Urban Martial Saint

Su Kaicheng went to a somewhat secluded hospital, where there was even security at the entrance. Seeing it was Su Kaicheng, the guard let him through but still questioned Ye Qing’s situation behind him. It seems this hospital is definitely not simple; not everyone can enter freely.

The hospital’s conditions are quite good, with an elegant environment akin to a garden. Staying here is probably costly, not everyone can afford to stay.

A lot of cars are parked at the hospital, Su Kaicheng parked the car, and directly took Ye Qing and Huangfu Ziyu upstairs.

Upon going upstairs, Ye Qing saw twenty or thirty people standing in the hallway, all extremely anxious. Some were even sobbing, clearly having close ties with the Su Family.

Su Kaicheng knew all these people, and as he came up, everyone greeted him. However, seeing Ye Qing behind him, they were visibly surprised, as they didn’t recognize Ye Qing. Su Kaicheng was worried about his sister’s situation, and naturally didn’t have time to introduce Ye Qing to them, so he simply greeted them and led Ye Qing and Huangfu Ziyu straight to the ward.

Su Kaicheng went directly into the ward, while Ye Qing and Huangfu Ziyu didn’t enter. As they approached, a man in black stopped them. Judging by his stance, he must be a personal bodyguard.

Su Kaicheng, worried about his sister, didn’t notice the situation outside and rushed into the room to inquire about Su Kaixin’s condition. Here, Ye Qing gazed through the window, seeing five people seated inside the ward, with a young girl, eighteen or nineteen, lying on the bed. The nearby heartbeat monitor showed no fluctuations, everyone inside looked very dejected. Among them, one ******** was constantly crying, leaning over the bed while tightly holding the girl’s hand.

Of the other four, one was a man of fifty or sixty years, whose eyes were fixed on the girl on the bed. The other three were comforting him and that ********.

Seeing Su Kaicheng enter, the ******** could not stop the tears, like beads that had broken off a string. The fifty-something man sighed heavily, turning his head aside, not wanting to speak further.

”Oh!” A middle-aged man sighed, saying, ”Kaicheng, you were still late. The doctor has already issued the death notification, but Auntie is not giving up, so the apparatus hasn’t been removed yet.”

”How could this happen? How could she suddenly die?” Su Kaicheng stared wide-eyed at the heartbeat monitor, looking utterly disbelieving, urgently exclaimed: ”When I left, my sister was fine, the heartbeat monitor was fine, how could she suddenly be gone? Dad, Mom, did you really have the heart to use euthanasia on my sister?”

”Kaicheng, Brother had this thought, but didn’t have the time to execute it, since Kaixin just… she just…” The middle-aged man’s voice choked at this point, unable to continue further.

Su Kaicheng stood there dumbfounded, unable to regain his senses for a long time. She was his only sister, how could he accept that she died like this, at the prime of her youth, just disappeared like this?

Everyone inside the room had similar expressions, all being members of the Su Family, so they felt very downhearted. After a long time, the fifty-something man sighed, saying, ”What’s done is done, since things have happened, don’t be too upset. Kaicheng, go find a doctor to remove these instruments first!”

Su Kaicheng stood there blankly, as if he hadn’t heard his father speak, just staring at his sister on the bed.

”Forget it, Brother, let’s not be so hasty,” the middle-aged man said softly, ”Kaicheng has always cared for this sister, with Kaixin gone like this now, it’s hard for him to accept. Wait a bit, I’ll arrange it later.”

”Alright.” Su Kaicheng’s father sighed again, at this moment, he seemed a lot older. Though he couldn’t bear to see his daughter on the bed, even if he didn’t look, his heart remained there.

Outside the ward, Huangfu Ziyu also sighed, whispering, ”Oh, this young girl, only seventeen or eighteen, how could she just be gone? Truly, having the old bury the young, who could accept it!”

Ye Qing didn’t say a word, his eyes still fixated on the girl on the bed, with a hint of surprise in them. He recognized the heartbeat monitor, specifically used to measure heartbeat, capable of determining life and death. According to logic, if the heartbeat monitor stops, it indicates death.

However, this time the situation is different. Because Ye Qing clearly saw, beneath the ear of Su Kaixin on the bed, there was still a reddish coloring to the skin, as if blood-filled. Observing this, Ye Qing couldn’t help but recall a circumstance recorded in Acupoint Seeking Technique.

”Perhaps she’s not dead yet.” Ye Qing said softly.

”Ah?” Huangfu Ziyu was startled, looking at Ye Qing in disbelief, saying, ”Impossible right? Her heartbeat has stopped, how could she not be dead?”

