Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2607: Chapter 1891: Extraordinary Visitors (Part 3)

Mira and Wagg exchanged a look, then almost broke into a run as they hurried over, not daring to delay even a second.

The guards naturally saw the two of them. Some recognized them and did not block their way, but they also did not step forward to greet them.

Only a high‑ranking official at the door, upon seeing them, went up to meet them, nodded slightly, and helped them knock on the door.

”Come in.” A warm and gentle voice sounded from inside the office.

Only then did Mira and Wagg push the door open and enter.

They saw that on the sofa in Mira’s office, two people were seated.

The one facing the door, whose face could be seen clearly, was none other than Asgar, the son of the Supreme Chieftain; the other person had his back to the door.

The two were drinking coffee. The always stern Asgar actually had a smile on his face, as if he was chatting about something amusing with that person.

The arrival of Mira and Wagg made Asgar stop talking; his smile also faded slightly as he stood up.

The person opposite him also turned his head to look at the two of them and stood up with a smile.

Mira and Wagg gave a hurried glance and saw only that it was a young man, who looked utterly ordinary, without the royal aura that surrounded Asgar.

However, someone who could sit and drink coffee with Asgar, talking and laughing—how could such a person be ordinary?

Mira and Wagg both did not dare show the slightest neglect. Neither of them thought that man was a nobody, and both gave him identical, kindly smiles.

”You two, I’m very sorry to disturb you.” Asgar said amiably, apologizing to Mira and Wagg.

After all, Mira and Wagg were the number one and number two of Oshan’s Ministry of Commerce, with extremely high status and rank; it was only proper for Asgar to be courteous to them.

His extremely polished etiquette made this son of the Supreme Chieftain appear to have a very good temper, but those who knew him naturally understood that cultivated manners and whether he was easy to get along with were two entirely different matters.

”Mr. Asgar, I didn’t expect it would be you—what a failure on our part to come so late to receive you!” Mira said quickly. ”Please forgive us!”

Wagg also accompanied her with a smile. ”Since you were coming, why didn’t you inform us in advance, so that we could have made some preparations.”

In the face of their courteous words, Asgar merely said mildly, ”I also just received the message and came straight over.”

Hearing this, Mira and Wagg couldn’t help but feel their hearts tighten.

”May I ask, Your personal visit—what matter is it concerning?” Mira quickly ventured.

Asgar did not conceal anything and said bluntly, ”The recent commotion has begun to affect our relationship with Huaxia. My father’s view is that there must be a result as soon as possible; all the chieftains share this view.”

Mira and Wagg’s hearts clenched.

”As for how to handle this, does the Supreme Chieftain have any instructions?” Wagg asked cautiously.

The attitude of the Supreme Chieftain was the most crucial, gripping the hearts of the two of them.

Before Asgar could speak, the young man beside him presumptuously cut in, ”Immediately release Bai Xiaosheng, apologize to him and to the Huaxia people, and calm the media storm.”

This answer made Mira and Wagg’s hearts sink.

”That... wouldn’t be good. That Bai Xiaosheng is a problematic person, and the matter has blown up so much...” Mira naturally did not wish to agree.

Wagg, however, looked at the young man and tentatively asked, ”And you are...?”

This young man looked unfamiliar to them, yet somehow vaguely familiar.

Before the young man could speak, Asgar raised his voice and said, ”He is my younger brother. This time, he is the one conveying the will of the Supreme Chieftain; I am merely accompanying him.”

These words gave Mira and Wagg a tremendous shock.

Mira stared at the young man in astonishment and said, ”You... you are the one studying abroad—Mr. Awak Wak Lakla.”

Hearing such a tongue‑twisting name, the young man seemed to get a bit of a headache, but he still forced a smile and said, ”Perhaps you can call me by my Chinese name; it’s easier to remember. I’m called Chen Feiqiu.”
