Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Chapter 157: Chapter 111: Xu Yun, I’m Home Alone Tonight, Are You Coming?

”My family’s just an ordinary one.”

Xu Yun smiled. ”I just have a bit of money. Enough to get by.”

Zhang Jiaxin fell silent.

’You call that an ordinary family? Then what does that make the rest of us? Beggars?’

Seeing that he didn’t want to elaborate, she didn’t press the issue. It wouldn’t do to be annoying.

Soon, the two arrived at a specialty restaurant famous in Jiangcheng for its roast chicken.

Before getting out of the car, Xu Yun put on his watch, and they walked into the restaurant together.

A server led them to a small private room.

As they were walking down the restaurant’s hallway, Xu Yun was surprised to run into Liang Yan. She was arm-in-arm with a middle-aged man.

Liang Yan was also a little surprised.

’The last time I messaged him, he never replied. I can’t believe I’m running into him here.’

Xu Yun had planned to pretend he didn’t see her and walk right past, but she called out to him.

”President Xu, long time no see.”

Liang Yan greeted him warmly. ”I never thought I’d run into you here. It must be fate.”

”It is, President Liang.”

Xu Yun replied, ”It’s been a while, but you’re as beautiful as ever.”

”Beautiful? I feel more like I’ve been ghosted. You didn’t even reply to my message.”

Liang Yan said pointedly, ”Is this your new girlfriend?”

”A friend.”

”I get it. A ’friend who’s a girl.’”

President Liang turned to the man beside her and introduced them enthusiastically. ”Honey, this is President Xu. I met him on a business trip to Shanghai. He’s young and very wealthy.”

”A pleasure to meet you, President Xu.”

The middle-aged man hadn’t paid him much mind at first, assuming Liang Yan was just making polite conversation. But when he saw the watch on Xu Yun’s wrist, his attitude changed completely.

’A young man who can casually wear a watch worth millions is no ordinary person.’

He quickly smiled and said, ”I’ve heard Liang Yan mention you. Thanks to your help in Shanghai, she was able to secure her investment. Thank you, thank you so much.”

”It was nothing, really.”

Xu Yun replied politely, ”I only agreed because President Liang was so sincere.”

”Regardless, you have my thanks.”

The middle-aged man extended an invitation. ”How about this? When you have some free time, I’ll have Liang Yan cook a meal at our place and invite you over for dinner. What do you think?”

”We’ll see.”

Having slept with the man’s wife, Xu Yun had no desire for any further contact with him.

He refused him outright. ”It’s not a good time. I’m with a friend, so we should get going.”

”Of course. Goodbye, President Xu. Let’s keep in touch.”

Liang Yan watched her husband, who was acting even more enthusiastic than she was, her eyes filled with contempt.

Her attitude shifted completely. She pulled her arm away from her husband’s and snapped, ”That’s enough. Stop embarrassing yourself. He clearly wants nothing to do with you.”

”What does a woman like you know?”

The middle-aged man shot her a glare and said, displeased, ”A great man knows when to bend and when to be firm. Since you know someone like President Xu, we should do everything we can to get on his good side. Who knows, he might be able to help us in the future.”

”Hmph.”

Liang Yan looked at her useless husband and sneered, ”Since you’re so eager to suck up to him, why don’t you offer him your wife, too?”

”If the price is right, I wouldn’t be against it.”

The middle-aged man glanced back at Liang Yan and added, ”Of course, that’s if you’re willing.”

”I can’t believe those words came out of your mouth! You’re not a man!”

Hearing this, Liang Yan’s eyes filled with disappointment. She cursed him under her breath, then turned and walked away.

The middle-aged man was completely unfazed. He shouted after her, ”I’m going drinking with friends tonight, so I won’t be coming home with you!”

”Come home or don’t, I don’t care! It’d be better if you just dropped dead out there!”

Although they had officially divorced over his gambling debts, it was only on paper.

It was a sham divorce.

In reality, the two were still living together.

Liang Yan still had some feelings for her husband and had hoped he would change for the better.

Now, she was utterly disappointed.

’Fine. You like being a cuckold, don’t you?’

’Then I’ll grant your wish!’

She slammed on the brakes, made a sharp U-turn, and headed for another one of her properties. As she drove, she pulled out her phone and sent Xu Yun her location.

The message was simple and blunt.

”Xu Yun, no one’s home tonight. You coming?”

Back in the restaurant, Xu Yun was eating and chatting with Zhang Jiaxin when his phone chimed. He picked it up, glanced at the screen, and froze for a second.

’This is weird.’

’Wasn’t she just with her husband?’

’How can she be so brazen as to invite me over now?’

’She must be insane!’

He liked women, but he wasn’t the type to let his dick do the thinking for him.

He wasn’t about to get involved in something that risky.

So, Xu Yun simply ignored the message and went back to his meal with Zhang Jiaxin.

In her car, Liang Yan saw that he hadn’t replied after a long while, and the anger in her heart swelled.

She sent another, even more explosive message.

”If your girlfriend is willing, I can come to you. A threesome is fine with me!”

When Xu Yun saw this second message from Liang Yan, his expression changed, and he couldn’t help but suck in a sharp breath.

’What is wrong with this woman tonight? Did someone drug her?’
