Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing knew these people misunderstood him, but he was fully focused on using his Inner Strength to save Su Kaixin and didn’t dare to be distracted by answering Su Kaicheng. After all, the two acupoints he was pressing were crucial points on the human body, and any distraction could cause a big problem.

Seeing Ye Qing not speaking, Su Kaixin immediately stepped forward to grab Ye Qing’s arm.

”Get him out! Get him out!” the middle-aged man shouted loudly. He had been displeased with Ye Qing from the beginning and wished he could immediately drive Ye Qing away.

Just as Su Kaixin’s hand was about to touch Ye Qing, the middle-aged woman standing by the bed suddenly exclaimed, scaring everyone, even making Su Kaicheng turn his head immediately.

”Mom, what happened?” Su Kaicheng asked nervously.

”Sister-in-law, what’s the matter?” the middle-aged man asked hurriedly.

The others also looked at her with equally surprised eyes, especially Su Kaicheng’s father, who also glanced at the unconscious Su Kaixin on the bed. Honestly, although he was deeply dissatisfied with Ye Qing, he truly hoped for a miracle to happen.

The middle-aged woman looked at Su Kaicheng, her voice nearly trembling, ”Your… your… sister, her… her eyelid just moved a little…”

”What!?” Su Kaicheng also exclaimed and, like everyone else in the room, immediately turned to look at the unconscious Su Kaixin on the bed. Especially Su Kaicheng’s father, he rushed directly to the bedside, staring intently at Su Kaixin, calling out softly, ”Kaixin, Kaixin, how are you?”

However, this time, Su Kaixin did not show the slightest movement. Regardless of how they called or touched her arm, she had no reaction, appearing just like a dead person.

After trying for a long time and seeing that Su Kaixin still had no movements, everyone basically lost hope.

”Mom, did you see it wrong?” Su Kaicheng asked in a low voice.

”How could that be!” the middle-aged woman exclaimed anxiously, ”I saw it with my own eyes. How could I be wrong?”

”Then… what happened?” Su Kaicheng held his sister’s hand, but he felt no pulse at all. How could this be possible if she were still alive?

The middle-aged man glanced at the middle-aged woman and said, ”Sister-in-law, I know you cannot accept Kaixin’s passing. It’s normal to have illusions, but the dead cannot come back to life; you need to accept this and move on.”

”It wasn’t an illusion. What I said was true; Kaixin’s eyelid really moved!” the middle-aged woman said anxiously.

”Mom!” Su Kaicheng quickly held the middle-aged woman and said, ”Don’t be like this. Even in spirit, sister wouldn’t want to see you like this!”

”What I said is true! You need to believe me; Kaixin is not dead!” the middle-aged woman cried.

Everyone, helpless, looked towards Su Kaicheng’s father. Su Kaicheng’s father furrowed his brows, remained silent for a long time, sighed deeply, and said, ”Prepare for the funeral.”

Su Kaicheng’s father also wished Su Kaixin could be alive, but he was far more rational than the middle-aged woman, clearly understanding that revival was impossible.

Hearing this, the middle-aged man immediately turned and pointed at Ye Qing, angrily saying, ”Get this guy out first!”

Only then did the Su Family remember that Ye Qing was still there working on Su Kaixin’s body. Su Kaicheng gritted his teeth, took a step forward, and was about to grab Ye Qing’s shoulder but was directly blocked by the middle-aged woman.

”Kaicheng, I’m certain your sister isn’t dead!” the middle-aged woman said anxiously, ”Don’t interfere with Mr. Ye; let him save your sister first!”

”Mom, he’s a fraud. Why would you believe him?” Su Kaicheng said anxiously, ”Look how long it’s been; sister still hasn’t awakened, and you still believe him?”

”Who says your sister hasn’t woken up?” the middle-aged woman said, ”I saw her eyelid move just now. She’s already awake!”

Su Kaicheng was helpless and said, ”Mom, you really saw it wrong just now; sister hasn’t woken up at all!”

”She’s awake, I’m sure!” the middle-aged woman said loudly, being the most persistent.

Seeing the middle-aged woman like this, Su Kaicheng had no choice but to look at his father.

Su Kaicheng’s father sighed and said, ”Kaicheng, your mother is overly grieved. Take her down to rest for a while.”

Su Kaicheng’s father said this to first send the middle-aged woman away, and then to handle Su Kaixin’s aftermath. Otherwise, if the middle-aged woman is blocking the way here, the aftermath can’t be dealt with.

Su Kaicheng listened to his father very well, and upon hearing this, he immediately grabbed the middle-aged woman’s arm, saying, ”Mom, let me take you downstairs to rest for a bit.”

”I’m not leaving!” The middle-aged woman wanted to stay here, but she wasn’t strong enough to fight against Su Kaicheng and was forcibly pulled out of the room.

”Don’t pull me, quickly check on your sister, she’s really not dead!” The middle-aged woman shouted repeatedly, but at this point, everyone assumed that she was truly too saddened and experiencing hallucinations, so no one paid her any attention. Some even suspected whether she had a mental breakdown, causing her to make a fuss here.

