Inheritance of Two Trillion

Chapter 2648: Chapter 1909: Brady’s Heartache

”Let’s start by discussing this industry.” Chen Feiqiu picked up a proposal, placed it in front of Brady, and said, ”I have just reviewed your proposal. Your Keruoge Company plans to enter the upstream market of this industry and set up factories in the southern and western regions of Oshan. Within three years, you aim to establish ten factories!”

Brady nodded in acknowledgment, his eyes showing a hint of approval.

Awak Wak Lakla, the son of the Chief Ogade, was indeed not an ordinary young man. He immediately pinpointed their key strategic plan and was able to grasp the essentials just from a single browse. Impressive indeed.

”But with this approach, your Keruoge Company will hold over a third of the market share in the upstream sector of the industry.”

”Even without additional investment, based on Keruoge’s current resources, it’s easy for you to further expand your market share, potentially leading to an upstream market monopoly.”

”This way, you will have a stranglehold on the midstream and downstream enterprises, achieving an overall industry monopoly won’t be too difficult.”

Chen Feiqiu’s prediction was not alarmist talk but a very likely outcome.

It was also Brady’s thought.

It must be said, Brady had not been idle in the past week. He had painstakingly investigated various operations and data of both Hogson and Anlos, and speculated which markets they were focusing on, identifying other potential lucrative areas in Oshan.

Brady adjusted his original development plan and intended to implement a new plan under the established circumstances.

No wonder he is the chief executive of one of Zhenbei Group’s strongest subsidiaries—Keruoge Company. Indeed, not simple!

Even Bai Xiaosheng, who was beside him, couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration for Brady.

Brady smiled slightly, not denying Chen Feiqiu’s statement.

”Mr. Awak Wak Lakla, monopolizing a market is not necessarily a bad thing, except in some countries and industries where it’s prohibited. If you think our investment might lead to a monopoly situation that would negatively impact Oshan, and thereby reject our investment, isn’t that overly anxious? Even if we monopolize an industry in the future. Of course, Hogson and Anlos might also monopolize some industries. I think the only guarantee we can offer is that we will be accountable to Oshan and follow all commands of the Supreme Chieftain. By then, wouldn’t a monopoly that generates more tax revenues be beneficial for Oshan’s development?”

Brady believed Chen Feiqiu was resistant to monopolies and stated that even if they dominated the market, they would ultimately be under Oshan’s jurisdiction.

This aspect could reassure Oshan.

As for why Chen Feiqiu seemed resistant, Brady glanced at Bai Xiaosheng, suspecting that Bai Xiaosheng had reinforced the harmfulness of a company’s ”monopoly” to Chen Feiqiu.

Eastern cultures generally dislike this approach.

However, Chen Feiqiu shook his head and said to Brady, ”You’ve misunderstood me. I haven’t firmly resisted that form.”

This answer surprised Brady a bit, and he looked at Chen Feiqiu in amazement.

”I’m just saying your plan needs adjustments, you cannot be so... reckless.” Chen Feiqiu frankly said, ”Three years for ten factories, even if you have abundant funds, you cannot invest so aggressively. We can only allow you here to invest in...”

While speaking, Chen Feiqiu looked towards Bai Xiaosheng, seeming to seek his opinion.

”Six factories, that’s about right.” Bai Xiaosheng offered a suggestion and added, ”The total investment amount is limited to sixty percent of the planned, and the overall construction time needs to be extended to five years.”

”Exactly, that’s it.” Chen Feiqiu immediately agreed and said to Brady.

This response was something Brady found truly unacceptable.

Especially extending the construction period by two years!

Currently, he was rushing to layout, precisely to get ahead of everyone, particularly Hogson and Anlos.

Those two parties hold only between fifteen to twenty percent of the shares in this field, to defeat them in the future, quicker and stronger action is needed!

Bai Xiaosheng’s suggestion directly abandoned his idea!

Brady didn’t even know what expression to use to convey his feelings at this moment, his hands raised in mid-air, unsure whether to lift or drop.

Had it not been for Chen Feiqiu being the son of Ogade, he might have lost control of his emotions.

”Why?”

”What’s the basis for such restrictions?”

”Is the remaining market just left to grow unchecked?”

Brady restrained himself further but couldn’t help asking three consecutive questions.

Looking at Bai Xiaosheng, Brady’s gaze was evidently showing dissatisfaction.

And quite dissatisfied.

Bai Xiaosheng had been obstructive, now sabotaging, what exactly is he trying to do!? To Zhenbei Group, wouldn’t that be considered betrayal!

Could it be just because of his feud and disagreements with Bai Xuanyu?

Brady was already dissatisfied with Bai Xiaosheng before the call, and now this emotion reached a small peak.

”No need to worry about that, Mr. Brady, the remaining market, we intend to leave to a major businessman.”

Chen Feiqiu noticed Brady’s dissatisfaction and his hostility towards Bai Xiaosheng, and immediately spoke, pulling his attention back to himself.

”So there are other businessmen?” Brady was stunned by this answer.

Besides Hogson and Anlos, he couldn’t think of who else could participate. Even the Yang Family of West Africa seemed irrelevant to him.
