Urban Martial Saint

Members of the Sha Men exchanged glances, as if contemplating their next move. After a while, Cui Yu stepped forward and shouted, ”Wang Tian’an, it’s really you. How dare you come to Shenchuan City, we’ve been looking for you. You killed so many of our Sha Men, I must kill you to avenge them!”

Wang Tian’an sneered and glanced at Cui Yu, saying, ”If you want to kill me, just come at any time, no need for these tricks. Mr. Cui, I advise you to save it, I’m not a fool, do you think I’d be fooled by such a petty trick? Setting a trap and expecting us to walk right into it? You’re too naive. Such tricks might work on children but dreaming of fooling me? Ridiculous!”

Seeing Wang Tian’an like this, the faces of the Sha Men members clearly showed frustration. Watching them, Wang Tian’an couldn’t help but burst into an even louder laughter, saying, ”Mr. Cui, I suggest you save your effort. Our target isn’t you tonight. But if you are really eager to throw your lives away, I can oblige. So, roll out of here before I lose my temper. Otherwise, I’ll start by killing you lot!”

The Sha Men members were infuriated, and Cui Yu said in a deep voice, ”Wang Tian’an, if you have the guts, fight us one on one. Is a disciple of Ning Qianshu only capable of bullying the few with the many?”

”Why should I fight you one on one when I have so many people?” Wang Tian’an shrugged and said, ”So what if I use my numbers against you, if you’re capable, gather just as many people. If you can’t do that, stop wasting words here and get lost quickly!”

”Mr. Wang, I can see that’s all the talent you have,” the voice of Ghost King Li Ruoyuan was sharp as he shouted, ”Hmph, so much for being a disciple of Ning Qianshu. To think Ning Qianshu was such a unique character, yet he ended up having such a cowardly disciple, truly shameful on his behalf!”

”How dare you speak like that!” A man beside Wang Tian’an immediately got furious, pointing at Ghost King Li Ruoyuan and shouted, ”If you’ve got the guts then don’t run, let’s have a proper fight!”

”Don’t be angry, let them curse, it’s not like we’ll lose a piece of flesh from it.” Wang Tian’an was unusually magnanimous today, smiling and stopping his companion. He could tell the Sha Men were trying to provoke him into approaching them. So, he deliberately did not get angry or fall for it, and by doing so, it was the Sha Men’s turn to get irritated. Their carefully prepared trap rendered useless, anyone would be unable to bear such frustration.

The Sha Men took turns to curse angrily. However, Wang Tian’an’s expression remained one of aloof amusement, as if he hadn’t heard what they were saying at all. After a long while of cursing, the members of the Sha Men were worn out, and they didn’t know what else to say.

”What’s the matter? Why stop cursing?” Wang Tian’an looked at them with a faint smile and said, ”Run out of things to say? Ah, look at you, can’t even curse properly, yet trying to provoke me. That’s all the skill you have, trying to make me angry? Hmph, laughable!”

The Sha Men members hung their heads in silence. At this moment, a firework suddenly soared from the hotel, strikingly dazzling against the star-filled sky.

Chen San and the others on the rooftop were carefully observing the situation in the woods, totally unprepared for such a sudden firework. When they saw the firework, both were taken aback. Chen Si, with his sharp eyes, pointed towards the edge of the woods and shouted, ”There’s someone over there!”

Chen San also noticed, and at the edge of the woods, a group of people in black had emerged at some unknown time. Hardly noticeable in the darkness, their number was not great, just enough to encircle the woods, and it was unclear what exactly was happening.

Chen San slightly frowned and turned to Ye Qing, saying, ”Ye brothers, the people Wang Tian’an brought are all first-rank experts. I advise you, don’t send your men to their deaths!”

Chen San presumed that Ye Qing sent these people to encircle Wang Tian’an’s men. Therefore, he offered him this piece of advice. Because he knew that on Ye Qing’s side, there were no real experts. Those brothers who didn’t know martial arts would be simply going to their deaths if they really tried to attack Wang Tian’an’s people. Moreover, the number of people at the edge of the woods wasn’t large; they were not sufficient to threaten Wang Tian’an’s group.

Ye Qing’s demeanor remained calm, and he smiled, ”Don’t worry, the real show is about to begin!”

”We still have to wait for that...?” Chen Si’s eyes widened. She thought this was Ye Qing’s arrangement. But from Ye Qing’s expression, it wasn’t his final move at all.

Chen San was full of surprise as well but did not say much, just continuing to observe.

Inside the woods, the Sha Men members saw the firework and immediately as if they received a signal, turned and ran.

A man beside Wang Tian’an anxiously said, ”Big Brother, they’ve sent the signal, should we go after them?”

Wang Tian’an was somewhat panicked, but upon seeing how the Sha Men were escaping, he immediately shook his head, saying, ”Don’t chase! These guys deliberately set off the firework as a signal to trick us into pursuing them; there must be traps ahead. Let’s just stay inside these woods, don’t run around, don’t step into their traps, and we won’t be in any danger!”