Inside the room, after the middle-aged woman was pulled away, the middle-aged man immediately went towards Ye Qing, grabbing Ye Qing’s shoulder, saying, ”You’re still messing around here, do you really want to die?”

At the moment he pressed Ye Qing’s arm, a powerful force suddenly transmitted from Ye Qing’s arm, directly bouncing him back, landing him on the ground.

Everyone was stunned, and the middle-aged man angrily got up, saying, ”You dare to hit me!”

As he spoke, the middle-aged man rubbed his fists and was about to approach Ye Qing, but Su Kaicheng’s father hurriedly stopped him, whispering, ”He didn’t hit you!”

”He didn’t hit me, how did I fall?” The middle-aged man asked in surprise.

”He really didn’t hit you, you... you stepped back on your own...” Another person nearby said, and several people around saw it very clearly. When the middle-aged man grabbed Ye Qing’s arm, it seemed like he was bounced back by something, taking a few steps back before sitting on the ground, and everyone was puzzled about what had happened. Now hearing the middle-aged man’s words, everyone suddenly found the matter quite mysterious.

Actually, what they didn’t know was that Ye Qing was using all his Inner Strength to stimulate Su Kaixin’s acupoints, to revive her vitality. At this moment, Ye Qing’s arms were filled with Inner Strength, any external attack would be rebounded by Ye Qing’s Inner Strength. Moreover, it was fortunate that the middle-aged man just pressed Ye Qing’s arm; if he had attempted to hit it, he would likely have been injured.

The middle-aged man was also stunned, for he himself felt that Ye Qing hadn’t taken any action. But how did he end up falling? Why is this matter so bizarre?

Everyone looked at Ye Qing in astonishment, and at this time, Ye Qing suddenly opened his eyes, withdrew his hands, exhaled deeply, then turned to look at everyone, saying: ”Miss Su is already fine.”

Upon hearing this, everyone immediately stepped forward to look. However, on the sickbed, Su Kaixin still remained the same as before, showing no signs of waking up.

”You still want to deceive us?” The middle-aged man said angrily, ”This is called being fine?”

”She has just been in a coma for too long, her strength is insufficient, and she can’t wake up temporarily. However, her heartbeat and pulse have already returned to normal, but because the fluctuations are too weak, without the help of instruments, they cannot be measured.” Ye Qing paused, saying, ”If you don’t believe it, you can reinstall the heart monitor to see if what I said is true or not.”

Everyone exchanged looks, and they all turned to Su Kaicheng’s father simultaneously. Su Kaicheng’s father was silent for a long time, slowly nodding, saying, ”Call the doctors over.”

By saying this, he was accepting to trust Ye Qing once again.

The middle-aged man furrowed his brow tightly, looking at Ye Qing, saying sternly: ”Ye, I’m warning you, if you dare to mess with our Su family again, I’ll make sure you won’t get away with it!”

Ye Qing completely ignored him, and not long after, two doctors hurried in. After listening to Su Kaicheng’s father’s words, the two doctors exchanged a look, one of them said quietly, ”Vice Premier Su, this... this is fundamentally impossible. The dead cannot come back to life, Miss Su no longer has a heartbeat or breath, how could she be revived? Vice Premier Su, you mustn’t be fooled by some Jianghu swindlers; from a medical perspective, this matter is simply not possible!”

Upon hearing this, Ye Qing finally understood what position Su Kaicheng’s father held. Unexpectedly, he turned out to be a Vice Premier, a truly significant figure. Even Ye Qing was taken aback upon hearing this title.

The other doctor also agreed repeatedly, firmly believing that Su Kaixin couldn’t wake up again, and they urged Su Kaicheng’s father not to believe Ye Qing.

The middle-aged man was also frowning, disbelieving Ye Qing. But as Su Kaicheng’s father remained silent, he had nothing to say.

Seeing the others hesitating, Ye Qing said, ”Regardless of whether it’s possible, wouldn’t it be known if you try connecting the heart monitor?”

”Right, connect the heart monitor and try, then you’ll know!” Someone from the Su family also supported Ye Qing’s view.

Su Kaicheng’s father also nodded firmly, saying sternly, ”Connect it and see.”

The two doctors exchanged another look, the leading one furrowed his brow, glaring at Ye Qing, saying sternly, ”Since Vice Premier Su says to try, we’ll measure again. However, this involves our hospital’s reputation issue. If the instrument proves that Miss Su is indeed gone, I hope we can retain the right to pursue legal accountability!”

It was the doctors from this hospital who issued the death certification for Su Kaixin, and now Ye Qing insists that Su Kaixin isn’t dead, which is simply going against the hospital’s findings. Therefore, the hospital’s doctors weren’t pleased with Ye Qing’s behavior; even though they consented to retest, they insisted on drawing Ye Qing into it to deal with him properly.
