Urban Martial Saint

In the early morning, a black sedan slowly drove out of the Shenchuan City highway exit. Sitting in the car was none other than East State Poisonous Praying Mantis, Huangfu Ziyu.

”Miss, should we go and find Ye Qing now?” the dwarf whispered beside her.

”No need!” Huangfu Ziyu waved her jade-like delicate hand and said, ”Let’s wait until we have some results before looking for him. That way, he will owe me a second favor!”

”Oh!” The dwarf nodded, patted the driver White Wolf on the shoulder, and said, ”Stick to the original plan!”

Driver White Wolf turned the car around and headed straight for the suburbs. That night, Shenchuan City was destined to be anything but peaceful!

Inside Gang Leader Shangguan’s villa, Ye Qing and Black Bear burst into the room. Front and back, they immediately blocked all six people inside, startling everyone in the room.

Gang Leader Shangguan wanted to move back, but seeing Black Bear bursting in, he quickly moved towards the center.

”Gang Leader Li!” Shangguan Tian anxiously looked at Li Wenyuan. Facing Ye Qing and Black Bear, he felt very uncertain.

Li Wenyuan was actually quite nervous too, but he pressed the call button in his pocket, and all he could do then was wait for the people he had arranged to come and help.

”Stop them!” Li Wenyuan shouted loudly, hoping his men could buy some time.

”Catch them!” Ye Qing also shouted loudly, because he had begun to sense that something was off.

According to the original plan, he, along with Du Tianyi and Black Bear, was supposed to rush in together. He was to attract the attention of the people inside while Du Tianyi and Black Bear joined him. But now, both he and Black Bear had entered, yet Du Tianyi hadn’t, causing Ye Qing to feel uneasy. Had Du Tianyi run into some trouble?

Ye Qing knew that Li Wenyuan was cunning and that Shangguan Tian was definitely not foolish. These two men surely wouldn’t be unprepared. With Du Tianyi missing, Ye Qing became alert. As he shouted loudly, he charged forward to block the four men, hoping that Black Bear would quickly capture Li Wenyuan and Shangguan Tian.

Indeed, the four men inside were strong. Ye Qing fought with all his might, yet they still managed to hold him off. However, the idea of them getting past Ye Qing was impossible; being held back by him alone, they were unable to go and assist Li Wenyuan and Shangguan Tian.

Meanwhile, Black Bear directly charged at Li Wenyuan and Shangguan Tian, aiming to capture them first. The two of them were shocked and hurriedly stood up, circling around the sofa to avoid Black Bear. After running a couple of laps, Black Bear couldn’t catch them right away.

Despite this, Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan were both very panicky. If they were caught by Black Bear, it would be the end for them!

”Gang Leader Li, didn’t you say you had it all arranged? Where are your people?” gang Leader Shangguan desperately asked as he ran.

Li Wenyuan also looked frustrated and said, ”Damn, they were supposed to come help, and they were already hiding inside your villa. Why aren’t they coming out now?”

”Exactly who did you get to help?” Shangguan Tian asked in surprise. What kind of expert could Li Wenyuan possibly find?

Just as Li Wenyuan was about to answer, suddenly, Black Bear, who had been unable to catch them, grabbed the sofa and flipped it over.

Caught off guard, Li Wenyuan was struck by the sofa on his legs, cried out in pain, and fell down. At that moment, escape became impossible for him. Seeing Black Bear charging toward him, suddenly, the window was shattered by someone who burst into the room. The man moved with extreme speed, almost instantly reaching Black Bear. Just as Black Bear was about to grab Li Wenyuan, the man threw a punch at Black Bear’s chest. Black Bear, who was like a towering iron tower, was actually forced back two steps by the blow, letting out a muffled grunt.

Seeing the turn of events, Ye Qing’s expression changed, and he said sternly, ”Shen Baichuan!”

The man who had burst in was indeed Shen Baichuan!

”You finally made it!” Li Wenyuan took a deep breath and said, ”Why did only you come? Where are the others?”

As they were talking, several more people walked in through the window. Leading them was Tie Yongwen’s son, Wei Hua, and the men beside him were from the Xingyi School, all direct disciples of Tie Yongwen.

Seeing these people, Ye Qing frowned. He finally understood whom Li Wenyuan and Shangguan Tian were relying on; they had actually colluded with Shen Baichuan and the people from the Xingyi School.

”Ye Qing, you sure are lucky!” Shen Baichuan sneered at Ye Qing and said, ”I thought you would die out there. Unexpectedly, you managed to find that director a daughter and even killed your way back here. Humph, what’s the use of being lucky? Whether you can survive tonight is another matter. Lucky, but sadly, short-lived!”

Ye Qing ignored Shen Baichuan and glanced at Black Bear, asking, ”Black Bear, how are you?”

”I’m fine!” Black Bear’s face was beet red. He had been punched by Shen Baichuan and had internal injuries, but he didn’t want Ye Qing to worry.

