Urban Martial Saint

After meeting with Liu Mubai, Ye Qing didn’t plan to stay long in the Capital. He bought a plane ticket to return to Xi Hang immediately, intending to deliver the Overlord Spear to the Shen Family Manor first.

The plane wouldn’t take off for another two hours, so Ye Qing, Liu Mubai, and Huangfu Ziyu sat in the waiting area, as they had no friends in the Capital and didn’t plan to wander around downtown.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Capital, Nalan Tianyu was sitting with a few of his hangers-on. In recent days, he finally recovered from his injuries, but this incident had completely humiliated him. Every time his friends brought it up, he felt too ashamed to lift his head.

In fact, what he couldn’t accept the most was that his grandfather, Prince Nalan, didn’t help him seek revenge. In the past, whenever something like this happened, the Nalan Family would back him up. But this time, Prince Nalan only told him to rest and never mentioned the incident, which made him very unhappy.

Sitting with friends and drinking some alcohol, his mood only slightly improved. However, before he drank too much, an uninvited guest walked in. It was none other than Li Lin, who had also been beaten up by Ye Qing last time.

At the airport last time, Li Lin was mercilessly mocked by Nalan Tianyu. As a result, both of them were dealt with by Ye Qing. They could now be considered comrades in misfortune, so their relationship somewhat improved.

Seeing Li Lin walk in, Nalan Tianyu immediately laughed and said, ”Little Li Zi, is your dog leg healed or what? You can actually come out to swagger around?”

”Oh, don’t mention it!” Li Lin said indignantly, ”At home, the old man scolds me every day, saying I shouldn’t be causing trouble outside. Tell me, how have I caused any trouble? The old man is so nagging, I just couldn’t sit still and came out. Hey, you’d never guess, but just after I came out, I ran into that Black Mouse kid. Do you know what he told me?”

Hearing about Black Mouse, Nalan Tianyu was immediately annoyed. If it weren’t for Black Mouse giving him that piece of information, he wouldn’t have lost face so badly.

”That bastard, I’m still looking for him, and he dares to come out?” Nalan Tianyu glared and said, ”Where is he now? I’ll go find him right away. Damn, last time, he gave me such a crappy tip, I must give him a good beating!”

”Come on, that kid’s been having a tough time recently too. Your uncle gave him a good thrashing. I just saw him, and he’s still in a wheelchair. If you go beat him again, that kid’s not going to make it.” Li Lin waved his hand and said, ”You should be more concerned about what he told me!”

Nalan Tianyu pouted and said, ”What else can come out of that kid’s dog mouth, other than some news about beautiful women somewhere?”

”No!” Li Lin shook his head directly, walked closer to Nalan Tianyu and said in a low voice, ”This time, he told me something related to our last incident!”

”Oh?” Nalan Tianyu immediately frowned and asked, ”How is it related? What did he say?”

Li Lin glanced at the people nearby, gave Nalan Tianyu a look. Nalan Tianyu understood and immediately asked everyone else to leave the room, leaving only him and Li Lin inside.

”That kid got some eyes and ears at the airport. He just received word that that Huangfu Ziyu, and that guy, are now at the airport waiting for their flight,” Li Lin said in a deep voice, ”Those two bastards, after finishing their business, are planning to take a transfer flight home from the Capital!”

”What!?” Nalan Tianyu stood up immediately and said angrily, ”Those bastards dare to come back to the Capital?”

Li Lin waved his hand and said, ”Young Master Tianyu, don’t get agitated. They did come to the Capital, but how are we going to find them for revenge? In terms of fighting, even if all of us in this room together, we probably wouldn’t be a match for that guy.”

Although Nalan Tianyu was dissatisfied with Li Lin’s words, he had to admit that it was true. He had witnessed Ye Qing’s strength firsthand. If it came to a fight, he would have to return to the Nalan Family to find experts to help. However, Prince Nalan had strictly ordered that the Nalan Family was not to get involved in this matter. The Nalan Family would definitely not help him. If he sought revenge on his own, it would be no different from seeking humiliation!

”Then what should we do?” Nalan Tianyu glared and asked, ”Should we just let those bastards swagger out of the Capital? Damn it, I’ve never been beaten up like this in my life and watched someone just walk away under my nose. If I don’t avenge this, I swear I’m not human!”

”If you want revenge, it’s not hard, but you have to consider the method,” Li Lin said softly, ”If we go ourselves, we definitely can’t get revenge. We can try a roundabout way and use other methods to get revenge.”

”What other methods?” Nalan Tianyu asked curiously.

Li Lin said, ”I heard that recently a few experts from the Meng District have come over, apparently to find your grandfather?”

Nalan Tianyu said indignantly, ”Hmph, isn’t he just that so-called General of Meng District? Daring to challenge my grandfather, he’s really overestimating himself, asking for trouble!”

