Urban Martial Saint

”Damn it, this Bastard, still talking tough at a time like this!” Li Lianshan immediately lost his temper and waved his hand: ”Come on, send them the ’gifts’ we prepared for them.”

Several people nearby immediately carried over a few huge oil barrels. Li Lianshan looked at Ye Qing and said: ”Ye Zi, don’t stop me this time. If you don’t kill these people, they will kill you. I think it’s better to take care of them all at once!”

As Li Lianshan spoke, he waved his hand again and said: ”Pour it down!”

Ye Qing hesitated for a moment, intending to intercept. But then, remembering the brothers who were killed by Wang Tian’an, Ye Qing’s heart turned cold again. He didn’t stop them and just quietly watched as Li Lianshan’s men poured the oil out of the barrels.

Xu Cunxiao was cursing at the bottom of the hill when suddenly several barrels of gasoline were poured down. Xu Cunxiao and his men were at first stunned, then immediately turned and ran. Even if they were fools, they knew what was going to happen next.

”Running away? I’d like to see where you can run to!” Li Lianshan sneered, casually tossing a cigarette butt down.

The ground below was soaked with gasoline, and the moment the cigarette butt was thrown down, the gasoline ignited instantly. Several of Xu Cunxiao’s men who were slow to run were caught by the flames and instantly turned into human torches. Those who ran faster, upon seeing the situation behind them, were scared out of their wits, running forward and crying for their parents, not daring to look back even once.

They were soaked with gasoline and as they ran, they dripped a trail of gasoline on the ground. The flames followed the trail of gasoline, as if chasing them, driving them into a state of utter desperation, with no way to heaven and no door into the earth. From time to time, some were caught by the flames and turned into human torches.

In less than half a minute, all fourteen people had turned into human torches. The others, who were faster, quickly ran to the large trucks parked on both sides. However, these trucks, that were used to block Ye Qing, now became their roadblocks. Two people who couldn’t climb over the trucks in time were caught by the flames and burned with terrible screams.

The others hurriedly climbed over the trucks, but as soon as they got to the other side, they started screaming horribly.

”What’s happening?” Black Bear curiously walked over and after taking one look, he exclaimed in shock: ”Li, where did you get these road rollers from?”

Ye Qing walked over and saw that behind the big trucks on both sides, several road rollers had appeared out of nowhere, completely blocking the path. A few people who clambered over without noticing were already crushed by the road rollers, dying a gruesome death that was almost vomit-inducing to witness. The other lucky ones who didn’t jump down were then enveloped by the flames chasing from behind.

In just a short moment, out of the twenty-thirty people Xu Cunxiao brought, only six or seven remained. The losses this time were extremely heavy.

”These road rollers, I specially borrowed them. Since we’re going to kill tonight, we can’t let these Bastards escape!” Li Lianshan boasted proudly: ”Last time, these Bastards killed so many of my brothers, today, I must avenge them!”

The brothers at Li Lianshan’s side all shared the same expression, feeling the sweet release of vengeance as they watched Xu Cunxiao’s men being crushed and burned.

However, Ye Qing was frowning tightly, saying in a deep voice: ”Have them pull back, quick!”

”What’s wrong?” Li Lianshan was puzzled, not understanding what Ye Qing was planning to do.

”They...” Just as Ye Qing was about to speak, Xu Cunxiao, standing on top of the truck, had already jumped onto one of the road rollers.

There was someone sitting inside the road roller. When Xu Cunxiao jumped over, he kicked through the glass and burst into the driver’s cabin. The driver tried to resist, but Xu Cunxiao grabbed his head and twisted his neck, killing him instantly, then kicked him out of the cabin.

Seeing this, Li Lianshan’s eyes instantly bulged in fury, yelling: ”Damn it, this Bastard, he dares to kill my brothers!”

Meanwhile, a few other people, just like Xu Cunxiao, were leaping onto the road rollers and, just like him, killing the drivers within. In less than half a minute, all six or seven drivers were dead, with their necks twisted, none survived.

By now, Li Lianshan was practically going mad with anger. He finally understood why Ye Qing had warned them to pull back. But it was already too late. The drivers he had sent were all dead at the hands of Xu Cunxiao and his men, none survived!

Ye Qing’s eyes were also wide open, as he recognized Li Lianshan’s men as well. Seeing these brothers whom he had known before dying at the hands of these people, he was extremely distressed. In fact, just earlier at the hotel, his own brothers were killed by Wang Tian’an in the same way. These kinds of machines, like road rollers, might kill a few people when the masters are not prepared. But, once these masters are alert, the road rollers are completely useless!

Xu Cunxiao and his men leaped over the road rollers, and the flames behind them were finally cut off, allowing them to escape with their lives.

Xu Cunxiao turned back and glared at Ye Qing standing on the edge of the cliff, grinding his teeth with hatred: ”Ye, I will never let you go! If I catch you, I will have you flayed and sliced!”

