Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2601: Chapter 1888: The Eve of the Storm (Part 2)

”Now, contact the Yang Family immediately and tell them to use all media resources to cooperate with us! Start the public opinion offensive right away! If the Yang Family disagrees... they have no right to refuse! Since they’re already on board, they shouldn’t think they can stay out of it! They’ve also provoked the Huaxia people, and they should know that this matter won’t end well!” Mira shouted.

Wagg’s eyes were heavy as he nodded, ”Alright, I’ll contact them shortly!”

The Yang Family, who came to them willingly, should naturally be used to the fullest!

”And your nephew Alger, he has a Colossal Family backing him!” Mira showed a hint of a fierce smile.

Dragging that big family into this means more opportunities, even a chance for survival in a hopeless situation.

”Alger?” Wagg shook his head repeatedly at Mira’s request, ”No, this won’t do! He is my nephew! He hasn’t been much involved in this situation so far, and it’s unnecessary to pull him in! If his family gets involved, they won’t let us off the hook afterwards, we need to consider this carefully...”

”Are you leaving yourself a way out, Wagg!” Mira’s eyes were fierce, cutting off Wagg’s words, ”Just because that family is related to you? Afraid of facing the consequences later? Think about it, if you go to jail, will they spare no expense to get you out? Or will they treat you like a maggot, staying away to avoid tainting their reputation!”

Mira’s sarcasm made Wagg frown and fall silent.

”Alger is also involved in this, if it weren’t for him, you wouldn’t have entertained the initial idea, right?” Mira continued, with a cruel smile on her face, ”He’s already an adult, he has to pay the price for his choices! Contact him and have him use all available resources to join this matter!”

Mira went on, ”Even if we only find sixty thousand US Dollars worth of goods from that Bai Xiaosheng, even if it’s hard to pin down, we must use the power of the media to make this matter sensational! As long as the public believes he’s guilty, then he is guilty! We must ruin that Bai Xiaosheng’s reputation, make the Huaxia people feel their reputation is damaged, and also isolate those big powers who want to help Bai Xiaosheng!”

”This is the only way we can have a sliver of hope!” Mira said fiercely.

These words made Wagg’s face gradually become ferocious.

By now, this isn’t a misunderstanding that can be stopped, it’s a life-and-death struggle.

”Alright, alright. I understand!” Wagg gritted his teeth.

Unexpectedly, at such a critical moment, it was Mira who was more determined and ruthless.

No wonder he is the department head.

But Wagg had no time to lament, just as he was about to act, a tune rang from his phone.

Someone was calling in.

Wagg took his phone out, seeing the name displayed, his eyebrows raised immediately, he didn’t rush to answer but exchanged a look with Mira, ”It’s Yang Xiaoyun!”

Mira was startled, then laughed, ”Seems the Yang Family knows they have no way out! I hope he’s calling to contribute, if not, if they still want to hold back or withdraw, I’ll be the first to deal with them!”

Wagg just nodded.

Time is tight and the situation is urgent, wavering cannot be tolerated.

Wagg felt the same way.

After picking up the call, Yang Xiaoyun’s voice came from the other end, ”Is this Mr. Wagg?”

”It’s me.” Wagg put it on speaker, said solemnly, ”Mr. Yang Xiaoyun?”

”Yes,” Yang Xiaoyun replied.

After confirming their identities, they got straight to business, both knowing there was no need for pleasantries.

”Calling me this late, I hope you’re calling to contribute!” Wagg said in a rather stern tone.

”That’s exactly my intention!”

On the other end, Yang Xiaoyun didn’t hesitate, ”All the media resources of the Yang Family are mobilized, at your disposal!”

These words, unexpectedly, surprised both Wagg and Mira.

They didn’t expect Yang Xiaoyun, known as a business trickster, to be so reliable.

”Both my father and brother strongly oppose the action against the Huaxia Business Group and want me to stop. But Mr. Wagg, you know that once we take the first step, there’s no turning back, so I must solidify this while I have the power, so they can’t stop it!” Yang Xiaoyun decided.

It seems he is also a ruthless character.

”That’s excellent!” Wagg said with a deep laugh.

Next to him, Mira couldn’t help but nod.

Now, they must act quickly, fight fast against slow.

Subsequently, Wagg and Yang Xiaoyun had a discussion over the phone, finalizing the media strategy for the next steps.

After reaching an agreement, they ended the call.

”I’ll contact Alger right away.” This time in front of Mira, Wagg volunteered.

Mira nodded, still listening from the side.

...

At this moment, in the Yang Family Ancient Castle, Yang Xiaoyun let out a sigh of relief, putting down the phone with an ugly expression. Yang Junluo was next to him, and even Yang Yishan was there.

What Yang Xiaoyun said just now, about going against his father’s and brother’s will, was complete nonsense.

In fact, this call was directed by Yang Junluo.

”From this moment on, Xiaoyun, this is all on you, nothing to do with the family,” Yang Junluo said solemnly, ”It’s you, who, initially forced by Bai Xiaosheng, harbored a grudge and resorted to this plan, using your resources with no turning back. By tomorrow, when the media stirs things up, I’ll personally contact the Huaxia Business Group, express shock and apologies, and then I’ll announce your dismissal, but the media will continue as they are.”
