Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2624: Chapter 1898: Bai Xiaosheng’s Grand Plan (Part 2)

Later on, Lady Daliya actually developed a certain feeling in her heart.

The young man named ”Bai Xiaosheng” in front of her, winning him over seemed more valuable for Oshan than winning over those financial giants like Brady and Anlos!

As soon as the thought crossed her mind, Bai Xiaosheng seemed like a golden figure in Lady Daliya’s eyes.

”Mother, we’re back.” At this moment, accompanied by a voice, the door was pushed open.

Chen Feiqiu entered with Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying.

As he walked in, Chen Feiqiu said, ”Sheng, we’ve chosen the wine. Twenty bottles of each kind have been taken from the main cellar to the small cellar in the castle where you’re staying. You can take them when you leave, but I still hope you’ll stay a few more days. We have many more varieties of good wine at home...”

Talking to himself, Chen Feiqiu looked up only to find that neither his mother, Lady Daliya nor Bai Xiaosheng, was paying him any attention or listening to him.

The two seemed to be discussing something, intensely and enthusiastically.

Chen Feiqiu had never seen his mother talking so congenially with an outsider, and he was stunned.

Even Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying were a bit perplexed.

”Have a seat and drink some wine first. We’ll finish our conversation shortly.” Lady Daliya even commanded the three of them.

She was discussing several major strategies for Oshan’s new energy industry to expand into overseas markets with Bai Xiaosheng, nearing the end.

Curious, Chen Feiqiu listened in, pouring himself a glass of wine and drinking.

A few minutes later, Bai Xiaosheng and Lady Daliya reached a temporary consensus.

Lady Daliya looked at Bai Xiaosheng with deep approval in her eyes, liking him more and more.

”Mr. Sheng, I wonder if you’re married. I have three unmarried daughters. How about I introduce them to you?”

”If you’d like, I can invite your entire family, no, the whole clan to settle in Oshan. I’ll grant you a lifelong title and the best treatment!”

”If you want to enter the business world, we’ll give you the best resources. If you’re thinking about entering politics...” Lady Daliya spoke warmly and enthusiastically to Bai Xiaosheng.

Chen Feiqiu nearly choked on his wine, looking at his mother in amazement.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying also stared in shock.

”Lady Daliya, I appreciate your kindness, but I think I’m more suited to being a Huaxia person.” Bai Xiaosheng replied with a smile.

”Consider it. There’s always room for negotiation!” Lady Daliya was extremely persistent about this.

Chen Feiqiu looked at his mother with surprise.

”Lady Daliya, I already have a fiancée, and thoughts of emigration have never crossed my mind.” Bai Xiaosheng provided a firm answer and added with a smile, ”However, regarding what you mentioned earlier about negotiating with those financial giants, I can consider giving some advice. Of course, the extent of my involvement would need approval from my superiors.”

Lady Daliya felt a bit disappointed, but in an instant, she returned to her cheerful self, adjusting her emotions.

”Mr. Sheng, today’s conversation was truly enjoyable. Now I need to head to the Supreme Chieftain. I will relay what you said truthfully, hoping that in the near future, Oshan will prosper because of you! You will achieve new heights from Oshan!” Lady Daliya smiled as she stood up.

Bai Xiaosheng also smiled and got up to see her off.

”Ah, are you leaving?” Chen Feiqiu responded and stood up.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying naturally stood up as well.

”Yes, you all continue having fun.” Lady Daliya smiled at Chen Feiqiu and said without concealment, ”Having such a friend is truly your blessing, make sure to entertain him well!”

For Lady Daliya to say this so openly in front of guests was unprecedented, shocking even Chen Feiqiu, who then nodded.

After giving these instructions, Lady Daliya left, with Bai Xiaosheng, Chen Feiqiu, and the others seeing her out the door, watching her leave.

After Lady Daliya left, Chen Feiqiu clicked his tongue in amazement at Bai Xiaosheng, murmuring, ”What did you talk about that made my mother regard you so highly and even want to introduce my sister to you?”

Bai Xiaosheng shrugged.

Well, that’s a long story.

”But come to think of it, I would become your brother then, which doesn’t sound bad.” Chen Feiqiu scratched his chin.

Bai Xiaosheng was speechless, reminding, ”I already have a fiancée.”

”I know, Oshan laws don’t forbid polygamy.” Chen Feiqiu murmured.

Bai Xiaosheng turned around and left, not wanting to waste more words on him.

”Hey, I was just joking.” Chen Feiqiu immediately chased after him.

Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying exchanged glances behind them and simultaneously shrugged their shoulders.