”Don’t let me catch you, you motherfucker!” Li Lianshan roared: ”If I catch you, I’ll hack you a thousand times over. Bastard, have the guts to not run!”

Xu Cunxiao glanced at Li Lianshan, his eyes also filled with fierce light, and even harbored the intention to kill Li Lianshan. However, they didn’t dare to linger there and turned to run away hastily. If they lingered any longer, who knows what other tricks Ye Qing would have up his sleeve, like pouring more gasoline on fire, then they would really be in trouble.

”Damn his ancestors, eighteen generations back! Bastard, how dare you kill my brothers, I will kill them! I must kill them!” Li Lianshan continued to roar in fury, nearly going berserk with anger.

Ye Qing patted his shoulder, looking at the gradually dying flames below and couldn’t help sighing again. The chaos had just begun, and so many had died in one night. If a full-blown war breaks out, who knows how many more would die. The strife among these martial artists could result in casualties no less significant than a real war!

”Forget it, let’s head back!” Ye Qing said: ”Leave a group of brothers to clean up here.”

Li Lianshan nodded with lingering anger, although he wanted to lead his men to chase and kill Xu Cunxiao and his group, he was clear that his men were no match for Xu Cunxiao.

”Ye Zi, once we catch Xu Cunxiao, you have to let me kill him with my own hands!” Li Lianshan shouted loudly.

”Give it a rest, would you.” Ye Qing smiled and said: ”Want to kill him? Form a line. Each takes a stab at him; you’ll be waiting behind a hundred others.”

”What the hell, that many people want to kill him?” Li Lianshan’s eyes widened.

”No shit, the entire Southern Xingyi School wants to flay him alive!” Ye Qing replied, and truthfully, he was the one most eager to kill Xu Cunxiao because Tie Yongwen was murdered by Xu Cunxiao!

”This Bastard really has a lot of enemies!” Li Lianshan fumed: ”Even killing him requires queueing up, damn it, I really don’t think he will live many more days!”

Ye Qing did not speak, only leading everyone back to the city center. Without a doubt, the events of tonight would soon spread again.

In one night, over forty first-rank experts from Wang Tian’an’s side were killed by Ye Qing’s scheme, and six were captured. Tonight, Wang Tian’an suffered devastating losses. And from beginning to end, Ye Qing never directly confronted Wang Tian’an’s men. Once this news spreads, Ye Qing’s reputation will surely resonate throughout the Southern Six Provinces!

The first to receive this news was White Horse Chen San, who was closely monitoring Wang Tian’an’s actions at home, to guard against any possible sneak attacks from Wang Tian’an. Yet, before any news came from there, shocking news from Ye Qing’s side arrived.

The person who told Chen San about this was Chen Si, her face brimming with excitement and agitation. The previous two incidents had already made Chen San realise Ye Qing’s strength. But this incident was enough to elevate Chen San’s view of Ye Qing by several notches.

As expected, after hearing her words, Chen San’s eyes widened, he grabbed Chen Si’s arm, and demanded, ”You...you... you’re saying Ye Qing just killed nearly twenty of Wang Tian’an’s top experts?”

”Yes, exactly nineteen people!” Chen Si said loudly.

”How... how is that possible?” Chen San said in amazement: ”How did he do it?”

”By setting a fire.” Chen Si smiled faintly, and recounted the recent events, which made Chen San’s eyes glitter with keen interest.

”Bring me the map! Bring me the map!” After hearing Chen Si’s account, Chen San immediately began shouting.

Two of his subordinates brought over the map of Shenchuan City, and Chen San located the road from the hotel back to the city center that Ye Qing had taken. He studied it carefully and then burst into laughter: ”It’s just as I thought! It’s just as I thought! Hahaha, this Ye Qing is extraordinary. He actually laid a trap on this road, Xu Cunxiao, hailed as Western Province’s number one in strategy, is no match for Ye Qing, who has every move under control.”

Chen Si didn’t quite understand and asked curiously: ”Brother, Ye Qing has Xu Cunxiao’s every move under control? How... how is that possible? We didn’t even know Xu Cunxiao had made his move yet!”

Chen San laughed loudly: ”It doesn’t matter whether we know or not. The key point is, Wang Tian’an will definitely try to kill Ye Qing tonight. The previous two incidents made them realise Ye Qing is not easy to deal with, and Wang Tian’an would definitely not want to see us allying with Ye Qing. Therefore, they would have definitely tried to kill Ye Qing tonight.”

”Didn’t Wang Tian’an lead that group of people to Ye Qing’s hotel?” Chen Si said: ”Wasn’t he there to kill Ye Qing? Since Wang Tian’an has made a move, who would expect Xu Cunxiao to act as well? How did Ye Qing guess that Wang Tian’an would have this second backup plan?”
