Urban Martial Saint

Dinner was still at Lin Dade’s house, who by now had pretty much taken Ye Qingwang and Old Wang Ba as his friends, even going so far as to buy two additional dishes, making it a richer meal than at noon.

For Ye Qingwang and Old Wang Ba, these things weren’t very important. However, Lin Dade’s few children were thrilled and devoured the food non-stop; they consumed most of the dishes.

Wang Cui kept telling the three children to stop, but the children were young, unaware of those manners, which embarrassed Wang Cui and Lin Dade immensely.

However, Ye Qing and Old Wang Ba didn’t mind and had their dinner. Wang Cui then took out the food she had specifically set aside earlier and delivered it to the mother and daughter next door.

Having eaten here twice, Ye noticed that Wang Cui had brought food to the mother and daughter next door two times. It must be said, the Lin Dade family truly had kind hearts; even though they were quite poor themselves, they still thought of others, which earned Ye’s deep respect for them.

After the meal, Ye Qing and Old Wang Ba made an excuse to go out for a walk, not allowing Lin Dade to accompany them. They didn’t want to involve Lin Dade in this matter!

Old Wang Ba said, ”Lu Jiangong has a lover who lives in the western villa district. I’ve heard he goes there every night. If we just wait there, we’re sure to see him!”

Ye Qing had no objections, and the two took a taxi directly to the western villa district. Having been there during the day, Old Wang Ba knew the place well and brought Ye directly to one of the villas.

Old Wang Ba told Ye Qing, ”This is it, I came here in the afternoon. But, the courtyard wall is too high; I’ve never been inside, so I don’t know the situation.”

”You wait here; I’ll go in and take a look,” Ye Qing instructed Old Wang Ba to hide in an unoccupied dark spot, looked around to ensure no one was around, took a running start to the courtyard’s wall, and leaped about a meter high. Just as his body was about to fall, he stepped on the wall with the tip of his foot, propelling himself another half meter. The distance was just enough; he reached and grabbed the top of the wall. Using his arms, Ye Qing leveraged himself up and directly flipped onto the top of the wall.

Old Wang Ba watched dazzled and whispered, ”Damn, with that skill, not becoming a thief would be a waste!”

Ye Qing lay on the top of the courtyard wall and looked down; the yard was very quiet, without any noise. He flipped over the wall, landed, and rolled on impact to absorb it without making a sound.

The villa wasn’t large; the courtyard could fit about two or three cars. Next to it was a loft, brightly lit inside, suggesting someone was in.

Ye Qing quietly approached the loft and peeped through the window. Although the lights were bright inside, it was empty. He carefully listened for a moment by the wall and, hearing no sounds, quietly pushed open the door and entered.

Although the room lights were on, it was serenely quiet, except for some faint noises coming from the second floor. Ye Qing silently climbed the stairs and heard the sounds coming from one of the rooms; it was the moans and heavy breathing of a woman. Without guessing, he knew what was happening inside.

Ye Qing frowned slightly; could it be such a coincidence that he encountered Lu Jiangong just as he arrived?

He tiptoed to the room’s doorstep, where a red high heel lay fallen; the floor inside scattered with clothes, including some women’s underwear, stirring a tumult of feelings.

Ye Qing took a deep breath to keep his mind clear and leaned by the door to peek inside. He saw a couple intertwined on the bed, the girl quite pretty, and the man handsome, appearing only in his twenties.

Ye Qing was startled; he had thought the man was Lu Jiangong, yet it turned out to be a young man. What was going on? Was Lu Jiangong not here, or had he entered the wrong room?

Just as Ye Qing was filled with doubts, the man stood up and laughed, ”Okay, I should be going now!”

”Why the hurry?” The woman clung to the man’s waist, saying, ”Stay with me a little longer!”

The man replied, ”I’d like to stay, but, the old guy will be back soon. What if he sees me here? We’d both be done for!”

”Don’t worry about it; that old undying Lu Jiangong doesn’t even know where he is now, he definitely won’t arrive before ten!” The woman tightened her grip around the man’s waist and laughed, ”It’s just past eight; we still have time to have some fun!”

Just as Ye Qing was about to leave, hearing this, he immediately stopped. He knew he was in the right place and at the right time. Lu Jiangong’s lover was cheating; this was an unexpected find, sparking a plan in Ye Qing’s mind!

The man chuckled, wrapped his arms around the woman, and was about to push her back onto the bed when a cough suddenly came from the doorway.

