Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Chapter 189: Chapter 122: I Really Just Want to Watch You Dance

”Oh, were you just calling me useless?”

Xu Yun had suddenly appeared at Su Mu’s house with Yu Xuan.

He glanced around at everyone, walked over to Su Mu, and casually wrapped an arm around her waist. ”It’s a little awkward,” he said, ”to walk in and hear myself getting bad-mouthed.”

Everyone was speechless.

Xu Yun’s appearance had stunned Su Mu and everyone else.

Su Mu asked in surprise, ”Xu Yun, what are you doing here?”

”Well, I was worried you were going to get bullied.”

Apparently, after he had woken up that morning, Li Jinshu had come asking for help.

She explained that Su Mu had been summoned home first thing in the morning because of a blind date.

She also described Su Mu’s family situation, worried that Su Mu would be treated unfairly or bullied. That was why she had come to Xu Yun for help.

After hearing all this, Xu Yun of course had to come and back up his woman.

He looked at Su Jianqiang and the still-charming woman in front of him and said, ”Uncle, allow me to introduce myself. I’m Xu Yun, the very ’useless’ person you were just mentioning. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

”I came in a hurry and didn’t have time to grab a gift for our first meeting. I wouldn’t have known what to get you, anyway.”

Xu Yun pulled a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, opened it, and offered one. ”Uncle, care for one? Just bought them.”

Su Jianqiang was speechless.

”I guess you don’t smoke, Uncle. I’m not a big fan either, actually.”

Xu Yun put the cigarettes away and sighed. ”Uncle, since you dislike your daughter so much, why don’t you name a price today? I’ll buy her off you. How about it?”

”Young man, do you have any idea what you’re saying?”

Su Jianqiang said, suppressing his fury, ”You’re not welcome in our home. Get out!”

”Oh.”

Xu Yun turned to Su Mu, taking her hand. ”Want to leave with me?” he asked.

”Yes.”

”Su Mu!”

Seeing this, Su Jianqiang roared, ”If you walk out that door with him today, you’re no daughter of mine!”

But Su Mu acted as if she hadn’t heard a thing, continuing to follow Xu Yun toward the door.

Yu Xuan, following behind them, said apologetically to the room, ”Sorry for the disturbance.”

Then, she too turned and hurried after them.

Everyone was speechless once again.

Once they were outside the villa, Xu Yun teased, ”Well, now you’re a homeless woman.”

”But I still have you, don’t I?”

Su Mu smiled. ”Since you’re the one who led me out of there, you have to take responsibility for me.”

”I help you out of the goodness of my heart, and now you’re latching onto me?”

Xu Yun scoffed. ”Fine, I can take you in, but you’ll have to work for it.”

”Aren’t I already?”

Su Mu said indignantly, ”I cook for you whenever I have time during the day, and at night I even have to sleep with you from time to time!”

Xu Yun was speechless.

’Damn, she’s actually right!’

Su Mu suddenly said, ”Xu Yun, I’m going to fight for it.”

”Your dad’s fortune?”

”Yeah.”

”But your dad isn’t dead yet.”

”Who says you have to wait until he’s dead to fight for it?”

Su Mu explained, ”I want to acquire my dad’s company! I’ll make sure that woman doesn’t get a single cent!”

”Why are you suddenly telling me this?”

”I want you to help me.”

Xu Yun asked, puzzled, ”Didn’t I already give you my media company to manage? As long as you have the skills, you can do whatever you want with it. It only has so much capital, though, and you’re not getting a penny more from me.”

”Thank you, Xu Yun.”

’What Xu Yun said meant he was truly letting her take charge of the company and do as she pleased.’

”Don’t thank me.”

Xu Yun leaned in closer and whispered, ”Sister Su, let’s be clear. I’m the one who ’bought’ you for fifty million. From now on, you’re my woman.”

”If you ever want to leave me, you’ll have to pay me back that fifty million!”

”Fine.”

”So, what benefits do I get out of this now?”

”What kind of benefits did you have in mind?”

Xu Yun grinned and asked tentatively, ”Tonight... how about you and Yu Xuan come to my room together...”

”No way...” Su Mu shot him down instantly.

”I haven’t even said what we’d be doing, and you’re already saying no.”

”Then what did you have in mind?”

Xu Yun said, ”I just want the two of you to dress up in historical costumes, you know, like in those TV dramas, and perform a dance for me.”

”Just dancing?”

”Yeah. What else would we be doing?”

Xu Yun laughed. ”It’s not like I could make you both sleep with me, right?”

”Pah!”

’Of course, Su Mu knew what Xu Yun was really up to. He was testing her boundaries.’

Blushing, she said angrily, ”I can consider the dancing. But don’t even think about anything else.”

”Oh.”

”Alone is fine.”

Xu Yun: ”???”

’What just happened?’

”Boss.”

Yu Xuan, who had overheard their conversation, whispered, ”I can only agree to dancing. Nothing else.”

”No, I swear!”

Xu Yun protested, feeling wronged, ”I really did just want to see you dance.”

”I get it, Boss. You don’t have to explain.”

Xu Yun was speechless.

’It’s over. Now I’m probably some kind of pervert in their eyes.’

It got to the point where the two of them went to the company’s work site together, refusing to even ride home in his car.

Frustrated, Xu Yun drove home alone.

Feeling a bit bored, he suddenly got a call from Lawyer Luo.

It was about the case with his ex-girlfriend. Because she hadn’t returned the money she owed Xu Yun on time, the court had begun enforcement proceedings.

Her bank accounts and all assets in her name had been frozen.

Her luxury bags had been taken and sold to a consignment shop, raising a total of 110,000 yuan, which had already been deposited into his account.

As for the remaining 50,000-plus yuan, from now on, regardless of whether she got a job or acquired money some other way, any funds or assets that appeared under her name would be automatically transferred to his account until the debt was fully repaid.

Xu Yun acknowledged this and then asked if a woman with the surname Liang had come to see him for a consultation about dividing assets in a divorce.