Ye Qing frowned, knowing that Black Bear was not on the same level as Shen Baichuan and his men. Moreover, with so many people from Xingyi School together with Shen Baichuan, it seemed likely that he would be at a disadvantage tonight.

”Senior Tie!” Ye Qing cried out loudly, ”I came here tonight to investigate the murder of Uncle Tie. Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan must have some clues. They might even be colluding with the killer. Don’t be deceived by them!”

”Ye family’s boy, after all this, you still want to deceive me?” Tie Weihua’s face was cold as he shouted angrily, ”You killed my father and then hid in the tea house, thinking you could hide forever? I’ve been waiting for you for several days. You finally came out of the tea house. Tonight, I will kill you myself to avenge my father!”

”Senior Tie, Ye Qing is not the murderer!” Just then, Du Tianyi finally rushed in and yelled loudly.

Seven or eight people followed Du Tianyi running inside. As soon as they rushed in, they surrounded Du Tianyi in the middle. It seemed that Du Tianyi had been entangled by these people just now.

This brought commotion to the hall. Ye Qing, Du Tianyi, and Black Bear now seemed quite outnumbered. On the side of Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan, not only were there four bodyguards, but also an expert like Shen Baichuan, along with the people from Xingyi School.

Although the individual strength of these people from Xingyi School was not significant, when added together, they were not to be underestimated. At least, even if Ye Qing and Du Tianyi teamed up, they might not be able to defeat so many from Xingyi School. After all, these were all direct disciples of Tie Yongwen!

”Du Tianyi, shut up!” Tie Weihua glared furiously at Du Tianyi and shouted, ”My father was killed by this traitor. Not only did you not seek revenge, but you also colluded with him multiple times. You’re simply in cahoots with him. You’ve been expelled from Xingyi School now, and you have no relationship with us anymore. You have no right to meddle in the matters of our school. I haven’t killed you just because of our brotherhood, but don’t think that I really wouldn’t dare!”

Du Tianyi looked sorrowful. His master, Tie Yongwen, was killed, and he was expelled by Tie Weihua. Now, most people in the Xingyi School viewed him as an enemy, which was hard to bear. Nevertheless, he still chose to believe in Ye Qing.

”Senior Tie, there’s too much mystery in this matter. I can assure you that Ye Qing would never be the murderer of Master!” Du Tianyi shouted loudly, ”Senior Tie, Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan definitely know something. If we investigate them, we can surely uncover the truth. You can kill Ye Qing if you must, but you cannot let the real killer get away scot-free!”

Hearing this, Li Wenyuan immediately retorted coldly, ”Mr. Du, I don’t quite understand what you’re saying. What do you mean by Shangguan Leader and I knowing something? What do I know? Senior Tie is a predecessor I deeply respect. I also want to clear up his death. Moreover, all the evidence points to Ye Qing as the murderer. Why are you still speaking for him at this time? Aren’t you afraid of chilling Senior Tie’s spirit? Even if you don’t seek revenge for Senior Tie, don’t stop Sect Leader Tie from fulfilling his filial duty.”

Li Wenyuan’s words made Tie Weihua’s expression even colder, and he glared angrily at Du Tianyi, saying sternly, ”Du Tianyi, I warn you again. If you dare to obstruct us, I will kill you!”

After speaking, Tie Weihua turned to Ye Qing and shouted angrily, ”Kill him, to avenge my father!”

The dozen or so men following Tie Weihua immediately charged over, enclosing Ye Qing in the middle.

Shangguan Tian immediately instructed, ”You four help as well, to avenge Senior Tie!”

The four bodyguards also approached, making a total of sixteen people surrounding Ye Qing. All sixteen were skilled, which now truly posed a danger to Ye Qing in the middle.

”Captain, I’m coming to help you!” Black Bear shouted, trying to come over, but after just two steps, a leg swept towards him from the side.

Black Bear immediately blocked it with his arm, but he was still swept back a step. Turning his head, he saw Shen Baichuan standing nearby with a cold smirk, ”Big guy, if you can get past me, you can go help him!”

”Black Bear, don’t fight him!” Ye Qing shouted deeply while quickly stepping forward, using the Stick to the Mountain move to charge at the person in the front.

Ye Qing knew that these people were all strong, and he needed to fight quickly. The longer the delay, the more disadvantageous it would be for him.

The person was unprepared, and Ye Qing, surrounded by so many people, dared to strike first. Caught off-guard, he could only use his arms to block. But the power of Ye Qing’s Stick to the Mountain move was immense, even though he blocked it, both arms were snapped back, and he was sent flying backward, knocking over a table.

Seeing this, the remaining fifteen immediately rushed over, surrounding Ye Qing and starting a chaotic fight.

Although Ye Qing was formidable, it’s true that one man could hardly match many hands. Especially since there were fifteen skilled fighters around him, thirty fists in total, Ye Qing was overwhelmed. He desperately dodged most attacks but still got punched and kicked a few times, in a severely disheveled state.