The two were startled; the woman let out a scream, frantically grabbing the quilt next to her to cover herself. The man’s face also changed, and he instinctively crouched down, tremblingly saying, ”Not... not my fault…”

The person at the doorway was Ye Qing. Seeing the woman cover herself up, Ye Qing then walked into the room. Seeing a stranger had entered, the two inside were somewhat surprised, especially the man, who looked at Ye Qing in shock, saying, ”Who... who are you?”

Ye Qing ignored him, picked up the clothes from the floor, threw them at him, and commanded, ”Get dressed!”

The man hesitated, then took the clothes and hurriedly dressed.

Once clothed, he seemed to gain a bit of courage. Frowning at Ye Qing, he demanded, ”Hey, what are you doing? Do you know this is a private villa?”

”So what?” Ye Qing glanced at him and said, ”Are you planning to call the police? Let them see that the Deputy Director Lu’s lover is cheating on him behind his back and even saying he is inadequate?”

This remark changed the expressions of both, the man and woman looked at each other, and the man awkwardly chuckled, ”My friend, you... you misunderstood, I was just talking off the top of my head, no other meaning. So, what... what would you like to do?”

Ye Qing didn’t speak, he just lifted his hand and chopped the man on the back of his head with a palm strike. Struck by this blow, the man immediately fainted, slowly collapsing to the ground.

”Ah!” The woman screamed in shock, terrified.

”Shut up!” Ye Qing pointed at her, and the woman instantly closed her mouth, looking at Ye Qing in terror, her partially exposed chest seemingly forgotten.

Actually, for her at this moment, surviving was the most crucial thing. As for exposing herself, that was insignificant. If it could save her life, she would even be willing to sell her body!

Unfortunately, Ye Qing didn’t spare her a second glance, coldly saying, ”Is this your boyfriend?”

The woman looked at Ye Qing in fright, not knowing how to respond.

Ye Qing furrowed his brow, and said sternly, ”I’m asking you, is he your boyfriend?”

”No... he isn’t...” the woman replied tremulously.

”Is that so?” Ye Qing glanced at her, then suddenly kicked towards the man’s head.

”Don’t!” The woman cried out in alarm.

”Didn’t you say he wasn’t your boyfriend?” Ye Qing asked coldly.

”This... this...” The woman was completely confused and didn’t know how to answer anymore.

”You don’t want him to die?” Ye Qing asked.

This time the woman nodded, she truly didn’t want the man to die.

”You don’t want to die either, do you!” Ye Qing continued.

The woman nodded even more, she obviously didn’t want to die either.

Ye Qing said coldly, ”If Deputy Director Lu finds out about this, neither of you will live!”

”What... what exactly do you want?” the woman asked Ye Qing, trembling, ”Do you want money, or people, I can give you either. Please, just... don’t tell Deputy Director Lu!”

As she spoke, she let go of the blanket wrapping her body, revealing her naked form, clearly trying to seduce Ye Qing.

”Wrap yourself in the blanket!” Ye Qing ordered coldly.

The woman was startled by Ye Qing’s icy voice; she hadn’t expected that her body would fail to attract this man. She dared not defy Ye Qing’s words and hurriedly wrapped her body with the blanket, saying tremulously, ”How much money do you want, I’ll find a way to get it for you, as long as you don’t let this out...”

”I don’t want money!” Ye Qing slowly shook his head, and said, ”I need you to do something for me!”

”What is it?” the woman asked, surprised.

Ye Qing said, ”Help me ask Deputy Director Lu about something.”

”What?” The woman was even more surprised; why would such a task require coercion?

”You help me ask him...” Just as Ye Qing was about to speak, he suddenly furrowed his brows. He initially wanted the woman to help him inquire from Deputy Director Lu about the child’s situation. But then, reconsidering, he remembered that Chen Xueru was almost certainly killed by Deputy Director Lu. If this woman asked about it, Deputy Director Lu would surely become alert, making it impossible to learn anything, and even putting the woman at risk.

”You don’t need to ask him anything, I want you to help me find some evidence of Deputy Director Lu’s crimes!” Ye Qing said sternly, ”The best would be evidence that could condemn him!”

Ye Qing planned to take this evidence and personally confront Deputy Director Lu; this way, it would be more effective. Moreover, by doing this, Ye Qing wouldn’t have to face Deputy Director Lu directly. With this evidence, Deputy Director Lu wouldn’t dare do anything to him, this was the perfect solution!
