The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 464: Chapter 463: Are You Okay?

Seeing Wei Zhirong and Wen Tao, Yiyi subconsciously breathed a sigh of relief. It was good that the two of them were okay, but when she saw the bruises on their faces, her eyes flared with anger. ”Let them go now.”

At this moment, Wei Zixiao also rushed over at top speed. Seeing his sister, he almost burst into tears, and when he saw that Wen Tao was unharmed, he truly relaxed. He then looked at the man and said, ”Hurry up and let them go.”

”Ha ha... Are you guys stupid or do you think I’m stupid? I advise you to stop, or these two women might not see tomorrow’s sun.” The man, holding Wei Zhirong and Wen Tao, showed a very cold expression.

Wen Tao and Wei Zhirong were initially very happy to see someone coming to rescue them. However, seeing themselves become a burden and being threatened, they hurriedly said to Yiyi, ”Yiyi, don’t worry about us.”

But as soon as they said this, both felt the grip around their necks tighten as the person holding them squeezed even harder.

Seeing this, Yiyi quickly grabbed the leader lying on the ground and said to the man opposite, ”Let them go, or I’ll kill him.”

The cold-faced man laughed heartily, ”Go ahead and kill him. Do you think that would soften my heart?”

Upon hearing this, Yiyi directly stabbed the leader.

As blood gushed out, the leader regained consciousness from the pain. However, it was too late as he had already been poisoned by Yiyi. He could not muster any strength to resist, only able to look at the person opposite and weakly said, ”Leng Ning, quickly... let them go.”

This Leng Ning was a newly recruited capable assistant, extremely skilled.

They had been able to pull off several big deals all because of him. Seeing him holding the hostages now, they gave him a look of admiration.

This group was almost wiped out here. Luckily, Leng Ning was quick-witted and managed to bring out those two hostages. They should have taken these two women along when they first came out; otherwise, they wouldn’t be in such a passive situation now.

However, the opposite Leng Ning didn’t even blink, instead squeezing Wei Zhirong and Wen Tao’s necks tighter, saying, ”Make them all stop, or these two flowerlike women will lose their lives.”

The leader’s life was of no concern to him. However, he wanted to save the lives of the others in the gang because keeping the group intact served his purposes. He couldn’t let everyone perish here.

And seeing Leng Ning completely ignore him, the leader felt furious, ”Leng Ning, you... you dare to disregard me.”

Yiyi saw that the man showed no sign of backing down and stabbed the leader once more.

However, Leng Ning didn’t care at all about the leader’s life and remained unmoved. But his hands didn’t slow down either as he lifted Wei Zhirong and Wen Tao again.

Gu Tingyu had already taken care of the two people in front of him. Seeing the situation on Yiyi’s side, he quickly ran over, originally intending to rescue them while Leng Ning was off guard, but he hadn’t expected Leng Ning to be so alert.

Leng Ning noticed Gu Tingyu and once again threatened, ”I advise you not to act recklessly, or if you scare me into slipping, their lives might be lost.”

Seeing this, Gu Tingyu no longer advanced.

At this moment, Wei Zixiao rushed forward and asked, ”What do you want, quickly release my sister and Little Tao.”

”Didn’t I just make it clear enough? Make them all stop and let us go.”

Hearing this, Wei Zixiao instinctively looked at Gu Tingyu. Although he knew these people couldn’t be allowed to escape, especially since it was their mission, he also couldn’t bear to watch his real sister lose her life in front of him, so his heart felt as if it were on the fire.

Gu Tingyu nodded and said, ”Alright, I hope you also keep your word and release the two of them.”

Leng Ning chuckled and said, ”Relax, as long as you let us go, I’ll naturally release them.”

Hearing this, Gu Tingyu signaled, and those brought by him immediately stopped moving.

As for those with Yun Chu, they had already stopped when Yiyi ceased her actions.

Seeing the surroundings quiet down, Leng Ning looked directly at those fallen on the ground and said, ”Hurry and come over here.”

They all staggered to their feet and then stood behind Leng Ning. However, the leader wanted to follow but, being poisoned and wounded by two stabs, had no strength to stand.

One of the subordinates, showing a bit of conscience, looked at the leader and said, ”Brother Leng, the boss... is still in their hands.”

Leng Ning glanced at the leader disdainfully, but thinking these people could still be of use, he nodded and said, ”Go and help him over.”

The subordinate was loyal and, despite some fear, obediently went forward to support the leader.

Yiyi raised an eyebrow at him but said nothing. She was sure that Leng Ning truly didn’t value the leader, as he never even thought about asking for the antidote upon knowing the leader was poisoned. He might have actually wanted the leader dead.

But these matters didn’t concern her, so when the leader also reached the other side, Yiyi directly said, ”Now can you let them go?”

Leng Ning sneered and said, ”Of course, once we safely leave, I’ll release them. Okay, now all of you step back.”

Yiyi didn’t say much and stepped aside. This Leng Ning was truly cunning. She had considered using poison, but with him holding Wei Zhirong in one hand and Wen Tao in the other, using them as shields, she was afraid it would also poison them, which made her hesitant.

Leng Ning, seeing this, nodded with satisfaction and then looked at Gu Tingyu, saying, ”You, too, back off.”

Gu Tingyu naturally stepped aside.

Seeing their cooperation, Leng Ning’s lips curved into a slight smile. But before he could celebrate, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in both hands, forcing him to release his grip on the hostages.

Yiyi, having kept an eye on Leng Ning’s side, immediately rushed over upon noticing the situation, pulling Wei Zhirong and Wen Tao behind her and punching Leng Ning, sending him flying.

Gu Tingyu, no slower than Yiyi, quickly brought his team under control to restrain those behind Leng Ning.

Seeing this, Yiyi finally showed a smile. But before she could ask about Wei Zhirong and Wen Tao’s condition, someone had already rushed anxiously to Wei Zhirong’s side, ”Are you alright?”

The person who came was Xie Yuanzhou, who was also the one who shot Leng Ning’s wrist from the shadows earlier.
