The Rebirth of the Fierce Little Cute Girl

Chapter 452: Chapter 451: Launch

Mo Ping moved quickly, and after discussing with Yiyi, he promptly found those few pharmacists and explained the situation to them.

Everyone agreed, knowing that the salary offered by Wuming Pharmaceutical Factory was higher than in other places, and both the boss and factory director were very kind. They were naturally happy to keep working there, signing for ten years, even twenty, didn’t bother them.

Seeing their attitude, Mo Ping nodded in satisfaction, ”I’m very pleased that you can sign this agreement. Later, the young boss will personally teach you the method to prepare the paste. Do a good job. I’ve tried this paste, it works really well, and you will definitely find a niche at the factory with this skill.”

Upon hearing this, the group became even more enthusiastic.

Once Yiyi knew they had signed the agreement, she went over after lunch to teach them.

Preparing the paste is time-consuming and labor-intensive. She personally explained step-by-step and worked alongside them to make the paste.

However, the group, trying for the first time, didn’t do very well. They finally got the hang of it after two failures.

Yiyi and the group worked tirelessly until seven or eight in the evening before stopping.

”Young boss, you’ve really worked hard.”

Master Zhao sincerely stated, while also thanking, ”Thanks for trusting us, young boss, we will do our best.”

The others also assured, ”Don’t worry, young boss, we’ll definitely do our best.”

Hearing this, Yiyi couldn’t help but smile, ”Good, make sure you work hard in the future.”

After chatting with the group for a few more moments, Yiyi went home.

Ding Yuejun sighed in relief seeing his daughter finally return, then said, ”Yiyi, why so late today.”

Yiyi hurriedly replied, ”There’s some work at the pharmacy today, mom, where’s grandpa?”

”I had your grandfather go to bed already, you see, it’s almost nine. By the way, have you had dinner?”

Yiyi shook her head pitifully, ”Not yet, I’m starving.”

Hearing these words, Ding Yuejun felt a bit heartbroken and pulled her to the dining room. Fortunately, food was saved in the kitchen, so Yiyi quickly ate some before retiring for the night.

The next morning, Yiyi went to school early for classes.

Upon seeing Yiyi, Tao Cuizhu and the group quickly asked, ”Yiyi, last night when we left, you were still busy at the pharmacy. How did it turn out? Did those pharmacists learn?”

Seeing their concerned expressions, Yiyi replied with a smile, ”Don’t worry, Master Zhao and the rest are learning quickly. We’ve settled it; we’ll officially launch the paste on December 1st, so I might need to ask for leave then.”

”Yiyi, we’ll go with you.”

Hearing Yiyi’s words, Tao Cuizhu and the group were eager to help.

Yiyi shook her head, ”No need, there’s class that day, so you don’t need to come.”

”Yiyi, you’re being too reserved. The pharmacy is bound to be busy that day. Even if we can’t help much, we can at least offer tea and pour water.”

Seeing their insistence, Yiyi could only nod finally, ”Alright then, you can come for a morning.”

”Okay, okay, got it.”

Cao Panpan and the others nodded in understanding.

After morning classes ended, Yiyi didn’t stay at school but went directly to see Master Kong Mingsheng.

Kong Mingsheng was surprised to see Yiyi, ”Yiyi, how come you are here today? Don’t you have class?”

Yiyi explained her purpose.

After all, the main thing with the paste lies in the prescription, which requires diagnosing the pulse to understand the person’s condition and finally configure the paste based on the pulse. So, for the opening day, she wanted to invite her master to oversee it.

Understanding his little apprentice’s intention, Kong Mingsheng quickly smiled, ”Alright, I’ll definitely be there.”

Besides, Kong Mingsheng was quite intrigued by the paste as well. After asking a few questions, he said with bright eyes, ”Yiyi, your idea is really good. Next time you have time, take me to the pharmacy; I’d love to see you make the paste.”

Yiyi promptly nodded in agreement.

Then, Kong Mingsheng mentioned the previous prescription leakage, ”Yiyi, you were too careless, each prescription is crucial, how could you have been so careless as to let it leak.”

”Master, I truly was careless.”

”Alright, alright, I won’t say more. Be more careful in the future. Fortunately, you always have ideas, like coming up with this paste. I’ll have your senior brothers also visit.”

Thinking of her two busy senior brothers, Yiyi couldn’t help but say, ”Do the senior brothers have time?”

”Don’t worry, no matter how busy they are, they can spare half a day, so I’ll have them also come then.”

Seeing her master’s full support, Yiyi quickly said, ”Thank you, Master.”

”What’s there to thank, especially with how many items you bring me each time you come. This old man almost feels embarrassed, so if I can help you, I’d be more than happy.”

Yiyi was truly good to him, so he really liked this filial apprentice.

Hearing this, Yiyi cheerfully said, ”Master, next time I’ll make some medicinal wine to share between the two masters.”

”That’s great, but you don’t need to steep any Lingzhi wine or ginseng wine, just some fruit wine will do.”

The Lingzhi wine Yiyi had given him last time was absolutely superb; after consuming it, he felt stronger. But such premium Lingzhi and ginseng are hard to come by, and he couldn’t let his young apprentice spend extravagantly.

Yiyi smiled and nodded, though she still planned to prepare Lingzhi wine. The two masters cared for her greatly, and she naturally hoped they’d be even better.

Since she had afternoon classes, Yiyi chatted a bit more with Kong Mingsheng before heading back to school.

On the weekend, Yiyi took Kong Mingsheng directly to the pharmacy.

This time, Yiyi also checked Mo Ping’s pulse and decided to make him a paste.

Kong Mingsheng also checked Mo Ping’s pulse, then looked at the medicine Yiyi prepared, nodding afterward. Watching Yiyi prepare the paste, he finally said, ”Not bad, not bad.”

Upon completing the final step, Yiyi packed the paste and handed it to Kong Mingsheng, saying, ”Master, please take a look.”

Receiving it, Kong Mingsheng brewed it with water, tasted it, and nodded with a smile, ”The effect is just like decoction, but it condenses the essence even more, very good.”

Seeing her master approve, Yiyi felt completely at ease.

On December 1st, Wuming Pharmacy was adorned with flags, launching the paste officially. Yet, initially, not many tried it, especially since the paste wasn’t cheap.

Mo Ping also came to the pharmacy to help today but, noticing the lack of foot traffic, he looked at Yiyi and asked, ”Young boss, do you think we set the price too high?”
