Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2643: Chapter 1907: No Problem at All!

Bai Xiaosheng took a full week to finally handle all aspects of his work properly, getting everything on track, and he finally felt relieved in his heart.

Everything is like this, once it’s on track and there’s a certain pattern, it becomes simple.

Feeling relaxed, Bai Xiaosheng decided to have tea and watch the sunrise tomorrow morning with Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying.

In fact, this was something Lin Weiwei had suggested a long time ago. Living in such a beautiful palace, watching the sunrise in the morning should have its own charm.

Bai Xiaosheng also considered this to fulfill a small wish of Lin Weiwei.

The location for watching the sunrise was chosen on the rooftop terrace of the palace where they were staying.

The night before, Bai Xiaosheng asked the butler in charge of their diet and living to set up a small wooden table on the terrace tomorrow morning, with three chairs and a pot of good tea.

The butler, naturally, fully agreed, as it was not an excessive request.

As a result, early the next morning, when Bai Xiaosheng and the others arrived, they discovered that the butler had actually spread a red carpet on the terrace!

Not only that, but on the red carpet was a long carved wooden table, covered with a white tablecloth, meticulously arranged with candlesticks, fresh flowers, fruits, and exquisite tea sets.

Beside the table were three armchairs, wide and comfortable, but they looked extremely heavy, likely taking two people to move them would be exhausting.

The butler, dressed in a tailcoat, stood with a teapot, smiling next to them, with a standing posture that was meticulous.

A band was even there, tuning instruments...

Seeing this scene, Bai Xiaosheng and the others were truly touched, yet found it somewhat amusing, and felt a little guilty.

It was just too extravagant, too overly ceremonial.

However, to the butler, he felt that he was somewhat underprepared. After all, these guests were not only friends of Mr. Awak Wak Lakla, but also guests of the Supreme Chieftain!

How could they be neglected!

Therefore, when he saw Bai Xiaosheng and the others, the butler’s eyes carried a hint of apology...

Bai Xiaosheng and the others expressed their gratitude to the butler, asking him to leave with the band, saying they did not need anyone to serve them and wished to enjoy a peaceful and quiet time together.

The well-trained butler, naturally, would not defy the guests’ wishes and quietly left with his people.

However, just inside the terrace entrance, the butler arranged for staff to guard there, in case Bai Xiaosheng and the others had needs but couldn’t find anyone.

Sitting on the terrace, Bai Xiaosheng and the others extinguished the candle, quietly watching the sunrise, breathing fresh air, while eating snacks and drinking black tea, truly savoring a different kind of experience.

After witnessing the beauty of the sunrise, the three of them started chatting leisurely.

Lin Weiwei changed Bai Xiaosheng’s cup to hot tea, saying, ”Brother Xiaosheng, at present, it’s only Brady’s side that we haven’t talked to yet. After all, he’s a part of our group and manages an extraordinary enterprise. Ignoring him like this is inappropriate, don’t you think? What if the group headquarters is dissatisfied?”

Currently, there is a major change happening in the business world of Oshan; if compared to a long-distance run, Hogson and Anlos have started a week earlier, and Brady is still at the starting point, scratching his head for lack of a runway.

From this week’s events, Brady has contacted twice, showing that he is also anxious.

Of course, Lin Weiwei didn’t care about Brady’s feelings; she was worried about Bai Xiaosheng getting into trouble because of it.

Zhenbei Group is a global giant, considered at the peak level of the global business world. In terms of size, even the major Chinese families like the Wei Family, Bai Family, Luo Family, Qin Family cannot compare. Of course, among the Chinese families, there are differences in strength and weakness. Taking the weakest Yang Family as an example, they rank only eighth in West African business circles, far inferior to Zhenbei Group’s company managed by Brady.

Yet, the company managed by Brady is considered one of the critical lifelines of Zhenbei Group, occupying a significant portion of the group’s total assets.

Because of this, if that company faces the current outcome due to Bai Xiaosheng’s responsibilities, a group of senior executives in the group would surely be very dissatisfied.

At that time, Bai Xiaosheng would inevitably be targeted.

This is what Lin Weiwei did not want to see.

Bai Xiaosheng drank his tea leisurely and said, ”Do you think if I signed with Brady early, the group headquarters would not be dissatisfied with me?”

Bai Xiaosheng chuckled lightly, ”They would think I didn’t give Brady special treatment, didn’t prioritize the group’s interests, those who should attack me would still attack me.”

”Once I can’t withstand the pressure and give Brady even the slightest preferential treatment, the trust I’ve built with Hogson, Anlos, and even the Chieftain of Oshan would be destroyed, my plans to make a significant impact here would come to nothing.”

Bai Xiaosheng saw through these things clearly.

”Balancing multiple interests is the reassurance I want to give to Oshan, but if Brady knows he is subjected to checks by Hogson, Anlos, and even others, he surely wouldn’t be satisfied. There’s a chance he might resist, or even from the group’s level, force me to make changes. But I certainly can’t. If that happens, it would cause severe disagreements and conflicts with Brady, which would be quite troublesome and cumbersome.”

”So how do I avoid that situation?”

Bai Xiaosheng’s rhetorical question made Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying listen attentively.

Without selling suspense, Bai Xiaosheng directly gave his answer, ”My choice is to first create pressure and anxiety for Brady, delay him, wear him down. Then he would cherish the hard-to-come-by opportunity and, due to falling far behind Hogson and Anlos, become fully involved in work, striving to catch up, and thus won’t have time to contend with me.”
