Urban Martial Saint

The officers looked at each other, none daring to speak, for they had all made a move.

”No one speaks, then you all made a move!” Ye Qing took a step back and said, ”Alright, now I give you two choices. Either come up and fight me, and if you win, you can leave. If you do not want to fight, then break an arm yourself and get out!”

The officers all changed color, realizing that Ye Qing was definitely no slouch; fighting Ye Qing would surely result in a loss.

Seeing that no one dared to move, Ye Qing said methodically, ”You can also come at me together!”

Finally, the officers found some spirit, and one of them said in a deep voice, ”It’s your word, if we beat you, we can leave, and you’re not allowed to threaten us with Miss Lu!”

”Since I’m fighting you, I definitely won’t use anyone to threaten you!” Ye Qing said coldly, ”Are you going to fight or not?”

The officers looked at each other again, exchanged glances, and suddenly charged at Ye Qing together. They all spread their arms, intending to restrain Ye Qing by capitalizing on their numbers.

To Ye Qing, these officers were not worth considering. Facing their aggressive charge, Ye Qing took a half step forward and unleashed a Half-Step Collapse Fist, striking the chest of the man in front.

The man was sent flying backward, breaking several ribs, and fell to the ground, unable to even scream, with fresh blood constantly spilling from the corners of his mouth.

The remaining officers’ complexions all changed, but they were determined, immediately surrounding Ye Qing, aiming to encircle him.

However, their strength was far too inferior to Ye Qing’s. Back in the Special Forces, Ye Qing could take on two or three well-trained Special Forces soldiers alone. After leaving, his Inner Strength had improved due to the Breathing Method from the Acupoint Seeking Technique, and after Ou Keren had pierced thirty-six major acupoints in his body using the Golden Needle Acupoint Piercing method, his strength soared even more. Following that, he had learned so much from Tie Yongwen that he was no longer the young man who had just left the service; his strength had more than doubled, making it too easy to fight these officers.

Ye Qing easily kicked one of them to the ground, breaking through their circle. He then grabbed another person’s arm, twisted forcefully, and amid the man’s screams, his arm was dislocated by Ye Qing.

The last two, witnessing such a scene, were instantly petrified and turned to run out of the ward. However, they were too slow, and Ye Qing caught them by the neck and pulled them back.

”We agreed that only if you won, you could leave. Since you haven’t won, break an arm!” Ye Qing twisted the arms of the two, dislocating them without a shred of pity, just as they had tormented Ding Ding and Skinny.

In less than two minutes, Ye Qing had fought with the five officers, all of whom were seriously injured, writhing and screaming on the ground. The other officers outside were stunned, including his close aid, eyes wide open, as he now finally understood what a real master was!

Ye Qing gave a cold glance at the five officers and said, ”Get out!”

The five officers immediately scrambled out of the ward, fleeing far from the place, not daring to look back even once.

Taking in the sight of the mother and daughter huddled and weeping in the ward, Ye Qing’s anger flared again. He whipped his head around to Zhao Jun standing outside and said sternly, ”You, come in!”

”Me?” Zhang Jun was taken aback, then shook his head repeatedly, saying, ”What… What does this have to do with me? I… I didn’t hit them, it’s not my business…”

”Come in!” Ye Qing shouted again. Zhang Jun wanted to refuse but was pushed into the ward by several officers. Zhang Xia was also pushed into the ward by a few officers.

Ye Qing dragged the two inside, closed the ward door behind him, and turned to look at the people in the room, saying sternly, ”She’s like this, and you still won’t let her go?”

”You… you let go of Xiaoli first…” Seeing no escape, Zhang Jun tried to appear calm and said sternly, ”I warn you, if Xiaoli loses even a hair, I’ll definitely kill you!”

”Big talk!” Ye Qing glanced at Zhou Guiting next to him and said, ”Are you alright?”

Zhou Guiting barely shook her head, probably too weak; even shaking her head seemed to cost her a lot of energy.

”Don’t worry, I’m here, no one can hurt you!” Ye Qing said, then grabbed Lu Xiaoli by the hair and dragged her to the side of the bed. He had no intention of showing mercy to this bully who rode on her father’s coattails.

Lu Xiaoli screamed in pain, and the complexions of several people around Zhang Jun changed dramatically. One of the men by Zhang Jun’s side rushed forward and yelled, ”Fucking let go of my sister-in-law!”

Ye Qing wouldn’t let him get close. Before he could approach, Ye Qing punched him back.

”If you want to die, come at me!” Ye Qing shouted coldly.

”Damn it, I’m going all out!” Zhang Jun roared as he charged forward, trying to show off in front of Lu Xiaoli. Unfortunately, in front of Ye Qing, this was nothing more than a death wish.

Just as Zhang Jun was about to reach Ye Qing, Ye Qing’s right arm swept across fiercely. The punch that Zhang Jun had just thrown was effortlessly deflected by Ye Qing, and at the same time, Ye Qing’s right hand had already grabbed his shoulder, giving a push, and Zhang Jun fell to the ground without any resistance.

