also stood up, glaring at Ye Qing like an enraged rooster, saying, ”Ye, I warn you, don’t challenge my limits. Here is the Capital, do you believe I can make you roll out sideways?!”

”If you have the ability, I’m always ready for it!” Ye Qing showed a calm expression, and said, ”But, you must drink these four glasses of wine. You must also apologize!”

”Ye Qing, is it necessary...” Zhou Yong hastily got up to mediate, but Ye Qing suddenly turned his head and glared at him with a murderous look, which made Zhou Yong shudder and he couldn’t continue his words.

Zhou Yong wasn’t stupid, seeing Ye Qing’s expression, he knew absolutely he couldn’t afford to provoke this person now. Even though he didn’t know how Ye Qing had become like this, he genuinely did not want to stir Ye Qing anymore.

”I’m not drinking or apologizing, what can you do!” Lin Haoqi retorted, ”What rubbish, not even worth a glance in the mirror for oneself. Just because you’re at the table, you think you’re anything?”

”Lin Haoqi, how can you say such a thing?” Gao Shibao was also angry, saying, ”Even if you don’t recognize this classmate, there’s no need to humiliate people like that. Do you think you’re the only one who’s a person, and others aren’t?”

”At least, you two don’t count for anything in my eyes!” Lin Haoqi said arrogantly.

”Is that so?” Ye Qing suddenly let out a cold chuckle, slowly picked up the cup from the table, and said, ”It is said, ’A person gives me an inch, I give back a foot.’ Now, you don’t regard me as a person, sorry, I can’t regard you as a person either. But, even if it’s a dog, if it bites someone, it has to pay a price, you agree, right?”

”Who are you calling a dog!” Lin Haoqi fumed.

”Ye Qing, your words are a bit overboard!” A tall man beside stood up, this person had some business dealings with Lin Haoqi’s company, so he was always on Lin Haoqi’s side.

At the same time, two people stood up to support Lin Haoqi; they were all hoping to get rich through Lin Haoqi’s family. As for the others, some were the type to stay out of things that didn’t concern them, while some wanted to help Lin Haoqi but didn’t have the guts and didn’t want to get involved in such matters. However, now it seems that Lin Haoqi has five people on his side, while Ye Qing only has Gao Shibao helping him, so he doesn’t have the advantage in numbers.

”You didn’t think it was excessive when he didn’t treat us like humans. Now that I’ve spoken up, you think it’s excessive?” Ye Qing sneered coldly and said, ”I’ve figured it out. Nowadays, if you’re rich and powerful, nothing you say is too much. If you’re not, even breathing is wrong!”

”Are you not done yet!” A woman also stood up and said sharply, ”Why is a grown man whining like a woman, all nagging non-stop? A man like you is destined never to find a wife in this life. How can you compare yourself to Zhou Yong or Lin Haoqi? Ye Qing, it’s not that I look down on you, but what you do really makes people look down on you. No wonder nobody liked you in school. Now I see what you’re made of!”

”You’re right, I’ve been dragging things out!” Ye Qing nodded, suddenly pushed away the chair behind him, picked up a glass of wine, and walked straight towards Lin Haoqi.

Lin Haoqi also grabbed a bottle of wine from the table, cursing angrily, ”*****, do you want to flip the table? I’ll kill you!”

Before Lin Haoqi could make a move, a tall classmate directly blocked Ye Qing’s way and swung a punch towards Ye Qing’s face. This person was notoriously strong in school and didn’t take Ye Qing, who was half a head shorter, seriously.

However, this time he ran into real trouble. Seeing him swing a punch, Ye Qing also punched directly, clashing fists with him. With a cracking sound, several of the guy’s knuckle bones were broken, causing him to scream in pain. Before he could retreat, Ye Qing had already grabbed him by the neck, lifting him entirely off the ground.

Ye Qing practiced Northern Bajiquan, which naturally made him extraordinarily strong. With Inner Strength, his strength was even greater. Lifting a person who weighed over seventy pounds with one hand was effortless for him. However, this action stunned everyone in the room, especially Lin Haoqi, who was frozen on the spot; he had never seen such a fierce person before!

Ye Qing casually tossed the classmate aside, then glared at the two standing beside Lin Haoqi and shouted, ”Get lost!”

The two didn’t say a word, turned around, and ran immediately; who would dare joke with their lives at that moment?

”You...what are you trying to do!” Ding Yue screamed in fear and said, ”Haoqi’s uncle is the deputy director of the Western Branch of the Capital police. If you dare to touch him, I’ll call the police to arrest you!”

Ye Qing completely ignored him and walked up to Lin Haoqi, grabbed him, and directly handed him the glass of wine, saying, ”Drink!”

Seeing the tall guy struggling on the ground unable to stand up, Lin Haoqi was so scared he shivered all over, not daring to disobey Ye Qing’s orders. Taking the wine glass, he gritted his teeth, closed his eyes, and gulped down the entire glass of wine.

As soon as the wine went down, his face immediately turned red, with his mouth wide open, looking very uncomfortable. After all, such a large glass of liquor, who could handle drinking it in one go?

Ye Qing, however, showed no sympathy and handed him a second glass, saying directly, ”Drink again!”

Lin Haoqi didn’t dare disobey Ye Qing, trembling as he took the glass and drank it. Halfway through, he started choking and coughed for a while, looking at Ye Qing with a crying face, ”I...I really can’t drink anymore...”

”Finish it!” Ye Qing looked at Lin Haoqi calmly and said, ”One less glass, and I’ll break one of your legs; see for yourself!”

Looking into Ye Qing’s eyes filled with killing intent, Lin Haoqi shivered all over, really not daring not to drink. He gritted his teeth and finished the glass. Ye Qing didn’t pause and handed him a third glass.

Lin Haoqi was almost in tears, took the glass, and after two sips, began to vomit wildly. But Ye Qing showed no sympathy, and after he finished vomiting, handed him the glass to continue drinking.

One glass after another, it took great difficulty for Lin Haoqi to finally finish four glasses, but by then he was slumped over the table, his face flushed crimson, even struggling to breathe.

All the classmates in the room were watching, but after Ye Qing had taken down that tall classmate, no one dared to say a word. Ding Yue stood to the side, tears in her eyes as she watched Lin Haoqi, not daring to say a word, fearing that Ye Qing would even hit a woman.