Chen Feiqiu took Bai Xiaosheng on another tour, and the four of them were a bit exhausted.

Bai Xiaosheng suggested going back to his room to rest.

Coincidentally, it was also Chen Feiqiu’s time to do his homework. As the son of the Supreme Chieftain, he needed to complete several hours of political and economic courses every day.

This wasn’t a matter of personal choice but a responsibility.

Parting ways with Chen Feiqiu, Bai Xiaosheng, Lin Weiwei, and Lei Ying each returned to their respective rooms.

After returning, Bai Xiaosheng planned to rest for a bit when he heard his phone ringing.

”Director Hou.” Upon seeing the caller ID, Bai Xiaosheng’s heart skipped a beat.

Lady Daliya mentioned that she’d spoken with the Huaxia high-level officials, wanting to ”keep” him here for a couple more days as a guest, and now Hou Yuncheng was calling, perhaps related to this.

”Sheng, is that you?” As the call connected, Hou Yuncheng’s voice came through.

”It’s me, Director Hou.”

”Are you free now? I want to discuss something with you.”

”Yes, tell me.”

On the phone, Hou Yuncheng indeed brought up Lady Daliya’s contact with the high-level officials, expressing her wish to keep Bai Xiaosheng as a guest for some days.

”Lady Daliya said you diagnosed a hidden ailment for the Chieftain during a pulse check?” Hou Yuncheng said in surprise over the phone, ”Since when did you have such skills?”

Upon hearing this, Bai Xiaosheng had to say, ”I learned it before... ”

”You learned well, such matters greatly help in fostering friendship between both sides. But due to considerations of confidentiality, you’ll have to endure staying there a bit longer for now,” Hou Yuncheng said. ”However, Lady Daliya has, in the name of the Chieftain, assured that you won’t be subjected to any unfair treatment.”

”I believe that,” Bai Xiaosheng replied.

”Lady Daliya also, in the name of Oshan, requested our high-level officials, saying they would like to invite you to be a business consultant for Oshan for a few days as an alternative support from Huaxia to Oshan,” Hou Yuncheng laughed. ”It seems you’ve left quite an impression on them.”

”Please don’t joke about me,” Bai Xiaosheng said with a wry smile.

Hou Yuncheng immediately added, ”This is actually a good thing; did you know that Mr. Lu Yun over there was once hired as an honorary business consultant by a country? So this isn’t unprecedented.”

Bai Xiaosheng was surprised.

This kind of thing actually had a precedent.

”The upper levels asked me to check your thoughts on this, to see if you agree,” Hou Yuncheng said. ”We support any decision you make!”

This essentially gave Bai Xiaosheng a great deal of freedom in making his decision.

Actually, Bai Xiaosheng had already discussed his business ideas with Lady Daliya, and if successful, it would greatly benefit the Huaxia business sector.

Bai Xiaosheng promptly picked out some key points and communicated them to Hou Yuncheng.

”I didn’t expect you to have such an idea! If that’s the case, Sheng, I think it’s best for you to stay there and even accept the title of business consultant!”

Having heard this, Hou Yuncheng was also very excited and actively suggested Bai Xiaosheng accept Lady Daliya’s proposal.

”As for the business delegation, you don’t need to worry about it. Anyway, staying with Chief Ogade, you’ll miss the itinerary, as they’ll be leaving in a few days. Leave the upcoming matters to others,” Hou Yuncheng said.

With this, Bai Xiaosheng was officially relieved from his duties.

With no ”official” shackles, he felt free.

”If that’s the case, then I’ll stay here a few more days.”

Bai Xiaosheng chatted a while longer with Hou Yuncheng before hanging up the call.

No longer being the team leader and having the support from above, Bai Xiaosheng felt a rare sense of ease since his trip to Africa began.

Lying on the bed, Bai Xiaosheng stretched and muttered to himself, ”Should I accept Lady Daliya’s invitation to become a consultant and help them deal with those consortium heads? If so, it could be a great start for expansive cooperation on both sides.”

At that moment, Lady Daliya was with Chief Ogade.

Chief Ogade had accepted a conservative treatment and seemed in good spirits.

Lady Daliya conveyed Bai Xiaosheng’s words verbatim to Chief Ogade.

”This young man is truly remarkable!” Even Chief Ogade was full of interest in Bai Xiaosheng’s ideas.

In an unusually resolute tone, Lady Daliya said, ”I believe it was fate that brought him to Oshan! To help us revive commerce, we must not miss this opportunity with him at any cost!”

Chief Ogade looked at his wife in astonishment.

This was an unprecedented compliment from Lady Daliya!