”Big brother!” Two other men yelled and charged over, but Ye Qing was not polite to them. With just his right hand, he picked up a small table beside the bed and hurled it towards the two men.

The small table wasn’t too heavy, but it would be difficult for a normal person to pick it up with one hand. Yet, Ye Qing not only lifted the table but also threw it. The most critical part was the force behind the throw, which knocked both men to the ground.

This series of actions stunned everyone present. They finally understood what would happen if they continued to fight with Ye Qing. So, no one dared to make another move!

Ye Qing stretched out a foot, stepping on Zhang Jun’s chest, and looked coldly at the people opposite him, saying in a deep voice, ”There’s a saying, ’A day as husband and wife brings a hundred days of grace.’ Even if the love between husband and wife is gone, you’ve been married for so many years. Besides, she has borne a child for your family. Divorce is fine, but why must you push someone to despair?”

Several people on this side looked at each other, and Zhang Jun’s mother shrilly asked, ”You... who are you to her?”

Ye Qing replied coldly, ”This is the first time I’ve met her, so there’s no relationship to speak of. However, I simply can’t stand to watch your behavior!”

”With no relation, what right do you have to meddle in our family affairs!” Madam Zhang angrily said, ”My son no longer loves her, and he wants to divorce her, so why does she keep dragging her feet and refuse to divorce? Zhou Guiting, don’t you have any shame? My son doesn’t want you anymore, so why do you still have the nerve to cling to him?”

Ye Qing turned his head to look at Zhou Guiting. The pitiful woman’s face was still pale, her eyes tightly closed, but there were clearly tears welling from the corners of her eyes.

”Divorce is not child’s play. If your son married her, he should be responsible for her until the end. Now, with just a simple ’no love left,’ he doesn’t want to be responsible anymore?” Ye Qing gave Zhang Jun a cold glance and continued, ”Besides, your so-called ’no love left’ is just because he’s found a new love. For a deputy director’s daughter, you abandon your wife and child. What kind of man are you to judge others?”

Ye Qing looked up and swept his gaze over the Zhang family members, and said coldly, ”And you parents and family members, ’the fault of the son is the father’s failing.’ If you can raise such a son, then it seems you are not much better!”

Madam Zhang furiously retorted, ”This is our family business, you... what right do you have to interfere? Besides, the love between my son and Xiaoli is real. Of course, as his family, we should support him!”

”I said, I can’t stand the way you do things!” Ye Qing shouted coldly, then added, ”Climbing up to a deputy director’s daughter and driving the previous wife to a breaking point, huh, you’ll regret it one day! Real love, I’d like to see just how long this so-called real love of yours lasts.”

Under Ye Qing’s foot, Zhang Jun shouted angrily, ”Quit acting all self-righteous here, damn it, if I let you leave here alive today, then I damn well won’t take the name Zhang anymore!”

Ye Qing glanced at Zhang Jun coldly and said, ”It looks like you’ll really have to change your name then!”

As he spoke, Ye Qing suddenly kicked Zhang Jun in the face. Caught off guard, the kick made Zhang Jun bleed from his mouth and nose, looking extremely wretched.

”You dare to hit my husband, you... you just wait...” Lu Xiaoli trembled all over, pointing at Ye Qing and yelling angrily, ”Once my dad gets here, you’ll learn your lesson, he won’t let you off!”

”Then I’ll wait!” Ye Qing said, and then gave Lu Xiaoli a kick too. The deputy director’s darling daughter fell down next to Zhang Jun, making them a pair of miserable lovebirds.

Ye Qing ignored the two people at his feet; they were, after all, right under his control, and he could take their lives at any moment. He moved a chair and sat beside the bed, coldly watching the Zhang family members, and said, ”You wanted Zhou Guiting to divorce Zhang Jun, right? Where’s the agreement? Hand it over.”

”What do you want to do?” Madam Zhang looked at Ye Qing warily.

”Sign it, of course!” Ye Qing said coldly, ”Since you insist on making Zhou Guiting divorce Zhang Jun, then I’ll help you accomplish that. However, I hope you won’t regret it later!”

”Regret?” The Zhang family members exchanged looks, bursting into laughter, ”If it wasn’t for her refusing to sign, this marriage would have ended a long time ago. Regret? Do you really think that wretch is a treasure?”

Ye Qing sneered silently; they could grovel to such an extent for the daughter of a deputy director. But Zhou Guiting is the daughter of Liu Changping, whose status is definitely much higher than that of a deputy director. What kind of reaction would the Zhang family have when they learn about Zhou Guiting’s identity?

Ye Qing took the agreement from Madam Zhang’s hands and turned to give it to Zhou Guiting, ”Ms. Ting, it’s meaningless to keep dragging this out. It’s better to just sign and be done with it. Rest assured, without them, your life will only get better!”