Li Lin said, ”Didn’t they say that the Great General hasn’t even arrived at the Capital yet? It’s just a few of his subordinates who came.”

Nalan Tianyu said, ”Yeah, that kid, not very old, but he’s got quite an attitude. He didn’t come himself but instead sent his youngest son along with a few subordinates. My grandfather is giving them too much face by arranging for them to stay in the Capital. If you ask me, we shouldn’t even bother with these little brats, much less entertain them!”

Li Lin continued, ”Isn’t his youngest son called Helian Qingfeng?”

Nalan Tianyu looked at Li Lin in surprise and said, ”How do you know so clearly? I almost forgot that kid’s name. Now that you mention it, I do remember, I think he is called Nalan Qingfeng. But how do you know?”

”Heh heh...” Li Lin smiled slightly and said, ”I have a strategist under me, who used to live in the Meng District for a while. He’s very familiar with the situation there!”

”Oh, you even have a strategist under you now? Do you think you’re some prince or prime minister from the past!” Nalan Tianyu sneered and said, ”But you’ve been talking around in circles, what exactly do you mean? Weren’t we talking about those two bastards? How does this relate to Helian Qingfeng?”

”I’m talking about that matter!” Li Lin said softly, ”Young Master Tianyu, do you remember? After those two bastards left the Capital last time, your Uncle Nalan Fangyuan went to the airport and had a fight with a man named Liu Mubai, which ended in a draw.”

Hearing this, Nalan Tianyu immediately frowned. Nalan Fangyuan was quite a ranked figure within the Nalan Family. He originally thought Nalan Fangyuan going to the airport would settle the score for him, but who knew it would only end in a draw. This surprised him and made him remember Liu Mubai’s name deeply. Now, Li Lin brought up the matter again, and he couldn’t help but think of Liu Mubai.

”That Liu Mubai just got lucky, there’s no way he’s a match for my uncle’s incredible strength!” Nalan Tianyu said indignant, stubborn as always.

Li Lin sneered inwardly and said in a low voice, ”Of course, Uncle Nalan’s strength is well known to everyone in the Capital. However, the key issue now lies not with him, but with this Liu Mubai and that Helian Qingfeng!”

”Oh?” Nalan Tianyu looked at Li Lin curiously and said, ”What’s going on with those two?”

”I heard from that strategist that the grievances between Liu Mubai and Helian Qingfeng are not trivial!” Li Lin said in a deep voice, ”Liu Mubai has crossed paths with Helian Qingfeng several times, and it’s always Helian Qingfeng who ends up suffering. Moreover, Helian Qingfeng’s best friend was killed by Liu Mubai’s own hands. You could say the two of them are the type to fight to the death whenever they meet!”

”Really?” Nalan Tianyu perked up and said, ”Are you suggesting that we let Helian Qingfeng deal with Liu Mubai?”

Li Lin said in a deep voice, ”If Helian Qingfeng sees them, he might not just deal with Liu Mubai, but also take care of those two bastards at the same time!”

”Will that work?” Nalan Tianyu said, ”Helian Qingfeng couldn’t handle Liu Mubai in the Meng District; now that he’s in the Capital, would he dare to provoke Liu Mubai? Besides, Helian Qingfeng isn’t Liu Mubai’s match, if they clash, it’ll still be Helian Qingfeng who suffers!”

”The reason Helian Qingfeng couldn’t handle Liu Mubai in the Meng District is that Helian Tiehua didn’t allow him to take on Liu Mubai there. But here, in the Capital, there are no such restrictions.” Li Lin paused and said, ”Helian Qingfeng may not be Liu Mubai’s match, but the people he brought along are all top-notch experts. Combined, handling those three should be a piece of cake!”

”Really?” Nalan Tianyu gave Li Lin a sidelong glance and said, ”How do you know the people around him are all top-notch experts?”

”That’s simple.” Li Lin laughed and said, ”Helian Qingfeng is the youngest son of the Great General of Meng District, and he’s also the one he dotes on the most. Now that this son is in the Capital, how could he not send some experts to protect him? I bet the people around Helian Qingfeng are Helian Tiehua’s right-hand men, and they are capable individuals in the Meng District who can hold their own!”

Nalan Tianyu nodded; he could agree with that.

”So, we just need to bring Helian Qingfeng and Liu Mubai together, and we won’t have to lift a finger?” Nalan Tianyu scratched his head and said, ”But how can we get them to meet? Aren’t those three planning to leave the Capital by plane?”

”Getting them to meet is just a matter of a few words.” Li Lin shrugged and said, ”Just tell him Liu Mubai is at the airport. I reckon they’ll go looking for trouble with Liu Mubai by themselves, it’s that simple!”