Hearing this, Wang Tian’an’s men instantly regained their composure, with no intent to pursue.

Chen San and Chen Si watched the situation below with astonishment. The Sha Men appeared to be almost out of the woods, and Wang Tian’an’s men showed no sign of chasing. If Ye Qing had any plans, they were useless now!

”Ye Qing, you...” Chen Si turned her head to speak, but Ye Qing gestured to her with a wave of his hand, smiling and saying, ”The play is on!”

Chen Si immediately turned his head to look, while Chen San’s eyes widened with eagerness to find out what exactly Ye Qing was planning with this mysterious move.

Just then, another firework burst into the air from the direction of the hotel, seemingly a signal. As the firework ascended, the people outside the grove suddenly all took out lighters, igniting a blaze. Immediately thereafter, everyone threw their lighters onto the ground, and the moment the flames touched the earth, they spread rapidly. In an instant, a ring of fire formed around the outside of the grove, enveloping the entire area within it.

Chen San and Chen Si’s eyes bulged. They finally understood what grand spectacle Ye Qing had been talking about: Ye Qing’s real trap was indeed this Sea of Fire!

”It’s gasoline! It’s gasoline!” Chen Si exclaimed excitedly: ”Did you sprinkle gasoline around the outside of this grove?”

Ye Qing smiled faintly, saying, ”That’s right, it’s gasoline. Only with gasoline can this grove be quickly set aflame, turning it into a Sea of Fire!”

Chen San couldn’t help but clench his fists. With this setup by Ye Qing, it seemed that even Wang Tian’an might not be able to make it out alive. This trap was truly the ultimate attack!

”What about the people from Sha Men?” Chen Si asked urgently.

”Don’t worry, just look over there,” Ye Qing pointed and instructed. Chen Si followed the direction of his gesture and saw that in that part of the grove, there was a small gap that was not aflame. The people from Sha Men had run towards it and were escaping from the grove through that small opening.

”You had already arranged a way out for them!” Chen Si nodded repeatedly, impressed by Ye Qing’s comprehensive planning.

Ye Qing just smiled and didn’t reply. As the people from Sha Men emerged from the gap, several individuals immediately rushed up and poured several buckets of gasoline there. With fires already burning nearby, the gasoline caught alight as soon as it was spread, swiftly sealing off the gap. The entire grove had turned into a Sea of Fire. Under these circumstances, it seemed impossible for anyone to escape!

Seeing this, Chen San and Chen Si were brimming with excitement and thrills. With this move, Ye Qing had not only proven his prowess but more crucially, he had eliminated many of Wang Tian’an’s people from Western Province. Even Wang Tian’an himself would likely die here, practically avenging the Ye brothers in a stroke, and how could they not be thrilled!

”So this is your plan!” Chen San nodded slowly, saying, ”Good, very good.”

Chen Si, however, was somewhat puzzled and asked, ”If you were planning to incinerate these people, why did you allow those from Sha Men to enter in the first place? Isn’t that very risky?”

”The people from Sha Men entered to distract them, so they wouldn’t notice what was happening outside the grove. The real deathblow was set up outside. I needed to ensure that Wang Tian’an and his men had no time to check the situation outside the grove, allowing my people to arrange everything. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have had the time to set up the gasoline,” Ye Qing explained.

”I see,” Chen Si suddenly understood and nodded, asking further, ”But why didn’t you prepare the gasoline ahead of time?”

Before Ye Qing could speak, Chen San laughed and said, ”Gasoline has such a strong smell; had it been prepared beforehand, would Wang Tian’an and his men have entered the grove? Wang Tian’an is no fool; he observed this grove for a long time before choosing it, so how could he just carelessly walk in?”

In fact, even Chen San and Chen Si hadn’t noticed those people outside spreading the gasoline. The night was too dark, and all their attention was focused on the actions of those from Sha Men; who would pay attention to the people outside?

Finally understanding, Chen Si nodded repeatedly, saying, ”That’s right, that’s right, I hadn’t thought of that at all.”

Chen San chuckled, replying, ”If you had thought of it, then the plan wouldn’t have been so ingenious.”

”Bro, you’re really underestimating me!” Chen Si couldn’t help but pout.

”I’m not underestimating you; it’s just that when it comes to strategy, you still have some way to go to catch up with Ye Qing,” Chen San said with a smile, then turned to look at Ye Qing, adding, ”There’s still something I don’t quite understand, though.”

Ye Qing replied with a smile, ”If Third Brother Chen has any questions, feel free to ask.”

Chen San asked, ”You sent the people from Sha Men in to distract Wang Tian’an and his men, even deliberately leading them to chase after them, with the purpose of diverting their attention. But have you considered what would happen if Wang Tian’an and his men really took the bait and went after them? Wouldn’t your preparation then be in vain?”

Ye Qing responded with a smile, waving his hand, and said, ”Open that thing up.”