”There’s no time to explain now, if she truly isn’t dead, we must save her quickly. If we’re late, it’ll be too late!” Ye Qing finished speaking, stepping forward directly, shouting, ”Elder Brother Su! Elder Brother Su!”

The entire corridor was immersed in sorrow, and the people in the ward were even more deeply saddened. At this moment, most people were sobbing and no one was speaking loudly. Ye Qing’s sudden voice immediately drew everyone’s attention, and they all turned to look at him.

The people in the ward also looked at Ye Qing in astonishment. A middle-aged man frowned slightly, glanced at Su Kaicheng, and said, ”Who is this? Why is he shouting here without any manners?”

Su Kaicheng was feeling utterly downcast at this moment. He turned his head to look at Ye Qing, but he didn’t speak. Or rather, he didn’t even have the energy to speak now.

Seeing everyone’s unfriendly expressions, Ye Qing felt a bit embarrassed and quickly whispered, ”Elder Brother Su, let me go in and take a look?”

”Is this your friend?” The middle-aged man looked at Su Kaicheng and said, ”Why did you bring someone like this? What does he want to see? Kaixin is gone, is he just here for the spectacle? Doesn’t he know any manners!”

The middle-aged man was very dissatisfied with Ye Qing’s attitude, so he spoke with no trace of goodwill. If Ye Qing didn’t know Su Kaicheng, he probably would have driven Ye Qing away already.

Su Kaicheng’s father also looked at Su Kaicheng in surprise. Su Kaicheng then sighed and whispered, ”Ye brother, I understand your good intentions. But, we came too late, Kaixin... Kaixin is already... she’s no longer with us...”

”I don’t think so!” Ye Qing shook his head and said, ”Let me take a look, maybe there’s still a chance to save her!”

As soon as he said this, everyone in the room immediately turned to look at him, each with a look of astonishment. The first to react was the middle-aged man, who glared and said angrily, ”Are you mocking us? Kaixin’s heart has stopped, the doctor has already issued the death notice, how can she be saved? Do you think you’re a god who can bring the dead back to life?”

Su Kaicheng’s father also frowned and said sternly, ”Kaicheng, let your friend leave first.”

Su Kaicheng’s father was a rather serious person, and although what he said was simple, in fact, by saying this, he was already very dissatisfied with Ye Qing and was essentially expelling him.

Su Kaicheng also felt a bit embarrassed. Ye Qing’s actions surprised him a lot. As far as he knew, Ye Qing was a very steady person, how could he say something so outlandish?

”Ye brother, please go back first. After we’re done here, I’ll come to see you.” Su Kaicheng sighed and said, ”I’m really sorry, I understand your good intentions. But today, we’re really not in the mood!”

”Elder Brother Su, I’m telling the truth!” Ye Qing said urgently, ”Your sister might really not be dead yet!”

Su Kaicheng’s father frowned deeply. His daughter was dead, and Ye Qing still said such things. To him, this was simply mocking their Su Family. After all, the doctors had already come to a conclusion, and these doctors were among the top in the country, could they not determine someone’s life or death? When Ye Qing said this, of course, everyone thought he was crazy!

The middle-aged man was thoroughly enraged and angrily waved his hand, ”Throw him out for me!”

A few guards at the door immediately rushed forward and grabbed towards Ye Qing.

”What are you doing?” Huangfu Ziyu was suddenly angry, reached out, and intercepted the two guards, fighting them.

The skills of these two guards were not weak, but compared to Huangfu Ziyu, they were still somewhat lacking. Surprisingly, two against one, they were still on the losing side against Huangfu Ziyu.

Over here, Ye Qing pushed away another guard at the door. Seeing that these people weren’t going to let him into the room, Ye Qing simply stopped talking and prepared to force his way in. To him, the most crucial thing now was saving Su Kaixin’s life. If Su Kaixin’s condition was really like what was recorded in the Acupoint Seeking Technique, then she could still be saved!

The guards didn’t expect Ye Qing to have such strength, and seeing him break into the ward, everyone was shocked. Even the two who were fighting with Huangfu Ziyu immediately turned around and rushed in, wanting to block Ye Qing. However, they were a bit slower than Ye Qing and were too late when they rushed into the room.

Over here, seeing Ye Qing burst in, the people in the room panicked somewhat. The calmest among them was Su Kaicheng’s father, who merely coldly watched Ye Qing, frowning deeply. In his heart, his dissatisfaction with Ye Qing had turned into hostility. After all, it was the first time he had seen someone dare to be so brazen in front of him!

”Ye Qing, what are you doing!” Su Kaicheng also quickly turned around, hurriedly standing in front of his father, and said in a deep voice, ”Do you know what kind of place this is? Do you know the severity of barging in here at will?”
