The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 453: Chapter 452: Showing Support

Hearing Mo Ping’s words, Yiyi shook her head and said, ”No, making paste prescriptions involves a lot of procedures, and we’re using all good-quality herbs, so the price definitely can’t be cheap.”

Mo Ping didn’t say more upon hearing this and just hoped they could achieve a good result on the first day.

But as it approached noon break and closing time, only a few people had ordered paste prescriptions.

Kong Mingsheng, who had been consulting at Wuming Pharmacy since morning, saw that there weren’t many people and instead comforted Yiyi, ”Yiyi, although we didn’t have many people today, we still managed to sell two paste prescriptions, so don’t feel anxious, things will get better gradually.”

Hearing this, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile and said, ”Master, I’m not anxious at all; you should take a break instead.”

”I’m not tired.”

Yiyi didn’t believe him and directly sent Kong Mingsheng to rest.

After sitting down, Kong Mingsheng looked at Yiyi and said, ”Yiyi, your first and second senior brothers are coming this afternoon, you can have them help you then.”

”Okay.”

Yiyi replied with a smile and then instructed Mo Ping to prepare lunch.

”Don’t worry, little boss, the meal’s already been ordered.”

Yiyi nodded after hearing this and, once the meal was delivered, invited Kong Mingsheng and the others to eat together.

Tao Cuizhu and Cao Panpan were sitting next to Kong Mingsheng, somewhat reserved with a respectful demeanor.

”Haha, you must be Yiyi’s classmates, don’t be shy, just relax.”

”Yes, Elder Kong.”

Tao Cuizhu replied immediately, though still not at ease.

Seeing this, Kong Mingsheng didn’t say much, but he noticed their diligence and hard work, providing guidance and detailed explanations on pharmacology during the conversation.

Tao Cuizhu and the others also noticed this, becoming increasingly respectful and close in their interactions with Kong Mingsheng. Yet they were careful not to converse too much, afraid of disturbing the elder.

After lunch, Yiyi asked Kong Mingsheng to rest again.

”No need, I’ll rest here in your shop for a while and continue consulting in the afternoon.”

Yiyi quickly said, ”Master, there’s really no need, you’ve been busy all morning already.”

The two paste prescriptions sold today were out of respect for Kong Mingsheng.

”Alright, Yiyi, no need to say more, I’ve made up my mind. Besides, I’m waiting for your two senior brothers, I can leave after they arrive.”

Hearing this, Yiyi didn’t say more and prepared a deck chair for Kong Mingsheng to rest.

After the pharmacy reopened in the afternoon, Qian Jinfan and Qi Renkun arrived together.

”First Senior Brother, Second Senior Brother, you’re here, come in and sit.”

The two entered and immediately greeted Kong Mingsheng, ”Hello, Master.”

”You two are really late.”

Kong Mingsheng said disdainfully.

Yiyi quickly added, ”Master, it’s already rare for the senior brothers to spare time to come, please don’t say that.”

”Haha, thank you, little sister, for understanding.”

Qian Jinfan replied with a smile and then asked, ”Little sister, what do we need to do?”

Before Yiyi could respond, Kong Mingsheng chimed in, ”You two don’t need to do anything else, just help with the prescriptions.”

Upon hearing this, Qian Jinfan and Qi Renkun both smiled and nodded.

”Then I’ll trouble my first and second senior brothers.”

Yiyi sincerely thanked them.

”Alright, Yiyi, no need to be polite with them, it’s their duty to look after their younger sister.” 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

Kong Mingsheng casually waved his hand, then told Yiyi to sit and rest.

Yiyi smiled at these words but remained genuinely grateful to her senior brothers.

In the afternoon, more and more people started to come, most likely drawn by Kong Mingsheng, probably because someone spread the news in the morning, so everyone knew about it.

Seeing so many people, Kong Mingsheng felt elated and even got involved to help, though he hadn’t done a full-day consultation in a long time, so he began to feel tired by around three in the afternoon, with Yiyi being the first to notice.

”It’s okay, Yiyi, I’m not tired yet.”

Yiyi, however, insisted that he take a break, ”Master, we can’t attend to everyone, so please rest, I can handle it here; don’t you trust me?”

Hearing his apprentice say this, Kong Mingsheng didn’t argue further and went to the inner room to rest.

Meanwhile, Cao Panpan and the others were relieved.

”Luckily, we didn’t go back at noon, otherwise Yiyi would have been overwhelmed.”

Feng Yudan, beside them, nodded in agreement, ”Yes, good thing we stuck around.”

Tao Cuizhu chimed in, ”Alright, let’s hurry back and help.”

The girls quickly returned to the front to assist.

”Yiyi, with such a big event at your pharmacy today, why didn’t you tell me?” came a voice full of vigor as Mr. Ding walked in.

Seeing Mr. Ding, Yiyi quickly went up to him.

”Grandpa, what brings you here?”

Mr. Ding glanced at Yiyi and said, ”If your mother hadn’t mentioned it, I wouldn’t have known about this, otherwise, I would’ve come to support you this morning.”

”Grandpa, there’s really no need, just letting things happen naturally is fine.”

But Mr. Ding disagreed, saying, ”Why not? Besides, can’t I come to order some tonics?”

Yiyi couldn’t help but chuckle, ”Of course you can, absolutely.”

At this point, Qian Jinfan stood up, smiling at Mr. Ding, ”Old Master, let me take your pulse then.”

”Thank you, Dean Qian.”

Mr. Ding sat down with a smile and extended his hand.

Seeing this, Yiyi didn’t say much, though she hadn’t expected Mr. Gu and Old Mrs. Gu to come too, and eventually even Mr. Chu arrived. These elders seemed to have planned it, all coming to order paste prescriptions.

Yiyi cast a puzzled glance at Mr. Ding, as she hadn’t spread the word about this.

”Don’t look at me, it wasn’t me who told them.”

At this moment, Old Mrs. Gu said from the side, ”Alright Yiyi, we all found out by accident. Don’t look at your grandpa, come and check our pulses.”

Next to her, Mr. Chu added, ”Yes, Yiyi, we old folks need some good supplements too.”

Hearing this, Yiyi didn’t think further.

After preparing prescriptions for everyone, Yiyi said, ”The paste prescriptions will take about half a month to prepare; I’ll deliver them to you when they’re ready.”

”No rush on our part.”

Old Mrs. Gu replied with a smile and then looked at Yiyi with concern, ”Be sure to take care of yourself too, don’t overwork.”

”I will, grandma, thank you for your concern.”

After a few more words with Yiyi, they went home, and soon after more and more people came for consultations.
